One bean with hb of 175 measuring spot on for dates, 8+3 Grin Grin Grin

Consultant was lovely, was shocked at lack of any extra care this pg. He couldn't believe we hadn't seen anyone at all after the mc and that I hadn't been booked in for consultant care this time. I think I might ring my uncooperative mws and raise that again with them tomorrow but not expecting any miracles. However lovely consultant also does a clinic at the nhs hospital so he says he will scan me at his nhs clinic at 16 weeks to stop me going mad regardless of whether I'm under mw or consultant care Grin

So, first hurdle over with...and thank you for all the virtual hand-holding, it really did help xx

banana87 · 19/04/2011 18:07

Cep Yay for a good scan!

Izzy Fingers crossed for you too.

Pink That's happened to my iphone too. Do you have insurance? A quick swap got me a brand new one :)

Hope all the sickies are feeling ok. I need slapping. I have not been feeling great but not horrid, so convinced its all over. I am also in a bit of a (huge) state because I haven't been taking my anti-anxiety meds and therefore feel like I have fallen off the ledge. Did not get out of bed for 4 days, have been contemplating termination due to how crap I feel (totally NOT like me), and basically feel like I am dying. A little OTT but it's how I feel. Anyway, DH forced the pills down me yesterday and took me out for the day and I've been out today too. He is off now for a week so we will be doing day trips all over to get me out. And I do feel better for it so now of course I am thinking thats it, it's over. Keep reminding myself I have seen the hb at 7 weeks, past "my time" and reading how your symptoms are coming/going is keeping me uplifted. Ugh. I hate hate hate feeling like this. Sorry for major me me me.

Hi I hope you don't mind me popping in but Collie mentioned on the just mc and ttc thread that this might be a good place to get some reassurance!

Quick retell of my story - I mc in Nov at 5+5 with brown spotting from when i tested positive and for the next week till mc.
I found out last Mon that I was pg again. No spotting so thought maybe in with a chance of it working. But maybe not! On Sunday (at exactly 5 weeks) the brown spotting started again-mainly after loo but also enough in day to need a pad. Also one bit of bright red on Sunday. It has been only brown since with some cramps but not bad ones.

It does seem exactly like last time so am expecting it to all end in the next week or so, especially cos the timing is the same. I'm 36 and have no dc yet -started to think bad things about my eggs!

I suppose i just wondered if anyone had had anything similar happen and still had a good outcome. The number of single magpies I have seen in the last 3 days has not helped my freaking out either! Grin

So good to hear of so many happy scans-just hope I'll have one too at some point xxx

MummyAbroad · 19/04/2011 17:29

was going to say "hang in there izzy" but you are probably getting scanned right now or on your way. Will chew my nails on your behalf. Good luck! xxx

Yay yay yay cep !!! Sounds like a fantastic scan!! Grin Grin

I feel absolutely sick with nerves here, really wishing I'd booked a morning appointment...

Sorry for crap post and lack of name-checking, in a complete mentalling state right now Smile

Collie2 · 19/04/2011 15:52

I am soooooooo pleased it went well!!! Will you please now stop stressing just a little now?? Smile Bean sounds lovely jumping for his mummy!! so happy for you, you can now relax and enjoy the weekend.

Have just woken up from nap (but still working obv Blush ) and feel soooo much better.

Pink oh no your poor iphone. i work with a clumsy bloke who has done this twice already. You can buy the screens off ebay and replace them quite easily (aparently - I however can barely figure iTunes out!!)

PinkFondantFancy · 19/04/2011 15:26

CEP fab news on your scan!

PinkFondantFancy · 19/04/2011 15:24

I have developed a dangerous chewit addiction- 5 packets for £1 at WH Smiths....

I deposed my iPhone earlier and when I picked it up I thought "Oooh that's a pretty cobweb stuck on it..." it is in fact not a cobweb but a completely destroyed screen Blush d-oh!! Am planning to Sellotape it back together this afternoon but not sure if I can live with the shame of owning the most embarrassingly clearly knackered phone!!

cep · 19/04/2011 15:06

afternoon ladies.

scan went fine. little bean waving an arm and gave a huge bounce. which i have to admit melted my resolve to stay detached, my heart gave a huge jolt with it, so i'm lost now. Even though i know i'll be scared come next scan right now i'm chilled. they initially measured it at 10+6 but then it moved and was 11+1 i still think it's 11+3, just think it was being akward like it's daddy.

izzy keeping fx for you hon.

congrats bbb so pleased for you.

Awww - Ladies, I love you sooo much! In fact I did sneeze last night and it killed! Thanks for reassuring me. I have never been so glad to be beaten on the head with a kipper / haddock / swordfish...

Just had the meeting from hell with the vilest director I have ever come across in my life. In group meetings she's always effing rude and sarcastic to me only! (not paranoid, promise). I don't report to her but she always stresses me.... can't wait for the next few weeks to pass when I can hopefully say to her "well guess what you bitter and twisted cow, am PG so eff you!" HA - that will show her!

Where is news of today's scans?!

xx

owlbooty · 19/04/2011 14:34

And, you wait til you get a bit further along and cough or laugh without realising you're going to. OW OW OW stabby pain. :)

BBB good luck with getting hold of the magical drugs; I hope it's not too hard to find some sensible person to hand them over.

katherine2008 · 19/04/2011 14:33

lara i had quite bad cramps through to 8 weeks - and did with dd (now 2.6). congrats and good luck x

MummyAbroad · 19/04/2011 14:06

lara I had LOADS of cramps in the first three weeks, it has settled down a lot since then. Owl is right, it is a normal healthy symptom of being properly diffed Smile
