There's only one question on my mind: Am I pregnant? Did it happen this time? But no-one can tell me! Am only 5dpo so def no way of telling. Sitting symptom spotting and troughing down mini eggs thinking, could be pg/likely to be pms. Not even like I expect anyone to be able to give any advice or look into crystal balls...just wanted to say on here, I find it quite annoying. Roll on next week...

And it's about a 40min drive away Griselda, not too bad. We'll be hiring a removal company, will also be getting a car in about 3 weeks which will be very good - been without one for several years now!

DizzyKipper · 18/05/2011 06:41

Yeah that really annoys me too. Have some one at work who's possibly pregnant (had a positive and then two negatives with tests, she's now 3 weeks late). She's younger than me and a bit immature. Personally I wouldn't say she's ready to be a mum but it turns out she's actually been trying to conceive. Yet now that she might be she's acted upset and said she was scared by it. I know it's not very nice of me and it's her business and her life, but I was so annoyed - mainly just that she was acting upset after she'd actually been trying to make it happen, if that's the way she feels then she shouldn't have been trying in the first place, kids are something you're meant to take seriously! Have to remind myself that it's her life and not really my place to judge though.

Bexamundo · 18/05/2011 06:31

Yeah my temp has dropped. Don't think it's happened this month [wails]. So frustrating! Can't even go for next month cos of crappy timing, Dh appt to provide a sample is my predicted ovulation day! How ironic is that? Also if af comes in.next couple of days (which it usually dies when temp has dropped) it will be a mega short cycle. Only cd22 now, expecting af two days time max.
Desperate to point out usual ironies like girls everywhere getting upduffed that can't look after babies, just babies themselves, people getting pg without trying. We want one so much and it's just not happening!

OP posts:
Bexamundo · 17/05/2011 22:46

Don't test! It's too early! You could be upduffed but get a false negative and be all upset for no reason. Sit on these hands young lady!!

Brilliant news about the house, dizzy! Is it a full in massive relocation? Or near to where you are currently?

DizzyKipper · 17/05/2011 21:29

Thanks, looking forward to moving - will be good to move somewhere for a fresh start (plus there'll be a nursery!).
Curries were very nice, if I do say so myself Wink Me and OH both love to cook.
And I'm currently wondering whether it would be silly to test or not in the morning, hmm

Bexamundo · 17/05/2011 19:19

Hi dizzy! [Waves enthusiastically]
Good to hear you've found a house! Sounds exciting! The curries sounds yummy.
Being.exhausted sounds rationally logical but yay! Exciting symptom spotting!

Hi girls,

Sorry I've been missing for a while. A lot going on with me at the moment. Bets part though is my and OH have found a new home to live, we'll be moving 6 weeks today Smile

I'm current on CC23, I'm estimating it's about 8dpo and for the last 2 days I have been EXHAUSTED. Admittedly we've been shortstaffed at work ie. lots of running around and over the weekend me and OH decided to cook 4 curries for the 1 day (which involved major prep on Sat and then a full day of cooking/work on Sun). But still you never know... Wink

waves to Shiny hi there, not sure we spoke before I got lost.

Bexamundo · 17/05/2011 12:56

Ok time for symptom spotting my end: all the usual 2ww signs, sore boobs, nausea (but so far no sickness), some cramping, lower back ache (yeah, yeah body don't believe you I've had it all before!) but here's the weird thing: tea tasted funny Hmm. Thought it was my mug at work at first but it's all tea. Been going on for 3/4 days. Am cd21 ?11dpo (bearing in mind my cynicism about FF). Dreamt last night I got a bfp on.a cb digital (but then I saw the 'weeks before your scan' cb ad last night and was shouting at the tv cos she's so annoying!!!). Right, maintain cynical position. Do not get carried about by due dates and saving holiday weeks!!

I'd rather punch her in the face with a large drambuie on ice & jumbo bar of galaxy Grin

Bexamundo · 16/05/2011 20:12

booooooo! to the evil witch!! Punch her in the face with some strong pain killers.

OooohShiny · 16/05/2011 19:44

Oh it's delicious Bex....well worth it for a wee treat Grin

Well that's another month down the pan for me. Started getting cramps this morning and spent the rest of the day checking for blood...not quite here yet but will be in full force tomorrow without a doubt. So I have a day of unbearable cramp and bleeding scheduled for tomorrow and an all day training course when all I'll want to do is curl up in my bed

Bexamundo · 16/05/2011 19:03

Wow honeycomb ice cream sounds awesome! Not for me though, I'm taking losing weight very seriously. I'm gearing up.to go to my Gp about ?pcos but the best thing to help pcos appears to be losing weight so I guess the time is now!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 15/05/2011 21:32

I had honeycomb ice cream too! Yum.

Sympathies to all currently stressing. I don't think I've even ovulated yet, but am already full of secret excited obsession about the fact that I have felt sick all day. Nothing to do with cake for breakfast and an enormous lunch...

OooohShiny · 15/05/2011 21:14

I read those Bex...it's so hard not to get worked up isn't it Blush I swear that next month I will go the pessimistic route Hmm

Anyway, I've cheered myself up tonight by eating a rather large bowl of Mackies honeycomb ice cream Blush

Bexamundo · 15/05/2011 20:05

If you.can see above posts, you will see how worked up I got last cycle! This cycle I am adopting.a cynical approach. Hoping.for an ironic bfp! We have been ttc since Christmas 2009. That sounds like forever ago!

OooohShiny · 15/05/2011 19:48

Hi Cherry It is bloody infuriating isn't it!!!!

Thanks for the welcome everyone :)

I've just started getting lower back pain again on the right hand side - I know AF is going to bloody arrive in the next couple of days and I'll be back at square one again.

I try so hard not to get caught up in symptom spotting as I know it only ends in heartache each month but I've been convinced this month and I know I will take it really hard if there's no BFP

Bexamundo · 15/05/2011 19:10

Hello to cherry!
Yes I cried in.church this morning, my boobs were so sore I had to take pain killers and I just thought I can't stand this, all these symptoms that suggest I'm pregnant but bfn every time! I swear I.never had these when I wasn't ttc!

OP posts:
CherryAddict · 15/05/2011 18:31

Evening girls, i'd like to have a whinge about how annoying it is too! The worst is when you get a bit excited cos of potential symptoms and then you get your period and it totally makes you feel even worse than it would otherwise and no one else around you understands!!! Boo! I hate it!

Phew, feel better now i've got that off my chest!

PatientGriselda · 15/05/2011 18:14

Hello shiny! Don't bother reading all the old posts, it's mainly me and Bex and dizzykipper nattering about sex and boob twinges and how not to get our hopes up too insanely, for about 300 posts!

Sorry I've been quiet this weekend. I've spent half an hour a day having reunion sex (oh ok, 10 mins a day :) ) and the rest of the time fantasising about thrilling bfp moments and things I might do with my baby once I've produced it!

How about you?

OooohShiny · 15/05/2011 17:23

Officially since last April Bex, but was on Depo so although didn't get that injection in April last year I didn't have a period till Jan this year. We didn't want children for so long and I'll be 40 later this year and I've wound myself up so much about wasting time and now think that it will never happen Sad

Bexamundo · 15/05/2011 17:01

Welcome shiny! You're in glad company. How long have you been ttc?
Yes yes sit on your hands until Wednesday.

OP posts:
OooohShiny · 15/05/2011 16:45

Joining in with the 'isn't it annoying' wailing Wink

14dpo, AF due 18th (Wed), have had tender and now v.v sore boobs for over a week now, had very painful cramping and back pain around 5 days ago which has now disappeared and am exhausted.....oh, oh...and I burst into tears watching Colin & Justin's Home Heist on Tuesday Shock

I caved in a did a cheapie test yesterday which was neg Sad - I do have a CB test somewhere but I'm so pissed off with testing each month that I'm ignoring it calling to me from the bathroom and refusing to entertain testing again till Wed at the earliest.

Now going to go and read everyone's posts

Bexamundo · 15/05/2011 16:25

Hello ladies, how's your weekend been? I've mostly been decorating! Done the stripping, new skirting, ceiling painted so got a fair way! Things between Dh and me are improving. I've got magnesium supplements again (I'd run out) so hopefully I'll find my mood stabilises. Been quite tearful, mood swings. Boobs incredibly sore but as I say been here before so I remain cynical about chances of a bfp. Chart so looks ok so all jot lost yet, just keeping cynical to not build up false hope.
Just kicking back enjoying a cheeky cider watching the Villa play. Now I'm glad Dh persuaded me to get sky sports!
