chloe that's disgusting, how can they leave it with no way to get in contact with them. Like mel said maybe worth looking into the PALS. maybe make a formal complaint. we have been arguing a lot lately, but then we always did really, but the last few months have probably been worse than normal. I tried phoning hv no answer i'll call back later, they did mention coming round to the pigsty house so we may have to try that.

mel sorry you're none the wiser, it's good he'll refer you for a scan though. Did he say to come back when you weren't bleeding or did he just leave it at that? He's behaviour normally is a bit hit and miss, he doesn't do as he's told very often, used to shout a lot but has stopped that so much now. he goes to the hosp for ear appt's, and everytime we've been he's had glue ear, but as it hasn't seemed to effect his speech they're not worried. But i'm wondering now if it's getting worse, he's started saying "what" a lot more and seems to not hear me, but i just don't know if that's normal being male a toddler. He's very energetic/mischievious. Thing is that dss is nothing like ds, he always stayed where he was put, never got into things he wasn't supposed to. didn't talk till after 3, wasn't brave enough to run off and dh just isn't used to a child who's like ds.

Well told dr i'd had another little bleed, and she's arranging another scan for me mid to end of this week. She was concerned that i was just so tired and shaking so she's signed me off for the week. Boss loved that when i told him, and has asked me to take med cert in, they don't normally ask to bring it until you're actually back in office. Hmm At least then i can take ds to nursery and fall back into bed.

laylasmummy09 · 28/03/2011 11:46

hope your appointment goes well mel
i hope your ds lets you get some rest soon cep
and hello to everyone else

i havent posted for a while but ive been lurking ive been quite busy with my dds birthday and being ill and visiting family, my younger sister has been ttc for 2 years and found out last week that her pregnancy is ectopic, i am gutted for her, i wish i could introduce her to you ladies but she doesnt have internet Sad

im in to my 2ww very boring and only 5dpo according to ff so way way way too early to test and of course im symptom spotting Blush im not going to consider buying any tests until 12 dpo, im pretty sure i will get a -ve this month as i didnt dtd as much as i would have liked in my fertile period but i really hope we timed it right id love a december baby, good luck for thiks month ladies Smile

meliesmummy · 28/03/2011 11:12

Well...I'm none the wiser! He didn't want to examine me because he said it's hard to see what's what if there's bleeding. I guess i'll just have to see what happens this weekend. On the plus side though he said that when I'm pg that if I go to see him at 8 weeks he'll say I've been spotting and send me for a scan! He was really nice about it. And no bleeding since last night so fx it's stopped.

OP posts:
meliesmummy · 28/03/2011 10:04

chloe thats shocking, have you heard of PALS? They can help you make a complaint and get it sorted, I think it stands for patient advice liason service. They are probably online. Anyway, got to run for my appointment.

OP posts:
Chloe55 · 28/03/2011 09:54

friend's ds, not dd obviously!

Chloe55 · 28/03/2011 09:53

cep I would get back to your HV and express your concerns about his behaviour. Perhaps he has picked up on you being pg and is lashing out a little bit? Confused Is everything good between you and dh? My friend's little boy was a bit of a nightmare for a few months too but she was arguing quite a bit with her dp and since they have resolved their issues her dd has settled down again. Just a thought?

melie hope you are feeling a bit better this morning, the not knowing is so frustrating, believe me, I know!

Well, surprise surprise have been trying to get through to my hospital consultant's secvretary again today and it keeps ringing out, then switchboard eventually put me through to appointments who of course can't help me. I am so Angry It's like trying to get blood out of stone! Rang BUPA to see if I would be covered and of course, fertility treatment is not Sad I just feel so neglected at the moment and can't even voice my opinions as can't get through to anyone who can help me. Next appointment is July Hmm

meliesmummy · 28/03/2011 09:49

Cep she goes to nursery on tues and thurs mornings, I'm working tonight so I'll be asleep tomorrow and I don't want to wait till thurs, luckily dh works about 10 mins walk from the surgery so he's going to try to come and sit with her for me, appointments at 10:20 with a more sensible gp. I've looked into it, a coloscopy (detailed cervical exam) wouldn't affect tcc and is safe during pg but a biopsy is best avoided so I'll see what he says. Your night sounds awful, that's all you need at the moment! How is his behaviour generally? I know you are probably sick of people saying this and it doesn't help but it's probably just a phase.

Any luck with the consultant Chloe?

OP posts:
cep · 28/03/2011 09:37

mel sorry you were feeling a bit low last night, i hope you're feeling better this morning. I think it would be a good idea to go to the dr's, any bleeding midcycle is supposed to be checked. does dd go to nursery? (sorry i can't remember)

well last night was horrendous (sp?) ds woke up at 3:30 and didn't go back to sleep at all. When DH got up earlier than usual he took ds down for breakfast so i could get some sleep, i was woken by ds headbutting my back and kicking me. I really don't know what's wrong with him lately, he seems to be getting really violent. I'm starting to wonder if dh is right and he has got adhd or something like it.

meliesmummy · 27/03/2011 21:01

I hope you get somewhere with your dr tomorrow chloe.

Sorry af got you yrmotb.

That sounds hard harassed I hope that you are able to enjoy your evening, come back and chat if you need to.

That sounds a bit better Cep, hopefully it's all a phase that he is coming out of. I'll try to update the stats when I can but I find it hard on the phone so might not be everyday.

I'm feeling a bit down tonight...I am so sick of this bleeding, and not knowing where it's coming from or when it'll stop, or even where I am in my cycle :(. it's not getting heavier or lighter so I can't see where it'll end. I know that I should go to the dr but it means taking dd and the gp I saw last time was hopeless! On the plus side I mentioned that I was thinking of reflexology and dh said he had thought of booking me a session for mothers day so he's paying! And he wants to have a session himself. I'm quite looking forward to it.

OP posts:
cep · 27/03/2011 20:14

evening all. welcome new ladies, sorry you need to be here, but the ladies are fab.

chloe sniff i'm sure i'm not offended sniff. Grin seriously i would appreciate it if others could catch the list up, especially at the moment, as i'm finding it difficult to remember my name. Glad bleeding didn't carry on, but sorry it's being such a pita. Are you calling them tomorrow?

hihp it is normal hon, just take it easy on yourself, don't expect too much at the moment.

mel a bit better last night, we exhausted him during the day, and i started operation not sitting with him when i put him to bed last night, i had to put him back 4/5 times but then he dropped off. he woke 3 times but fell asleep quickly afterwards (i think 1 time he didn't actually wake but he called me in asked me to sit down then told me he wanted to go swimming and that was it) but ofcourse i was awake for ages afterwards waiting for him to wake up again.
I had planned to keep original bed time altered with clock (so 8 instead of 7) but he got out of the bath early and fell asleep so has gone to sleep earlier than normal, so worried now. am off for a bath. and an early night......again. speak to you all tomorrow.

Chloe55 · 27/03/2011 19:38

harrassed your up and down days are completely understandable, it is weird how pg ladies and newborns appear from nowhere after a MC isn't it? Sad I hope your dp is taking good care of you. Had to Grin at your kitten story, sounds like something my ds would do!

Hello to all the newbies, but so sorry you have to be with us. Although they're a lovely bunch here.

Chloe you must be wondering what the hell is going on! Hope everything sorts itself out for you so you know where you are. I agree we should try to sort the stats out, just going to update in a min to add a cd day to mine.

cep you must be shattered lovely!

mel might it not be better to see gp sooner rather than later? Your day sounds lovely.

Unsurprisingly I'm struggling a bit this weekend. Physically ok, but mentally not in the best place. It just comes over me in great waves, and I'm having to force myself to go out. We went to town yesterday and Tesco today and I swear to god every other woman was prg or had a newborn Sad. Doesn't help that I'm feeling fat, frumpy and bloody useless either.....

Dd still making me laugh though! We have a kitten and stupid thing jumped into the bath the other day trying to get the bubbles, but I think dd might have dunked her tonight when I wasn't looking. Although she swears otherwise, the story is just a bit too complicated.... little madam.

Chloe55 · 27/03/2011 18:59

That sucks yrmotb but thanks for updating the stats, I am sure cep will be pleased - I wanted to say cep - I know we occassionally do the odd stat update but you do the bulk load, I know you were happy to do this before, but I also appreciate that even though you will undoubtedly still be bobbing in and out of this thread, as your pg progresses you will prob cut the strings a little (totally understandable). Hope that didn't come across as a 'sod off' statement as I don't mean that whatsoever just don't want you having to feel responsible for the stats! Grin So, ladies I am sure cep would appreciate if at some point throughtout the day one of us copies and pastes the stats and adds a day on to the CD to correspond correctly. Oh, God I am turning into my mother Blush Grin

Feeling okish thanks mel My AF or whatever the hell it was yesterday didn't progress past last night so am back to not bleeding today and have dtd this morning in the hope it might have been some sort of ovulation bleeding (although I fear we may not have done it in time if it was, last day before today dtd was thurs night) Fingers crossed though but am still getting cramps so not sure whats happening really.

Hello, welcome to the new ladies.

I haven't tried acupuncture really but I am thinking of booking a reflexology session in the hope that it'll sort me out!

How are you today Chloe?

How was ds last night Cep?

I've had a lovely day, we went for a long walk this morning in the woods in the sunshine. Still undecided about going to the gp tomorrow, I might just see how things look over the next few days. If af starts on sat though I'll have had about 2-3 bleeding free weeks in 7...hardly ideal for baby making!

Hello all,

May I join the list too?

WTTC I think, having read that article that CEP provided a link too.

WTTC#3 MC#Mar 2011, UCL 26-28 days

I have stopped bleeding! Just when I thought I couldn't take anymore. I have an appt (my first) with an acupuncturist on Monday so am focusing on that. Feel a bit sore and battered but am assuming this is to be expected.

cep You poor thing, you must be exhausted.

Thank you so much and I agree with all the grateful sentiments above, you are all amazingly lovely and wise. xx

freelancegirl · 27/03/2011 08:43

You waiting for first AF Jules? Or just going for it? Sorry to hear your new too Mopey. I guess the thing about waiting is assuming we might get pregnant on our first couple of goes! And that might be unlikely anyway. It only too me 3 cycles last time so I was surprised about that and the doom and gloom side of me feels it will take ages/never happen again and then if it does happen I worry about the chance mc again.

Hey ho, must be a bit more positive! And must have more wine!!! I intend to have a good couple of weeks of 'drinking freely' (I don't mean in a crazy way) as I have missed it when pg, missed the release even just a glass can have when you need to blow off steam.

Hello, had 11.5 week mc 3 weeks ago, had
Erpc then infection so now ready to start
again. God it's bloody tough not knowing if it's
going to work then the worry if it happens again!
More wine and regular tests me thinks. Obviously wine will stop!!!

Hi Freelancegirl - sorry to hear your news - must be tough to have felt you almost got to the 12 week mark. not sure at all - sensible thing would be to wait for first AF - also did have the thought that IF it did happen in next month that could be a Christmas baby..... not so sure that would be ideal.....but is that just really being too much of a planner which can only tempt fate...??

Hi Mopey. Welcome! Am pretty new too, definitely new to this thread. Am at the tail end of a MMC (12 weeks but had unknowingly lost at 7) this week and asking the same question of every one else. Am thinking wait for the first AF which is a bit annoying as it might take 4-6 weeks. OR jump right in. Something inside is telling me to be sensible and wait for the AF but still not sure. Tough decision! What are you thinking?

Hi - I'm new to mumsnet and was hoping I could join this, very comforting to feel there are others in the same situation hopefully we will all have happy news soon - just in process of a MMC at 5 weeks - feeling ok but disappointed, glass of wine helping though! Interesting reading all the chat on whether you should wait for another cycle........what do you think.......keen to get on it again asap......would love to hear your thoughts?
