oops sorry was trying to catch up and posted before i realised i still had this page to catch up on !

mels glad the reflexology was a positive experience for you bumpy ovaries? not sure but wtf with your bleeding, im sorry im of no help i can only say i have my fx that it sorts itself out for you soon x x x

loup thank you ! we did say we would wait for 1 af before ttc again, then i thought i had one 9 weeks after mc ( 5 days but only very slow brown tmi sorry) but i was so eager i took this to be my af (had used opk which suggested i had ov 5 days prior to the 5 day brown bleed) 4 weeks later i did then get a proper af..... so i guess the short answer is yes i did wait for 1 af ended up i think really taking 2 cycles after mc to get my bfp...

cep · 31/03/2011 12:11

mumtum it was ironic for me as the one that got there (i think) was the quickie in the morning that i thought was too late. you'll soon get fed up with ms.

MumTumWanted · 31/03/2011 12:06

bumpwanted you poor love, im sorry that you are feeling so wrethched today, sounds to me as cep says maybe a chat with him later today to suggest taking the picture back so you dont have to delay TTC another month, perhaps he has other reservations like not wanting a december baby but he maybe to worried to say that to you ? Have you thought of an alternative something nice to do on mothers day to stop you mentalling over what was meant to happen still be able to enjoy mothers day ?

cep it had slipped my mind you were on a time limit too, odd in a way isnt it that i only had this month to or i had to wait a whole year til after the wedding to start again ,almost makes you think there must have been an accute desire to don suspenders and ravish OH every night for a week twice a day extra push for determination from somewhere Wink fx these beans stick ....

collie glad the new gp went well always think thats a big help straight away, as for your cousin and wife pi think all of us on here know better than anyone that its really a bitter sweet peice of news when you are not the one announcing your bfp im sure they will be pleased for you but that you are from all the advice you give on here you come across as a strong and compassionate enough person that when you do break the news you will do so with appropriate grace and humility x

really im defo freaking out, didnt want to stretch in bed this morning in case i pulled ny insides around too much. really must stop worrying / mentalling stressing out over ridiculous things !!! Have had to come home from work though as after vomitting twice in the loos it got noticed Blush ive claimed a tummy bug .... cant keep doing that though, i guess my hcg must be shooting up to be feeling so nauseous already Confused not that im knocking having symptoms of course they are in an odd way reassuring ...

cep · 31/03/2011 11:53

bump Grin you'll have to all pretend you can feel it as well. Grin oooh wine, have a glass for me. once my 12 weeks are up i'll be having a glass. i have had the very odd 1, (think i've had 2 small glasses since bfp) they say you can have 1-2 units a week, but to avoid in first trimester and i have actually been trying to stick to it.

mel glad the reflexologist went well. good grief what on earth is happening with your bleeding? are you still having no blood at all?

meliesmummy · 31/03/2011 11:03

Hi all, back from Reflexologist. It was really relaxing, he said that my Fallopian tubes and ovaries felt bumpy (?!) but he's massaged the bumps out. I guess time will tell! And guess what? I've stopped bleeding. WTF?????? Nothing since I first got up. Although I still feel a bit crampy so im hoping things will start again soon because I am completely and unbelievably sick of this! Am I day 2 or 9???? It was definately proper blood last night though, and I felt really crampy! I think I might actually scream if it's stopped properly!!!!

That sounds tough bump, I agree, send the painting back and have a good chat tonight about how you are feeling.

Good luck for Monday collie, will you be 6 weeks by then? I hope that your weekend isn't too stressful.

Did you use opks this month loupe?

Bumpwanted · 31/03/2011 11:03

Thanks Really I did try telling him the other day how upsetting it was that he was so negative when our friend's husband is so excited and he says it is just because of money. I guess I haven't really said emotionally it would cost me a lot more to wait so I will try explaining it that way - I just feel like he should know that and I shouldn't have to force his hand to have a baby with me now.

Cep we are all super excited for you on here so I know it won't be the same but hopefully it will make up for it a little and I am sure he will come around when the baby arrives.

Loup was thinking of you yest and wondered how you are doing. I so know what you mean about learning for next time! I didn't write it down but it is all in my head though. I think once I get past what would have been 12 weeks it will be easier as I sort of never thought past that. Even stupid things like I have a massage booked this week as a present from my Mum and at the time I thought "oh I'll need to change it to a pregnancy massage" and now I don't need to Sad Still I can eat soft cheese and sushi and drink wine...every cloud!

x

Loup23 · 31/03/2011 10:52

Morning ladies - congratulations blackat and mumtum brilliant news, hope it's catching for all! Grin

Sorry to hear about your P bump, I know what it's like, since I had the mc all I can think about is being pregnant again and we too were going to tell parents in a couple of weeks (and stupidly my diary still has weeks every Thursday so I see that I would be 9 weeks today - lesson learnt for any future pregnancy...!). Will a month really make a huge difference in terms of finance? I second what the other girls say that if you sit down and explain to him how you're feeling maybe he'll understand. My DH also ranted about finances but I think children are expensive whenever you have them and one month won't make a difference....! I hope you manage to speak to him and I hope you get to DTD this cycle!

I'm hoping I O this month without having had an AF since the mc - have nay of you with a BFP now got pregnant after mc without waiting for AF? x

cep · 31/03/2011 10:46

bump i hope he gets back into it, cause it does hurt when you read all the stories about ptnrs feeling kicks and all that when dh wasn't bothered. I have the same mental attitude, if this one fails i have a limited amount of time left.

Bumpwanted · 31/03/2011 10:33

Ah cep thanks hon. Men eh? Sorry your DH is on that bandwagon too but I guess its good to know we are not alone! My DH was so excited when I was pregnant but I think he doesn't cope very well with being in debt and he just freaks out when we have a big visa bill....I hope that's just what it is anyway and he would be excited if I got pregnant again (that is if I can convince him to DTD with me!)

It just feels a bit rubbish when our best mates are trying to get pregnant and the husband could not be more excited. He cannot wait for his wife to get pregnant whereas mine...well if it doesn't work for the first month I think he will be pleased whereas I will be gutted. I just never imagined this is what it would be like and thought when you try for a baby you'll both be really excited.

I'm also mindful that we were really lucky to get pregnant first go first time around and then there was the MC...it could take longer next time or go wrong again (you can see I have a very positive mental attitude today!!) and I just want to get cracking asap.

I didn't even look at the painting...its going back and when I manage to speak to him again that is what I will be telling him!

Reallyusefulengine · 31/03/2011 10:31

Melie Good luck at the reflexologists - looking forward to hearing about it.

Bump You poor thing. It might make a difference financially to wait another month but it will cost ALOT more emotionally to you to wait another month. If you explain it to him like you've explained it to us, surely he'll understand?

My DH has been similar in the past, sometimes it gets tiring thinking you have to cajole them into doing things which will make them happier too. Angry

cep · 31/03/2011 10:24

collie that's a sad dream, i'm sure they'll be happy for you, even if sad for themselves. do they know about the mc?

bumpwanted oh hon. What difference does he think a month would make?? i think i'd have said that if he was that worried about the finances then the painting could go back. I know how you feel, but at least he says he does want them. My dh doesn't want another baby at all, we've only been trying because of how much i want another one. I had till sept to get preg, if we hadn't succeeded he we would have given up. Once it's here he'll be fine but until then he's not really interested.

Bumpwanted · 31/03/2011 09:48

Morning ladies!

Congrats Blackkat that is so exciting - we aer on a roll on this board...more BFPs please!! Grin Grin

Cep sorry you had another weird dream. I had a weird one about being in Vegas with people from school and there was a big tidal wave last night and it flooded the Bellagio...very random!

Melies sorry you got your AF but hope it clears everything out and you can start from fresh on a good cycle next month

Collie glad the gp was so nice. I am sure going back won't be nice but hopefully the scan will provide you with some reassurance.

Hi to everyone else on here!

Ok apologies in advance but I am going to go on a bit of a me me me rant now. I think my AF is coming (fingers crosed - weird - I would never have said that before) so I am particularly hormonal but I am so upset with my P (he is not DP this morning). So originally we weren't planning on getting pregnant so early basically for financial reasons but then I did and so after the MC we had a chat about when to try again. Having been pregnant I so desperately wanted to get pregnant again and so we agreed to wait until after my first AF and try again.

So we were chatting about money last night over dinner as we've bought a few things for the house this month and he said, I've been thinking and I think maybe we ought to wait at least another month before we try again.

Well I just didn't know what to say. I feel totally gutted. He says he really wants a baby and he only says wait for financial reasons but then why doesn't he stop spending (example - he came home with a painting last night which I agreed we could get but I would never have said we should if it meant delaying having a baby)

He just doesn't seem to get that for me, every day I'm thinking about what it would have been like if I was still pregnant. Like Sunday, we were going to tell our Mums on Mother's Day. He just doesn't get it and how having been pregnant I just desperately want to be again. Now I feel like I am in a position where I want to have a baby and try and get pregnant but I am trying to do it with someone who really doesn't want to Sad

Just want to cry at my desk and go home Sad

xx

Reallyusefulengine · 31/03/2011 09:29

Oh my gosh!

What an exciting morning!

Blakkat That is amazing news for you and DH. Congratulations!

Layla Did you resist?

Cep Sorry for another disturbing dream, I hope you get a better nights sleep tonight.

Melies So sorry you got your AF and hoping there might be more clarity with your cycle this month.

Mumtum I hope you're okay and not freaking out too much. It is lovely news and good to see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Collie2 · 31/03/2011 09:06

Blimey it's been busy on here this morning! Smile

YAAAYYY!!! blackkat that is BLOOMING MARVELLOUS news!! Congratulations sweet, I am mega mega chuffed for you!!! I too am grining ear to ear for you Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

mels Sad for you that AF caught up, but glad at least it brings you some relief. Your 2 weeks off sounds lovely, and good luck for the reflexology tomorrow, I hope it works for you and this next cycle is your month x

chloe glad you are enjoying the vet nursing. It's good for you to have another focus for a while. Don't blame you for not getting your hopes up yet, but I'm sitting here with my fingers tightly crossed for you anyway x

glad your study is done, I think blackkat is right, you always think they are worse than they are! How is life down under going? I'm ok thanks, still mentalling worrying about every little thing.

cep your dream sounds awful. I hate bad dreams. I've been having vivid dreams too. Dream last night about my cousin and his dw who are struggling ttc#1 think they've been trying unsuccessfully for a couple of years. Dreamt my aunt told them my news and they were devastated Sad

mumtum how are you feeling today?

Had gp apt yesterday. He was lovely (and quite a dis. [disgraful emoticon] Blush ) and sympathetic. Has refere me to epu and have scan on monday. Dreading going back there.

Right I'm at work so better go and get some done!

MumTumWanted · 31/03/2011 08:33

woooooo blackkat congratulations!!!! Grin Grin we are practically mirroring eachother in terms of dates of mc and then bfp

Sorry melies that AF has got you,

cep sorry for another bad dream though i can imagine how upsetting they are , they are only dreams and we all know you would never leave him in RL, be strong hun x

melies Sorry that AF got you but as you say you know where you are at now and that can only be a positive thing....im happy to stay where i am on the list at the mo, though that cb digi says 1-2 weeks im so nervous still as not actually due af til 8th march so until im past that milestone im unsure about taking that nxt step ..... [v worried emoticon]

think i may venture into the freak out room just to lurk mind .... Blush

I also second blackkats emotion that i realise how fortunate i am for the bfp. i hope that in my excitement yesterday and the me me me posts that i didnt upset anyone Blush biggest apologies if i did

right best do some work .... Have a good day ladies ( though mine appears to be a bit slow today so no doubt i will be lurking !

mel the only thing I've done differently this time round is reflexology. I've had 3 sessions and have another booked today, FX it does the trick for you too. x

meliesmummy · 31/03/2011 07:50

Hi brooke, how long since your mc now? Hopefully you won't be waiting much longer.

OP posts:
meliesmummy · 31/03/2011 07:49

I'm okay thanks Cep, it's a relief to have a normal bleed (might change my mind later though when the pain really starts - I've got prescription drugs for it because some months it's so bad I vomit). The only thing is I'm a bit worried about my luteal phase - I'm hoping that this month is a one off, I don't want to be spotting for a whole week before every af - before the mc it was only for 2 days. I'm looking forward to my reflexology later too and I've got a few nice things planned for the next 2 weekends because I'm off work so I'm focusing on positive things.

brooke89 · 31/03/2011 07:43

woooooo blackkat congratulations!!!!

Sorry melies that AF has got you, but i think this april is going to be the month!

Wierd dream cep! How are you feeling?

Still no AF here for me....

x

cep · 31/03/2011 07:41

can't stop smiling for you. Grin

mel how are you feeling this morning?

last nights didn't upset me (unlike the previous) it was just so weird, i've never dreamt about leaving him somewhere before, or if i have i've forgotten it by next morning.

Blackkat · 31/03/2011 07:37

Thanks Cep amd Mel, CBDigi said 1-2 so reckon I'm 4+2, and o/v without any help...blimey!!

Cep another wierd dream, but at least not as bad as night before Smile good sign all those hormones are working Grin

meliesmummy · 31/03/2011 07:33

Don't worry about the dream Cep, I've had loads where I'm out somewhere and realise that I've left dd on her own at home so I try to get home in a panic but I always wake up before I get there. I think it's common, maybe just our subconscious worrying about them or something.

mel sorry af arrived. Hopefully that'll be the end of mysterious bleeds.

weirdest dream last night, i was shopping with ds in pushchair, and bumped ino a friend (friend actually lives over 100 miles away so no chance of bumping) as her if she fancied going shopping together, she bluntly said no, then i was suddenly somewhere else in town and realised i'd left ds around somewhere and had to go checking all the shops to see where i'd left him. no new baby in this one. bizarre
