Morning ladies,

Just a quickie, sorry not to name check but hope everyone is doing well. I caved, I POAS, it was negative, I expected that. Had to cave though as am on second installment of friend's CDWM experience tonight and I know the wine will be flowing Wink

cep · 09/04/2011 07:55

oli sorry you're having money troubles at the moment. you say it's cause dh earned an extra £1000 last year, is it tax credits claiming it back?

loup is it a lot? some women get a bit of blood from when the egg is released from the ovary. It's normal for thsoe women. i don;t think it ends to be a lot though.

mel glad you enjoyed shopping, mmmmm crepes.

brooke89 · 08/04/2011 21:24

melies yeah you did ttc1 and im cd5 :)
blackat hellllooooo, how is everything going?? xxx
That's so shit olis I hope you both work something out!
Welcome mamarara :)

Its meant to be a beautiful day tomorrow :) so lots of Wine or juice Hmm and a bbq xx

Loup23 · 08/04/2011 20:51

bump don't get amazon cheapies - they haven't detected O this month and dodnt really detect I was pregnant until way after FR etc, I'd defs go smiley face digital. Good luck mellies I'll be joining you eith frantic symptom spotting, who else is 2WW?

One question from me in case anyone experiences it, does anyone bleed day of or day after ovulation? I get it every month even when not TTC so its not implantation, way too early but not sure why I get it or if it effects ttc - any advice welcome!! Good weekends girls x

meliesmummy · 08/04/2011 17:41

Minnie, I've been trying the same with my dh but he loves his coffee, he really cut back before the mc but then he read somewhere that caffeine can help sperm motility so I'm not really winning that one! I've as good as given up my diet coke though which has not been easy!

Hi mama, make yourself comfy x

olis that's awful, how will you manage?

Well, I'm tempting sods law...just been to town and bought summer clothes, so if I'm pg they won't fit for long! Then we had yummy crepes on the way back to the car, off home to jump it off on the trampoline!

olismum23 · 08/04/2011 17:13

Before i start sorry for the me me me

Thanks to the conservative party that's me down 60 quid a week because my DH earned 1000 pound more than he should have last year in bonus (he is not a banker he is only a call centre worker on 14k, im on IB(depression)). Now we are in a great mess where DH cant afford to get his work because they have took it of us I just feel lately it is one thing after another, I feel like screaming!!!!!!!!!!!!

cep · 08/04/2011 16:59

mamarara welcome so sorry for your loss. the ladies here are lovely so feel free to rant or ask questions as necessary.

bump grapefruit juice is supposed to help with the production of cm. basically it's supposed to give you more of it, which is good as it boths help determine what part of cycle you're on and also the better quality and amount can keep the little swimmers aound for longer.

minnie bless for dh giving up strong coffee.

mamarara · 08/04/2011 15:51

Hello!
May I join you? Mc in Jan, Couple of months of insanity. Now ready to get back in the saddle, so to speak.
Am a bit of a lurker but am hoping for a bit of a positive kick up the bum.
So hello all and good luck.

Minnie74 · 08/04/2011 15:12

Hi everyone

It is such a lovely sunny day. Feeling really cheery today (bit Blush Blushof my grumpy posts the last couple of times!)- even done some gardening!

harrassed sounds like you have a good gp. Fx it helps.

thumb hi, sorry for you have to be here but everyone is lovely. Good luck with the trying

loup I'm using CBFM too. I like it but trying not to get obsessed with it as it's not working as quickly second time round!

Trying to encourage my DP to cut down on the beer and majorly strong coffees at the mo as read somewhere it might help. He's not that chuffed about it- especially as he just got a new espresso machine! He is trying though bless him- got the decaf out this morning Shock Smile

Enjoy the sunshine xx

Bumpwanted · 08/04/2011 15:06

ps thanks Melies am so tempted to order now but then that really means I am going to try!

Bumpwanted · 08/04/2011 15:06

Are chocolate covered brazil nuts counter-productive because of the chocolate? I love them!

What's this about grapefruit juice? Did I read Cep say she's been drinking that?

xx

meliesmummy · 08/04/2011 14:36

bump I find tescos the best of the cheapies but they are line ones and I didn't get a positive this month (not sure if that's me or the sticks!) but I've just discovered that the clearblue digi ones are £11 on amazon compared to £30 odd in sainsburys so i'm buying those next month! And if this lack of pg carries on I may even invest in a cbfm!

Not sure of any supplements to prevent mc harrassed but brazil nuts help with implantation.

OP posts:
Bumpwanted · 08/04/2011 14:19

Cep I can totally understand why you are so annoyed. Is there someone who could look at their emails (e.g. if management had to email HR to tell them or something like that)?

Melies I hope you get some symptoms soon and a BFP at the end of it!

Harassed glad the doctor was good. I know nothing about supplements and all that but hopefully the others can advise us both. Pleased to hear you ov'd!

Blackat glad you had a nice result after your bad dream.

If I do go down the TTC route this month have decided I want to give it a really good shot (at least for this month anyway) and use OP tests. I think I'm going to follow that SMEP plan! Which OP tests shall I use? I don't think I am going to get on with the line ones as I will get confused whether it is lighter or darker and I don't want to buy a load on ebay as that will mean I do it every month.

Am thinking about clear blue with a smiley face but then I read somewhere someone said Tescos own were good. Any recommendations??

So excited for a sunny weekend!

harassedinherpants · 08/04/2011 14:00

Cep that's awful!! I really think you should reiterate that it was told in the strictest privacy.

Mel enjoy your sunny day Grin!

Bump I've just ov'd, and was ecstatic that everything was working as it should. I've become much more aware of my cycle since ttc.

Layla hope you're ok.

Blackkat ooh nasty, I think it's your homones though lovely!! I've had my worst nightmares whilst prg.

Thumb welcome, sorry you have to be here with us.

Doctors was ok, but not great last night. Blood tests all fine which is good obviously, but doesn't give me a reason! My gp is lovely and I've been with her for 20ish years and she was just so nice about it all, but she can't send me for any tests yet. She said it's good that I can obviously get prg, but that chance of mc increases with age etc etc. I'm 40.....ancient!! Anyway, she says try again, and go back in as soon as I get a bfp and she'll book me in straight away for a scan as I seem to mc early on. First one the baby stopped growing at 7 weeks, and second one was at 5+1. So I suppose that's something...

So, talk to me about supplements to encourage stickiness??? Any ideas?? I'm already trying to cut out processed foods, have cut out aspartame completely apart from odd glass of diet coke, minimal alcohol....... please don't let it be the chocolate!!!!

meliesmummy · 08/04/2011 13:57

And I should add that ATM I am being lazy chilling out on rug watching dh put the trampoline together!

OP posts:
meliesmummy · 08/04/2011 13:55

Cep that is awful! It's like that where I work, nothing stays secret for long!

loupe and Angela I was told by the epu nurse that we could try straight away so go for it!

Any news laylas or harassed?

Well, I'm day 17 and although I've had no signs of ov apart from cramps on and off I guess I'm in the 2ww, let the mental symptom spotting begin!!! At least I've got the sun to distract me...promised dd a trip to the beach tomorrow and meeting a friend I haven't seen for about 10 years on Sunday.

OP posts:
cep · 08/04/2011 13:33

afternoon all. hope you are all ok.

mel i would be too jealous, i'm not brave enough to try again yet, it was only cause dh forgot to put him in one.

blackkat sorry about the dream, they are horrible.

bump hide the box of condoms. Grin

ladies i'm not too bad, apart from being bloody furious with work. went to have my break in the break area, and got congratulated on my pg from someone in a different section, as my pg has not been announced yet, it means someone from management told her. i've told 3 people outside of management none of them (1 only this morning and hasn't had time to tell yet) would say anything, and 2 of 3 don't know this other lady, so it had to have been one of the bosses. But as there are a few of them at lest 7, i don't know who it was, the lady couldn't remember. the managment team are all saying oh well you could have been overheard, but the 3 i told were all in private with noone else there, so don't know how. sorry yet another whinge from me. Smile Blush

Blackkat · 08/04/2011 12:33

Hello, hoping all well with you all

cep hope you are ok? See you got agood nights sleep.

lily pleased that the consultant gave you positive news, every time I saw mine he made me feel like getting pg was possible, and he said he would let me take Clomid for up to 12 months. Not experienced the prolactin thing but sure someone else will have good advice. Sorry.

welcome to thumb so sorry to hear of your losses Sad this really, really is a helpful place to be and these ladies are a real source of strength. Good luck!

chloe how are you?

olis hope you're feeling better?

Mel hope you're enjoying your time off and the sunshine Smile all ok with me thanks, Dad has surgery next week so trying not to stress too much about it.

laylas hope all is ok and you've had good news xx

Bad dream here last night, so had to POAnotherS this morning bcs I was convinced I'd made it all up, but all seems ok, if you can judge by piss-sticks only, off to mental loll about in the freak out room.

Hope you all have lovely weekends xx

thumbwitch · 08/04/2011 11:10

Thank you lovely ladies - yes, I would like to be added to your list, I guess under TTC as that will be what we start doing again asap. :)

Bumpwanted · 08/04/2011 11:02

Morning ladies!

Hi Thumb so sorry to hear about your losses. You are in the right place though. Everyone on here is so nice and hugely supportive Smile

Loup hope you are having a nice hols! Nope not decided what to do yet. Still have AF at the mo. DH had a bit of "action" last night and it did cross my mind that if we do do it the sperm will be fresh!!!

Suspect I won't say anything next week and see what happens. If he doesn't reach for the condom then I'm just going to do it!! I do feel ridiculously excited that I am due to ovulate this time next week - such a loser!!

Cep so glad you had a good night's sleep. Are you feeling a bit more positive today?

Wellie I hope the doctors goes well. Sending you a hug

Laylas any testing this morning?

Hi to everyone else I have missed off! xx

Loup23 · 08/04/2011 10:44

Hi Ladies, lurking this week whilst on holiday, sorry for the losses thumbw, have you made a decision re this month bump fingers crossed angela hope a bfp awaits.

I haven't waited for AF following mc 3 weeks ago as feel ready to try again and it seems the only risk is dating. I am using a CBFM which says I Ov'd on tues weds so lots of SWI and sticking the legs in the air - easier since we're on hols! So am on the 2ww but trying not to obsess and start calculating due dates already.....

Fx for all, will lurk for remainder of hols and catch up next week x

Emoo · 08/04/2011 10:41

Morning all!
Sorry to see so many new faces here, but glad you've found this lovely buch of ladies, and I'm sure you're being well looked after!
Just popped in to wish you all continuing good luck, and to let you know that I don't mind being moved to the Grads list now... think it's about time I started feeling a bit braver!

angela85 · 08/04/2011 09:22

Morning Girls!
The sun is shining, and its going to be a good day!
mellies i did a test and got a bfn last week, so i know all the hormones are gone from the mc. feeling sick again this morning, and the light bleeding seems to have stopped. Don't want to test just yet, too scared i'll be disappointed if its neg. Then again, not sure how i'll feel if its pos. only started trying so soon after mc cos i didn't think i'd get pg first time round again!....Just in case, does anyone know if there is any risk getting pg so soon after, or if they only tell you to wait for dating purposes???
thumbwitchWelcome. So sorry for your losses. Really hope all goes well for you this time round. x
laylas did you test again today? any news? hope all is well! x

Brooke did I get your CD right?

Wellie :( about the bfns, good luck with the doctor x

Lily if you've got some cheapies, go on, test! (I would! Grin), good luck! I'm glad that your consultant is monitoring you properly.

Hello to thumbwitch, sorry for your losses, everyone here is very supportive. Do you want to go onto the list?

How is your dad blackkat?

I'm very jealous of your dry night with ds cep, dd still wakes with a soaking nappy, we have been trying this week to train her to use a potty at night, unsuccessfully! She's been dry in the day since 20 months but still wears a pull up at night, apparently it means that she doesn't have the right hormone yet to wake up when she needs to go.

The weather is lovely here, going to be 18 degrees apparently! we're going to have a picnic in the garden at dd's request. i hope its as nice for the rest of you.
