There's only one question on my mind: Am I pregnant? Did it happen this time? But no-one can tell me! Am only 5dpo so def no way of telling. Sitting symptom spotting and troughing down mini eggs thinking, could be pg/likely to be pms. Not even like I expect anyone to be able to give any advice or look into crystal balls...just wanted to say on here, I find it quite annoying. Roll on next week...

Mm, it's weird - before I got with OH I never even wanted kids - was always frightened I'd be an awful mum and just end up screwing them up. Ever since I got with him I've been taken over by these powerful, instinctive desires to procreate Shock. Plus he's given me the confidence to think maybe I won't be such a terrible mum after all (although I'm sure that's not what they'll be telling me when I don't allow them sweets before bedtime or something! lol).
Been with him about 3 1/2 years now, time to stop waiting and start being a mum methinks!

Bexamundo · 23/04/2011 12:50

Well it's encouraging that the evil witch still hadn't turned up! I tried to garden, done about 45 mins now feel awful so chilling with some water. May drum up energy to wash car...

Hahaha at " nursery spare room"

Yes, ttc#1 here too. Together 7 years and trying since end of 2009. Have got first infertility consultant appointment at the end of next month, so hopefully I will have one of those ironic bfps now instead!

DizzyKipper · 23/04/2011 12:37

Working from 3, just doing a little housework and relaxation til then.
Will also be continuing to try and delude myself that hopefully this could be the one, and will continue to recount how many days I have left to get through til AH arrives (today and tomorrow)

And yes ttc #1 here too.

Bexamundo · 23/04/2011 12:00

Just weighed myself and found I gained 4lb since Thursday. That's 2lb per boob then.

Realised I have no idea: are we all ttc baby #1? Dh and I have been together 4 years married 2.5. Started ttc Christmas 2010 when Dnephew was 4 months old and Dh realised if Dnephew loved him (and trust me, his uncle is his favourite person!) Maybe he would be an ok dad. So it's been 16 months and I think 17 cycles but we can't count a couple cos last May we argued all month and didn't dtd! :s and with the stress didn't try from Feb to now (officially) cos the stress was getting to us and we needed a break. If it isn't a bfp will be actively trying every other day [buhmm] once the evil witch has left!

Outwardly: cut edges, go to b&q to buy strimmer, finish tidying nurseryspare room, have a nap to recharge wire to prepare for (sober) night out with work.
inwardly: think foetus with names already chosen, and all the others you said!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 23/04/2011 10:11

Outwardly: paint shed, mow lawn, buy things for Easter lunch tomorrow, make summer pudding.

Inwardly: choose baby names, decorate an imaginary nursery, write a birthplan, attempt purely through the power of my mind to hold off period!

What about you?

Bexamundo · 23/04/2011 10:03

Boobs spilling out of vest top!
Griselda you have a lot if patience as your name says! Feels like you've been expecting af forever!
Dh is a bit rough but loves me muchly for buying him chocolate hobnobs!
What are your plans for today ladies?

OP posts:
DizzyKipper · 23/04/2011 09:37

1 more day to get through and you can test Griselda Smile

PatientGriselda · 23/04/2011 06:28

Brilliant news about the boobs and high temp, Bex. Managed to avoid testing this morning, but there's still no hint of blood, which is good.

I hope your DH isn't too hungover this morning! And that Dizzy's curry turned up.

Bexamundo · 23/04/2011 05:50

Managed to turn him on his side and we both slept then. Just tested, bfn however temp is still high (15 in a row) so jury is still out. Was v excited by a line til I realised it was wrong way round! Dam evaporation line!!

Sounds annoying, although the change in boob size and comfort sounds positive , hopefully this month is your month. ~still waiting for curry, now eating toffee crisp~ :s

Bexamundo · 23/04/2011 01:05

Grr Dh has come back from night out straight to bed. Swinging between snoring and not breathing :s worrying. My boobs have doubled in size and um so.uncomfortable I've moved on to sofa bed. He will get an earful tomorrow! Going to.try and sleep now. Glad you had a good night dizzy

Nah, I don't think anything is fixed really, we're all individuals and affected differently by the hormones, not even our month by month cycles are necessarily standard. Not to say that it couldn't reasonably be expected from cd24, but just don 't expect it - I'd rather rely on experience of my cycles (which I know for me are bang on 28days, therefore the 29th day ergo Monday is a reasonable day to expect AH).

Am now back home and looking forward to a curry after a night out Smile Work tomorrow from 3 Hmm

Bexamundo · 22/04/2011 19:29

Worst thing is Dh is out so I'm on my own! Cackled at the 'boobs in the other hand' comment, text from my friend and My name is Earl.

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 22/04/2011 19:27

I though the 14 day thing from ovulation to period was pretty well fixed. So if you did ovulate on cd10, then I would say af could reasonably be expected from cd24.

PatientGriselda · 22/04/2011 19:26

~ Backs away quietly, smiling placatingly ~

Come on Dizzy, the nice lady needs some rest now!

DizzyKipper · 22/04/2011 19:20

~imagining Bex cackling in a corner to herself~ Grin

Bexamundo · 22/04/2011 19:09

Ps I'm laughing at every! Why do things seem so funny? I'm like, proper cackling!

OP posts:
Bexamundo · 22/04/2011 18:58

Also, more of a musing than a genuine question: if I really did ovulate on cd10, and FF thinks Af is due today, is cd27 still the day af should be due? Or am I 'late' from.today? Not sure about this charting it's doing my head in!

OP posts:
Bexamundo · 22/04/2011 18:43

Why oh why am I still embarrassed to buy pee sticks?! I'm happily married and trying for a baby!!!!
Dh has lost hope due to the first response claims of %effectiveness and bfn. Talking about next month with much enthusiasm though which is encouraging -he's been off sex since he started getting depressed, around the year of trying mark. But hey af still not lurking (she hopes desperately!)

OP posts:
DizzyKipper · 22/04/2011 18:17

lol I still loo paper check, just in case. And yes, any sickness definitely counts hehe

And I guess I've lost hope because I know realistically it's not likely - I've been feeling a bit off for a week now, however I know once you get pregnant hcg levels are meant to start at 5mIU and then double on average every 48 hours - my preg test at 10mIU sensitivity should easily have been able to pick it up after 6 days. Think I've been disappointed too many times before, and maybe I'm having a bit of a grumpy bastard day?

Hopefully life will decide to surprise me - maybe a new tactic to employ? Wink

PatientGriselda · 22/04/2011 18:04

Oh God don't talk to me about obsessive loo paper checking! And I'm wearing all my white knickers in rotation as well, for ease of inspection. God how grim.

Why have you lost hope, dizzy??

Bexamundo · 22/04/2011 17:46

Wait it's Easter so [buwink]
