There's only one question on my mind: Am I pregnant? Did it happen this time? But no-one can tell me! Am only 5dpo so def no way of telling. Sitting symptom spotting and troughing down mini eggs thinking, could be pg/likely to be pms. Not even like I expect anyone to be able to give any advice or look into crystal balls...just wanted to say on here, I find it quite annoying. Roll on next week...

Try to stay positive! Remember this is your ironic bfp cycle! If not, at least you'll be closer to some answers soon.
I've decided to give it a good crack this time (more swi last night!) but if I don't clearly ovulate this time will demand more tests and ask for gynae referral.
In the present time, after years if suggesting it my dsis has persuaded us to climb Hellvellyn. Am nervous about heights and she insists we must.climb Striding edge. It's been nice knowing you guys!

Nephew sounds sweet!

Am home now after a long weekend away, and spent last night in a fug of baby dreams. Feeling quite anxious and sad this morning at the possibility that I will never get there :(

Bexamundo · 03/05/2011 22:25

Dh has just promised me some swi ;) bring on bedtime!
Had another nice day but my.vocal chords are worn out from singing baa baa black sheep 10 times to Dnephew and other nursery rhymes to keep him happy up the hills. Finished in another pub where they sell real ale in 'bats', 3 1/3 pints to sample them. I can't tolerate wheat so I volunteered to drive. Enjoying a cider now.
Not heard from my friend, assuming she's falling apart and sending texts of affection and support.
How were your days ladies?

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 03/05/2011 07:09

Oops! Snoring, obviously.

I also had a lovely walk that ended up at a pub! Sadly it was a pub full of people with adorable newborns (or so it seemed to me). Spent the next few hours trying to create a pregnancy by sheer force of will. Have been shagging intently far earlier this cycle, so am hoping that might turn out to be the crucial difference that results in a glorious bfp!

Bexamundo · 02/05/2011 23:07

Laughing at dp "snowing". How was your day?
I had a lovely walk which.ended at a pub (yay) and a train.ride home. Dnephew being v cute. Mega tired now, bit emotional about lack of baby/*?ovulation. Also stressed cos I spent about half an hour rubbing at my eye to remove a contact which does not appear to be there!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 02/05/2011 07:36

Yay! I need to do it this morning if in going to do it today or tomorrow. Sadly, DP is still snowing sweetly and will probably do so for hours yet.

It's amazing really that the optimism keeps going, after the miserable depression of the end of the previous cycles!

Bexamundo · 02/05/2011 07:33

Hooray Dh was tipsy but still capable! [cwink]

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 01/05/2011 21:55

I made certain we did it before dinner, as I knew DP would be too alcohol-happy afterwards!

Bexamundo · 01/05/2011 21:46

Dh is tipsy, let's just hope It's the right side and there'll be bd in a bit and not snoring!

Spent today wandering around a local nature reserve thing, gazing hungrily at women with bumps or babies... Therr has been plenty of sex though.

How are your weekends going?

Bexamundo · 01/05/2011 18:38

Ah had a lovely day! Been for a 9 mile walk alongside Lake Windermere, glorious sunshine, legs officially stretched! Got some sun. Now relaxing with a gin :-)
Just watched Dh read Dnephew a bedtime story, made me cry - he's so good with him! I so want to give him a child so he can be a Daddy himself!
Weirdly am still spotting, not sure if that's what happens for me during an anovulatory cycle?!

OP posts:
Bexamundo · 01/05/2011 08:14

dizzy hope you're feeling ok today. know family stuff like that can be really tough to deal with.

OP posts:
Bexamundo · 01/05/2011 08:12

My friend reckons she got pg the day after af left so we too will be having swi from tonight. bit weird with all my family here but got room next to Dad who snores like a train! Dh seems to be nearly better thank goodness.

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 30/04/2011 23:28

Ooh weird, your post didn't show up before mine, kipper! Sorry to hear you feel a bit churned up by family stuff :( Hope you are feeling better now. Does it always have that effect on you?

PatientGriselda · 30/04/2011 23:25

Visiting friends with DP. Time so far spent wandering round antique shops and cafes, mixed with shagging. Probably a bit early, cycle-wise, but never mind.

DizzyKipper · 30/04/2011 21:23

Just got back from my mum's - was her birthday so went round early and spent the day with family, me and OH cooked a BBQ for everyone. Am now back, cocktail in hand, chocolate at the ready, trying to relax (not feeling all too great with the emotions that being with family sometimes brings up).
Tomorrow we're cooking a roast for OH's family - I quite like to cook a roast, but would sortof like a day off where I get to do absolutely nothing before going back to work on Monday. But I'll get that on Thursday.

Sorry to hear your holiday didn't get off to the best start bex, but at least your DH is maintaining such a positive outlook for this cycle, hopefully positive thinking will get positive results Wink.

Are you still staying at friends Griselda?

Bexamundo · 30/04/2011 16:51

Hooray, had a lovely 4 mile walk, lovely vuews, glorious sunshine. Dh felt well enough to join us for a drink and pootle round shops.
What you two up to this weekend?
On the main topic, Dh is confident I will get up the duffer this cycle. I am not! Still spotting and have thrush :s thankfully found a chemist and got canestan. Would go mad otherwise!

Oh no, you sonud like a poorly pair! I know what you mean about getting very irritated about sick partners. I think its an instinctve thing - we want to leave them behind for the good of the herd! Hope he feels better soon.

Bexamundo · 30/04/2011 08:56

Weather lovely. Dh ill (again), loose stools and stomach cramps. For some reason it really irritates me when he's ill. This happens quite frequently, say once a month. He has to see Gp about depression soon anyway so he's agreed to mention it then. He won't go anywhere today cos he wants to be near a loo.great start to holiday!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 30/04/2011 08:20

I've had a shower, but still no one else is stirring! Have moisturised thoroughly to kill time and am now back in bed with a book. But really I want DP to bloody wake up.

How are the Lakes?

Bexamundo · 30/04/2011 07:43

I reckon you can get up now. I'm wide awake first day of holiday. Cos it's ky family not so.bad, got up to make cuppa had to do one for everyone! Gah I used to be able to lie in til last year- it's the regular hours that break that habit. Now 7 feels like a lie in!
Af has pretty done now. Already had a temp.spike, bit weird, too early to ovulate surely? But will ensure he produces the goods tonight just in case!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 30/04/2011 06:35

Lying wide awake next to a snoring DP at te house of some friends. How soon can I reasonably get up or at least wake him? I reckon I need to fill at least two hours first. Gah.

Bexamundo · 29/04/2011 10:21

Waiting to hear back from friend. Yes he very much has cake and eats it. Both would be better off without him yet don't seem able to walk away.y friend would have liked another kid (her DD is 11) but has been on off with him for 4 years and has missed out. He had snip so no chance there and no-one else got a look in. She's now 41 and thinks age gap would be too much. She put her life on hold for him for nothing. Dh is sick of me going on about it. Tis healthy to rant on here!
Welcome back Dizzy, we did miss you! Glad you're ok sorry about lack of opp this cycle. Try to dtd as much as poss before he .leaves just in case!
I too am having short af, she's packing her bags as we speak 48 hours after she arrived.
I usually do MN on phone as I have a smart phone. Hence the weird spelling and random . All the time!

OP posts:
DizzyKipper · 29/04/2011 08:41

lol I was trying quite feebly to access mumsnet through my phone - not at all a sign of desperation - poor connection and time outs had me give up.

PatientGriselda · 29/04/2011 08:36

Dizzy! I thought you'd abandoned us! Glad to hear internet is restored for you.

Managed to overcome the temptation to test this morning (a mere 2 days after period, and without having had any sex for a fortnight!). I am so mature and restrained :o
