Sorry to hear you're feeling Sad melies. I know what you mean about feeling like an idiot...if I manage to hold on to this bean it will be my first and before I first started TTC I thought having a baby would be the simplest thing in the world. So naive. There's still hope this month isn't there?

Good luck loup, fingers crossed for you too.

All OK here I think...so far anyway. I get pretty panicky when I don't feel any symptoms but in the afternoons I feel awful, sick and tired, am hoping that's a good sign. I'd give anything to actually throw up...ridiculous isn't it

Loup23 · 07/05/2011 10:41

melies sorry to hear about af, and your sadness re ttc - can the GP offer any advice, are you using a monitor at all? I really thought I'd be having a baby this year but its just so hard! Good luck and big hugs.

I'm officially on the 2ww although will dtd tonight as well as still on peak day 2. Am so hoping it works this time. Any others on 2ww? Must make it to 10dpo without testing!

Waves hello to all others - how are you feeling bump?

olismum23 · 07/05/2011 09:58

I took my basal body temp this morning and it was not even on my chart it was so low 35.34 or something like that which has been attributed to thyroid function so going to go to the docs on monday to get a test to get it checked. It may be a reason for a lot of my problems.

Im sorry melies hope you fell better soon.

meliesmummy · 07/05/2011 09:03

Pale brown cm here which means af tomorrow or Monday :(. I'm thinking I need to take a step back now, tcc has taken up nearly a year of my life and I can't carry on obsessing about it otherwise I won't know where it ends iykwim. I'll console myself by thinking at least I didn't waste any money on tests and I'm having a textbook cycle I think! And wine and takeaway tomorrow (working tonight), and the mooncup wasn't a waste of money!

OP posts:
olismum23 · 06/05/2011 18:40

melies please dont feel bad about feeling bad iykwim. All i can say is i feel the same it took me 14mths to fall pregnant with DS and i have been trying since he was born 2yrs 3mths it was 2 years inbetween him and MC and its not happening any quicker now. I took DS to a play center yesterday and a 6mth old baby came in DS kept saying "baby" i broke down and went home. :(

cep · 06/05/2011 17:33

oh mel sweetie, am so sorry you're feeling low. i know staying positive is so hard, it took me longer to get pg with the one i lost than with ds. could you maybe go to the dr's and talk to them about it, although i know down here they don't do anything till you've been trying for a yr, and i was told that it would start from the mc as i did get pg. Obviously don't know what the rules are near you.

meliesmummy · 06/05/2011 17:17

Afternoon ladies.

I'm feeling :( this afternoon. I really think this month is a loss, I'm thinking that as it's a year next month since we started trying I might have to come round to the idea of having an only child. Last weekend seeing dd play by herself/with me in the playground made me so :(. She would love a sibling and she'll be at least 4 if and when she gets one, a bigger gap than I wanted really. I feel like such an idiot for thinking that it'd be easy and quick like last time and not trying sooner. :(

Sorry for being me me me.

oli well done for weight loss that's really good

olismum23 · 06/05/2011 10:53

Thanks stitch i have done the same at 20 pound a month for clear blue sticks i bought a 4 pound BBT so i can track it instead although i may use the monitor for one more month to see if it falls in line with my temps :)

stitchinline · 06/05/2011 10:45

olis I definitely think you still have time to OV if your cycle is 33 days

I was really worried when the OPKs kept coming up -ve and then also very annoying when I kept forgetting to check in the required timeframe and I'd have to wait and do it all again

I think I might have to try this temping thing as my POAS obsession is getting very expensive.

Plus really do know when I OV as the pain is pretty bad - getting worse actually which means I probably need to get my endometriosis checked out.

olismum23 · 06/05/2011 10:13

Still low again this morning :( all i can do is keep at it i suppose my cycle was 33-34 days last time so still have time to ov.... *melies it might be baby sore boobs too :)

stitchinline · 06/05/2011 09:55

Well I finally got a smiley face yesterday on my OPKs so looks like a definite no go this month - dh not back from OZ til monday :( Mind you I will still be tempted to test just in case of immaculate conception :o

Looking at my previous cycles I do seem to normally OV on CD 20/21 so thinking the CP has thrown things a bit this month. Hopefully AF not too late so I can just get started again.

I have updated the stats as my CD was out

Great news Cep. I don't know anything about nuchal scans sorry, they don't do them here. As long as it's in the right range though I'm sure it's fine.

That all sounds a bit strange olis, could you have a chat with your gp?

Hi Tokyo and everyone else

OP posts:
cep · 05/05/2011 18:09

chloe glad your doing so well.

oli i know nothing about the monitor but i hope it shows what you need soon.

Scan went fine. Nuchal measurement a little high for my liking was 2.1 but still within limit for my dates. They did however put my dates back again although i disagree, she did say the scan is give or take 5 days. they've now put the date at 10/11/11. So just have to wait for blood test results now, will call within 5-7 days if high risk. Ds kept saying baby in mummy, was so cute.

olismum23 · 05/05/2011 17:17

Congratulations Collie

Thanks chloe trying anything to conceive again and if not the weight loss will be good for me anyhow you sound much happier hun.

I am really worried now still lows on the monitor and i should be OV today :( wondering if i have lutal phase defect?? if so very sad about it the 2 times i have fell pregnant i have had a skipped period before not sure what it all means :(

Hi ladies - hoping all well with you all
hadrian hoping all ok?

Chloe had to reply to your post. It sounds as though you are much, much more relaxed which is lovely to hear. It sounds as though you've taken back control of your life, which seems like such a hard thing to do when you're in the TTC tunnel, but is so rewarding,. I'm sure that with you concentrating on feeling better, getting fit and enjoying yourself that you will relax, and then who knows what might happen. Now, feel free to shoot me down in flames for saying that bcs I know how annoying it can be, but I really believe it. Thinking of you x

to mel, olis, Lily and bump

lily06 · 04/05/2011 22:06

Collie excellent news, really pleased for you.

Cep good luck tomorrow, will be thinking of you.

Chloe you do sound a lot happier, the break seems to be just what you needed.

Tokyotwist · 04/05/2011 17:51

That's great Collie. Really pleased for you.

Mel I did do one yesterday which was -ive. Not surprised really as haven't had a +OPK. Only did it as I've had some cramping and the very tiniest bit of blood today (sorry if TMI), but not enough to be anything significant.

I'll try again in a few days time but I suspect I've missed a period.

meliesmummy · 04/05/2011 17:32

Yay collie! Grin!

On phone so just a quick update. Scan was good. Little pup fine all wriggly. Actually gain 5 days too! Nuchal results very low- 1:10098.

Won't ve back till late tonight so will do a proper catch up tomorrow.

chloe lovely to hear from you. Xx

Chloe55 · 04/05/2011 16:38

Hi ladies,

Congrats on the BFP bump, I am sure the next few weeks will be full of angst for you but, like you say, cramps are very normal in early pg.

collie - how did the scan go? Looking forward to some good news from you.

olis OMG!! That's an amazing weight loss, well done you! I weighed myself at the weekend and am back to the weight I was pre slimming world so am gutted I let myself shove 2& 1/2 stone on in a year so am on the road to getting rid of it again - in fact my body is in agony today after a double gym class session this morning!!

melies good luck with your testing when you do finally cave Wink

No news here, will def be a bfn this month as we haven't SWI at all! I think I am on about cd22 but won't put my stats on until next AF as not really sure. Have had some bleeding today again so my cycles are well and truly f*cked up, even more so since I started Clomid it would seem but haven't took it this month due to my break. Think I will skip next month too as really want to go away in July and I want to go

lily06 · 04/05/2011 16:06

Tokyo, how frustrating for you. Have added you onto the list, feel free to update with more info if you like.

Olis well done on the weight loss. I lost 2st in 2 months on atkins, this was about 7 years ago now. Tried other diets since but nothing compares for the rapid weight loss and lack of hunger.

Collie I'm good, thanks. Think its the 2ww for AF rather than BFP, but hey ho.

Bump hope you are ok x

Mel Grin at you practicing!!

I had a call from the hospital today, I'm being referred to a different consultant, one that actually specialises in fertility issues - I'm guessing my day 21 progesterone results werent' what they were hoping for after 3 cycles of clomid.....
