oh Jolls you sound so pragmatic but it must be gutting. Good news in that something 'happened' but you clearly want a sticky bean - and you deserve one. I remember our DHEA discussion from before. Go for it!
Thanks to Hippy Diege and others for offering to have a quiet fight word with dp. He's all over the shop at the moment. This morning he woke up at 5.45, wanted to make mad, passionate love, then stared into my face and said, 'I don't want to keep trying for a baby. We can't move on from this while we keep trying'. It's pure broodiness, not lack of commitment I think, that seems to be making him behave so bizarrely. It was a real relief to hear him say it, even though I'm still making plans. I'm getting the tests for my own natural DHEA before starting a course, and I should start it sooner rather than later.
On another note - my ds may be ghastly to me, and may be about to fail his A Levels, but his Sixth Form Head has just sent an email in response to my wailing/gnashing of teeth, telling me that he is such a lovely boy, so agreeable and charming, that he must have had a great upbringing and is bound to be successful at work! I'm still rubbing the bruises from when I fell off my chair. Is he worried I might be thinking of suing the school?
Great to hear all the good news you're having - ok, as well as the shite. Houses, babies, holidays, weight loss. It's all happening. Keep it coming, people, I need to hear it. Is there place for a nosy one in the helicopter? I can bring a box of Kleenex in case of blubbing and a sick bag for Diege?
