There's only one question on my mind: Am I pregnant? Did it happen this time? But no-one can tell me! Am only 5dpo so def no way of telling. Sitting symptom spotting and troughing down mini eggs thinking, could be pg/likely to be pms. Not even like I expect anyone to be able to give any advice or look into crystal balls...just wanted to say on here, I find it quite annoying. Roll on next week...

Are you still waiting till Friday or planning to do it sooner, then? We could do it together on Thursday, except if you got a positive and I didn't I would have to hunt you down and beat you with several pee-soaked sticks before sobbing convulsively on your doorstep congratulate you heartily.

DizzyKipper · 19/04/2011 16:26

btw I got tests with 10mIU sensitivity from accessdiagnostics. And re-checking the test packaging I just realised the test I did on Sat came back as invalid, not negative - wooo a brand new thing to obsess about.

DizzyKipper · 19/04/2011 16:23

hehe that sounds familiar.
I check the different pregnancy test sensitivities from this web link www.babyhopes.com/pregnancy-test-sensitivity-comparison.html - being the not at all obsessive or impatient type, I like to use the most sensitive possible Wink
Got a new symptom to add, slightly constipated - if that was from being pregnant it would mean the egg would have implanted, which would mean I could test sooner...

PatientGriselda · 19/04/2011 16:14

Clearblue something. The one that's on special offer in Waitrose (I went out on the pretext of buying milk, so didn't have time to go further afield to the realms of cheapness). I will try again on Thursday AND NOT BEFORE.

DizzyKipper · 19/04/2011 15:53

What test did you use? I think it would still be worth testing again - once you've allowed a little more time for the hCG levels to build up (if they are that is). I think I read that on average they double about every 48hours or so.

PatientGriselda · 19/04/2011 13:57

Will give it a couple of days. I am wearing a white skirt so I expect af will be along this afternoon.

Bexamundo · 19/04/2011 13:39

I did that last cycle! Evaporation line I guess. Well if af doesn't show test again, light just be too early?! I don't get that flexibility. Af will arrive bang on cue, or not..still sick to my stomach!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 19/04/2011 13:29

Well on balance I think negative. But there was the faintest of lines after 3 minutes. So faint that I suspect I should ignore, really. It was a kind of blink and you can't see it any more/definitely doesn't show up on a photo sort of thing. And the instruction was to read within 2 mins anyway. I am kidding myself, I know. But I have never even managed an imaginary line before, so in that sense it's quite diverting.

Bexamundo · 19/04/2011 12:55

What's the verdict?

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 19/04/2011 08:38

Hahaha. My nocturnal weeing must surely be why temping has never worked for me!

Right. I shall ignore this morning's depressing slight twinges (it's NOT pre-menstrual, it's NOT) and go and buy a test.

Bexamundo · 19/04/2011 08:34

Go for it! Think you can try now. Mine was at highest so far this cycle but I did get up to wee at 4.45!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 19/04/2011 08:05

How is your temp this morning, Bex?

I am on day 40 now and really think it wouldn't be unreasonable to test. If only I had had one in the house this morning! Still, if I buy one at lunchtime and it's negative, at least icanconvince myself it's because it wasn't first morning urine.

Bexamundo · 19/04/2011 06:50

I'm going to know in the morning I reckon, looking back at charts that's the day my temp dropped before, 2 days before af due. Still feel sick! Woke up, thought 'mmm feel ok' then it suddenly hit me. Bleurgh!

OP posts:
DizzyKipper · 18/04/2011 21:45

Yeah that's the one, had an endoscopy (from top end!) and they determined the little flap infront of my stomach doesn't close properly - sometimes get sicky feelings (or actual sick) because of it.

Whenever I want to do another test I keep trying to tell myself it will be a lot better waiting and giving the hCG time to build up - no point testing when you'd be likely to get a false negaitive anyway. But it is difficult to resist though. Have just moved test date up to Friday though as future MIL wants me and OH to go out to a pub with her - well it gives me a valid excuse to test earlier anyway Wink

Bexamundo · 18/04/2011 21:29

Gastro oesphageal reflux disease?
I have Ibs so nausea/bloating is normal for me. Keep telling myself it's different this month. Not usually this nauseous for this long, even with Ibs. I'm also not very bloated...aargh there's a FR sitting in the cupboard. I will not break!

OP posts:
fusam · 18/04/2011 21:27

Right there with you, have sore boobs but am pretty sure it's from constantly checking them over the last week. Tested today (negative) even though I'm not due until Sunday Hmm. Need to put the last unused test somewhere safe because I know I will just get up tomorrow morning and use it.

PatientGriselda · 18/04/2011 21:19

What's GERD? Sorry to hear about it, as it involves sickness :(

DizzyKipper · 18/04/2011 21:10

I have 9 ultra tests in the house, it would be so easy to do another test - but so pointless at the same time! I just keep thinking "maybe it's implanted and will show by now"...
Hearing some one else talk about my nausea kinda makes me feel like it's been bigged up a bit, that and I have GERD - so getting nausea/reaching isn't actually all that unusual for me. I still feel better knowing it's there though :s

PatientGriselda · 18/04/2011 20:25

Much like my extreme tiredness last night. I was quite excited till I realised it was 11.30pm. Oddly enough, after a good night's sleep, that's another symptom which has mysteriously vanished :D

Bexamundo · 18/04/2011 19:54

It eased off when I had a rennie! :s

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 18/04/2011 19:30

If I had a test I would be doing it tomorrow, dizzy, but wretched DP dragged me past the relevant aisle in the supermarket, so of course I had to pretend to be all sensible and not really bothered that THERE ISN'T A TEST IN THE HOUSE.

Is it mad that I am actually jealous of you both for having nausea? (yes)

DizzyKipper · 18/04/2011 18:30

hehe and I of course would never notice anything in such keen detail Wink Will you be testing on Sat as well PatientGriselda?

Anyone lost restraint and tested yet? I keep trying to rationalise why it's ok for me to test before Sat (which in itself is 2-5 days before expected AF), especially since the nausea feeling I had on Sat has subsided a bit Sad

Bexamundo · 18/04/2011 18:00

ha ha laughing out loud at the nipples on the shower! I remain mega nauseous.

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 18/04/2011 15:50

In the shower. Not on it. Which somehow sounds rude. Though I'm not sure why.

PatientGriselda · 18/04/2011 15:49

I had fractionally twingey nipples on the shower this morning. Nothing to do with the fact that it was a cold room and hot water and accidental overwnthusiasm with the flannel, of course. I just wish I could turn my mind off from thinking about it at every little potential twinge.
