Babe don't get The Fear. Sit down and eat your cake properly or you'll get indigestion. Smile

Thanks everyone!

Onions so sorry not to reply yesterday, good news on NT results!

Banana my pee is yellow too however much I drink, I'm blaming the multivits I'm taking. I'd see the GP only if it's burny and UTIish!

Yarnie symptoms coming and going is absolutely normal - though stressful. So sorry to hear of your loss last year Sad

Minnie, I'm on tinned peaches (as pudding after my potato waffles!)

to everyone else and leaves wedding cake, choose from the three tiers, chocolate sponge, carrot or fruit cake! [cgrin]

blackkat and onions yay so pleased for you.

Velvetcu · 29/04/2011 10:26

Yay for blackkat scan and onions NT results. Sorry about the dav tho!

Hello yarnie try not to worry, as others have said sometimes symptoms come and go.

Our friends have lent us their Doppler I've had a good listen to a lovely hb this morning :)

I didn't want to watch the royal wedding but I'm quite enjoying it now dh has put it on

IreneHeron · 29/04/2011 09:55

Banana I'm about the same. Drinking loads and weeing hardly at all, just dribbles. The doctor will only say drink more, you're dehydrated. I think you just need lots of water in pregnancy. I'm not worried about it.

Wombat I'm ridiculously excited by the Royal Wedding, it has completely taken me by surprise because I'm normally a cynical old boot. Is it pregnancy hormones?

banana87 · 29/04/2011 09:01

blackat Yay for a great scan! Add yourself to that list now! :)

Yarnie I am having coming and going symptoms too and I am 9 1/2 weeks now. One minute I feel ok and the next I am really sick. Try not to worry (she says, worrying).

Question: I drink about 1L of water a day (apx), and keep it down. BUT I only wee twice a day and it is VERY yellow and strong smelling. Should I phone the dr about trying to go in for some fluids? I would drink more but I am too nauseated despite the pills.

PinkFondantFancy · 29/04/2011 07:12

Minnie I had the same thing-hadto eat constantly but unlike some of these healthy girls it wasn't fruit but complete junk that I wouldn't normally touch like crisps and scotch pancakes and cake and sweets. Weirdly I lost a little bit of weight in the first trimester. I was initally confused but I think what happened is that although it was junk I wasn't really eating much of it, just grazing so overall was prob eating less than normal. Have you tried tinned pears? They worked a treat for me, felt comforting to eat and didn't make me want to puke.

wiw I did gets cheeky scan! :D their scanners aren't really designed for pregnancy scans though so not good enough to see what flavour booooooo. Pink bean was being very sweet though so all good. I dint think I was bothered about knowing the flavour but now the NHS have told me they WON'T say, I've got the hell in and am desperate to know!!!

Enjoy today and the lovely long weekend nice people xxxx

wombatinwaiting · 29/04/2011 07:03

Thrilled for you blackkat - what great news and I know what you mean about the relief - my knees nearly buckled when I stepped off the couch!

Interesting pink about your nkc and glad to hear that was the last one. Did you get a cheeky scan too?

I'm the same as you minnie with the eating to stop myself feeling sick and have been worried too about the weight gain. I do find I only need something small to tide me over and fruit seems to work for me.... can't get enough oranges right now.

Waves to all in a regal fashion - enjoy the nuptials - I'm sooooo excited!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 28/04/2011 22:44

dachs and onions fab news

So sorry if i've missed anyone else

tiggersreturn · 28/04/2011 22:12

Yarnie - I mcd 2 years ago at apparently 5+6 but symptoms only showed at 10 weeks. I have ds aged 4. I am now pg with twins and had very few symptoms at all apart from the ones you mentioned above until week 10 when we moved house which was completely exhausting. It then seemed to improve and then I started really vomiting about a week later and it got much worse. I can't tell you definitively one way or another that it will be ok but because of miscarrying every symptom or lack thereof that you would have formerly overlooked will seem significant to you whether it is or isn't. I hope the scan yields good results and temporarily sets your mind at rest.

Just redoing the list as my scan date changed.

Hi!

blackkat thanks for the kick up the bum about work- i think i'm still in denial that this will really work out this time. Some people at work know now and have also given me big arse kicks! Good luck with the scan tomorrow x

wombat great news. It must be so exciting finding out the sex of little wombatbean. You are also right about work. I consider myself told! Blush for being a muppet. Even my boss said 'this is just a job-your health is more important!'

mummya congrats on the new job, i'm sure it'll all work out great.

harrassed hi and congrats if i didn't say it on the other thread-it's nervewracking starting again isn't it. I can't believe i've made it past my danger day to 6 weeks!

Managed to get to the docs yesterday and she gave me antibiotics cos she thought i'd probably be better knowing i was getting rid of the problem after last time.

Have felt pretty sick for the last two days. Only seem to stop feeling sick if i'm eating! Is this normal and if it is- how the hell do i not end up quadrupling in size in the first 12 weeks?! [cconfused]

MummyAbroad · 28/04/2011 20:52

yay BlackKat yay!

Blackkat · 28/04/2011 17:33

Quick post. Just home. Seen the heart beat and measurements match my dates. Hugely relieved. I don't think I'd ever been more nervous in my life.

Have also been to tell my parents the good news, and, typically, my mum had already guessed! My Dad is made up. Grin.

Will add myself to the list when I've calmed down a bit.

katherine2008 · 28/04/2011 17:12

yarnie my symptoms totally disappeared at 9 weeks and I feared the worst, but after a scan showed all was well, my symptoms came back. Not as bad as they had been, but they came back. Try not to worry too much.

chuffed to bits for dachs and yay for onions nuchal results (very jealous, I wish I had mine out of the way!). Get better soon.

Great news about mummya's job.

harassed glad that you are feeling better today. it's tough this pregnancy lark!

Enjoy the wedding everyone. I have just gone bananas in the M&S food hall - looking forward to our party!

harassedinherpants · 28/04/2011 15:55

Hello!!

Thought I'd stay after my freaking out yesterday....[cblush].

Dachs brilliant news on your scan!! How very clever of you [cgrin].

Wombat congratulations!

Pink good to hear you're safe now.

onions sounds awful, hope you feel better soon.

Irene that sounds blissful......... am a tad jealous.

Yarnie sorry to hear you're worried. I was freaking out yesterday and my mw told me it was very normal for symptoms to come and go. Hope it's good news for you x

Today is tough!! I'm 5+1 today, and it was 5 weeks ago yesterday that I had mc no. 2......at 5+1. Will be glad to get safely through the day......

After panicking about vanishing soreness of boobs, they're back to being sore! Phew. Mind you that could be where I keep giving them a quick squish to check [cblush]. Tough this being prg after mc, but have to say I'm looking forward to a lovely long weekend to relax, chill out and spend time with dh and dd.

Yarnie · 28/04/2011 15:44

Hello all,

I posted on a different thread and your delightfully aptly named thread was recommended to me.

I'm 7 weeks pregnant and have only had mild pregnancy symptoms: slightly sore boobs, bloating, some constipation, twinges and pulls in my uterus and noticeable tiredness. The mildness is not concerning. I had mild symptoms with my first pregnancy and I am lucky enough to have a DS aged 2. However, yesterday evening my symptoms stopped very suddenly.

I had a MMC in November last year. The baby died at 7 weeks, but I didn't start bleeding until 10 weeks. I wasn't paying so much attention to my symptoms in my last pregnancy, but I did notice that my symptoms had gone a day or two before I started bleeding.

Obviously, I am very, very anxious that I am miscarrying again.

Has anyone else experienced this, and what was the outcome.

I have a scan booked for next Thursday (booked some time ago, not because of my current concerns), so I may as well wait it out, I suppose...

IreneHeron · 28/04/2011 15:34

Lara you can't go wrong with a shed, I'm a big fan of them whether a tool shed or a place to have a cuppa. Perhaps it is the gardener in me.

Onions [sidles away fearing germs] hope you feel better. Glad you got a good nuchal result. Mine's not come yet, but they say the longer the wait the better the news.

Pink that's good news, glad they think you're in the safe zone now.

Had a lovely morning on the beach. DS was happy playing with his little friend and we were watching the gannets diving for fish. It is so nice to live by the beach. It is so new to us as we only moved here in October and it is the first time the weather has turned summery.

DoubleDiffedDachs · 28/04/2011 15:09

wiggle those t-shirts are FAB! I've had to order some... I had no choice. Grin

onions hope you feel better soon

pink glad to hear it was your last one and they think you are 'safe' now. How's the house hunt going?

banana87 · 28/04/2011 14:57

Just a quick one to say congrats to Dachs on b/g! How lovely!!

onions Hope you are feeling better soon, cannot imagine D&V on top of MS!

Feeling queasy so going to lay back down now. Hope everyone is ok. Roll on MS sickness going away (pretty please)...

PinkFondantFancy · 28/04/2011 14:52

Hello all I am 2000 calories up on where I was this morning but because none of it has touched my stomach I'm staaaaeving!! wiw it's because I've got an elevated natural killer cell which can cause problems in early pregnancy, but they've found that this fat infusion reduces its effects. They've decided I'm far enough along now to not need it anymore so today was my last one!

onions sorry you're ill, that sounds grim!!

Hope everyone has a fab long weekend! I'll defo be watching the wedding-I love weddings!!!!
