There's only one question on my mind: Am I pregnant? Did it happen this time? But no-one can tell me! Am only 5dpo so def no way of telling. Sitting symptom spotting and troughing down mini eggs thinking, could be pg/likely to be pms. Not even like I expect anyone to be able to give any advice or look into crystal balls...just wanted to say on here, I find it quite annoying. Roll on next week...

Ah, boo :(. That's rubbish. Wonder why it's so long?
My temp is still above the cover line...

PatientGriselda · 24/04/2011 06:28

BFN, sadly. On CD 45.

Bexamundo · 23/04/2011 23:25

I won't test tomorrow but feel convinced temp will drop.
Need to add toothache to symptoms!

Hmm, now I know if I do a pregnancy test tomorrow it will almost certainly come back negative, which will bum me out. And with AH due on Monday I know really I should just wait, have AH arrive, and say "I knew it!". But why am I still thinking about taking another test tomorrow? Argh, it's all so pointless, need to just wait, why do I try to taunt myself by taking more tests?

DizzyKipper · 23/04/2011 22:25

lol the googling "positive pregnancy test" made me laugh as I do pretty much the same thing, over and over.

And hi Byrnsie, welcome Smile Obsessing is much better when you can do it as a group, it then just becomes totally normal behaviour Wink

And I'm 25, OH is 26 -wanting to have all 4 kids by 30 so got a lot of work to do over the next few years :s

btw good luck for the test tomorrow Griselda, what CD you on again?

Bexamundo · 23/04/2011 22:18

Oh dear I'm.home already. Meal was mediocre then they headed to a very noisy bar and I couldn't face it. Couldn't FACE it! I'm either ill, old or pregnant!
Griselda Praying for the nicer result!

Hey Griselda,
I have the expensive digital ones - only to be used when almost certain I'll get a positive, but when the line on the others is iffy! The things we do eh?

PatientGriselda · 23/04/2011 20:17

Thanks Byrnsie. Will see what happens. I have deliberately got tests with pink dye this time, so I can see if the invisibly faint shadow I saw last time was evaporation or something more exciting.

Byrnsie30 · 23/04/2011 19:55

good luck for tomorrow PatientGriselda x

PatientGriselda · 23/04/2011 19:25

I know the feeling. I have been dreading going to the loo, in case I see blood. I bet I get up tomorrow, head off to the loo to test, and then encounter af in full flow.

Have a great time out tonight.

Bexamundo · 23/04/2011 18:43

I'm honestly not too bad! Obviously sound worse than I feel. I always have health issues and would willingly take all this for a baby!
Don't worry I've been looking at bfp images on FF and thinking 'I don't see it, maybe tests the problem with the ones I've done.' If no bfp or af by Tuesday will buy s digital 'pregnant'/'not pregnant' so there's no doubts.
Dreading checking temp in.am in.case it drops.
Torrents of rain here too and I'm going out!

PatientGriselda · 23/04/2011 18:21

Poor old Bex, you do sound rotten. The B&Q trip sounded good though. My local one has a massive Mothercare next door, which is always good for a longing glance through the window!

Torrential rain outside. I am lying on my bed image googling "positive pregnancy test". Yes, this is completely bonkers.

Bexamundo · 23/04/2011 17:14

I have been to b &q and chosen nice gender neutral wallpaper (and identified gorgeous Winnie the pooh for statement wall in future!). Getting ready to go out for a work leaving do while wishing I could just crawl into bed.
I had crazy dreams last night like stuff falling on me and waking with heart pounding. Am limiting caffeine and not drinking tonight (just in case!)

Been properly trying since Jan, but when I went to doc when I was PG she thought I was about 6 wk preggers. I MC'd a few days later and we had a 6 wk break so been trying properly again since March. I'm a very impatient person! I will probably bankrupt myself buying tests!
How long is it for you?

PatientGriselda · 23/04/2011 14:58

...giving myself over entirely to the other list.

PatientGriselda · 23/04/2011 14:57

As for our to do lists, so far I have managed the shopping trip and the summer pudding making, and have got the lawnmower out, but since then have just sat in the garden giving myself

PatientGriselda · 23/04/2011 14:55

Hi Byrnsie! Yes do join in - we're just nattering, and could do with someone else in the mix, to give us ideas for fresh things to obsess over to keep things interesting. How long have you been doing this for? By te way, I am particularly impressed with your test stash.

I have added vivid dreams to my list. Nothing at all to do with rich food late at night at all. Definitely not.

Byrnsie30 · 23/04/2011 14:54

Well my obsessing includes not eating/drinking anything which may be off limts on the off chance I may be PG. Also, after my early MC in Jan I did some obsessive research about beauty products and I now vary my body lotion and shower gel so as not to get too much of one ingredient!!

I am currently symptom spotting and have so far noticed/imagined fatigue, very slight nausea in morning (could also be hunger!), spotty face (prob pre-menstral!) and slight sensitivity in stomach area!! Oh dear!

Bexamundo · 23/04/2011 14:24

Hello, welcome Byrnsie. We'll need you to be very specific about the obsessing, it helps us all.
To add to my symptoms today, dry mouth and shaky hands. Dry mouth can't be due to dehydration. Nope, not that!

Byrnsie30 · 23/04/2011 14:09

Hi all,
Hope it's OK to join your conversation.
I'm ttc #1 and I too am in middle of 2WW. I've tested once so far (bfn) (yesterday, 6 days before expected period)
I have been symptom spotting too and have made myself promise not to test today - I am determine to wait til tomorrow, although I have all sorts of tests in the house (ones for 6 days early, one for 5 days early and a couple of digital 4 days early, as well as a cheap box from Wilkos (2 for £2) only to be done after a missed period!!) Talk about prepared/ obsessed!!
Hope all of you have some luck. I was PG in Jan but miscarried v early. Reading this conversation has made me feel less silly for obsessing!

Bexamundo · 23/04/2011 14:07

*dizzy think we overlapped! Dh's parents were not the best and it worries him he'll turn out like that too. He's nothing like them! Bless him.
I've always been maternal just waited for right man/right time.
How old is everyone? I'm 29 and Dh is 26 (whippersnapper). I'm 30 in August. Wanted first baby before I'm 30 but willing to adjust plans and have baby when I'm 30!

OP posts:
Bexamundo · 23/04/2011 13:24

Been looking at charts on FF with early ovulation/ late +hpt convincing myself it's still possible. Happily having a siesta watching 'Singing in the rain'!

OP posts:
Bexamundo · 23/04/2011 13:02

*agree not three!!! And a neutral colour. Oh dear!

OP posts:
Bexamundo · 23/04/2011 12:56

In terms of the nurseryspare room got Dh to three to decorate it un neutral colour so when baby arrives can just add border to match! Off to.b&q to chose later :)

DizzyKipper · 23/04/2011 12:54

Does sound encouraging so far bex, although hopefully once BFP is confirmed the symptoms will subside and you won't feel so awful anymore.
