pigletmania · 15/05/2011 22:24

OOOh is that Peppa Pig world meliesmummy dd would love that where is it?

pigletmania · 15/05/2011 22:23

Thanks meliesmummy Smile

meliesmummy · 15/05/2011 21:00

Muddy puddles is a little water park with fountains and things but like I said it wasn't warm enough really so she just had a little splash about in a puddle in there.

Just noticed we're nearly at the magic 1000...any volunteers to start part 16 (so much for starting no 15 bringing me luck!)

Grin i wish. ooh what was the muddy puddles?? he wasn't too keen on the mini flume one, but then he was only just over 2 when we last went so wasn't too sure as he had to sit on his own. i think he's going to love the dinosaur one as he really loves dinosaurs at the moment.

meliesmummy · 15/05/2011 19:39

Cep it's usually about a week, it is slowing down but I would say theres still a few days worth left if that makes sense. Yes, dd liked the boats one, and the seals one on the other side with a mini flume. She giggled all around the teacups and she loved george's dinosaur ride and daddy pigs cars in ppw. The soft play area in ppw is amazing, really well done. It was a bit cold for muddy puddles though, although somehow I'm sunburnt...even though I barely took my cardigan off! Is the sun stronger in Hampshire or something?!

lily i would definately be careful of lifting very heavy things. can you make them lighter i.e if it's a box empty it??? otherwise just lift sensibly, so bend knees and hold securely close to your body.

mel how long was your period before mc?? if i remember correctly you were getting odd bleeds weren't you before this af?? could be yourbody making sure everything is finally getting back to normal. Glad ppw was good, i agree the witw house is really strange. Ds loved the little ship ride that went round "over waves" couldn't get him off it. Am hoping next weeks weather is good.

pigletmania · 15/05/2011 18:04

ninuina that is good, you can finally let out a big sigh and start enjoying your pg. Hi illy I am fine no MC today phew, but won't speak to soon. How are you btw too Smile

meliesmummy · 15/05/2011 15:25

Yay lily!!!!! Grin Grin! That's lovely news. How are you feeling? I would take it as easy as you can at the moment.

I hope the next 2 weeks is as boring as possible but flies by for you then bump!

olis I had horrific ov pains some months ago, and very strong positives on an opk for 3 days in a row...I've always wondered if perhaps I released 2 eggs that month? Obviously I'll never know!

Stay strong loup!

Congratulations as well to piglet! Grin Grin!

Great news on the scan ninu! Have you decided what to do about moving?

Ppw was fab thanks Cep! Very busy in the morning so we did a few rides then went out into the rest of the park and we went back into ppw in the late afternoon, it was much quieter then. It is all so new and lovely. Dd enjoyed the rest of the park too, she especially enjoyed a rollercoaster called stinger that dh took her on (I hate rollercoasters but I'm fine with most other things!) The only thing she was scared of was the wind in the willows house, I have to admit that the darkness and animatronics (sp?) was freaky! The food there was a bit rubbish though. We spent today at manor farm which was lovely.

Well I'm still bleeding, it's a week now! It's getting annoying.

Waves to everyone x

harassed any news from you? And laylas where are you hiding?

Nina that's great news, fx for an uneventful few months for you! Thanks for the advice re lifting, makes sense. DH helps with the heavy deliveries most of the time, its just when one arrives unexpectedly or an elderly customer needs some help. I think it'll be ok once I can tell people, its just the first few weeks. Maybe I can blaim my shoulder or something just for now.

Piglet how's things today?

Olis that sounds like a fun day out. One of the county shows near us had a cat show in one of the tents a few years back - the cage had net curtains in, some had glittery kitty litter and others had little frilly edges around the litter trays, all very bizzare! I would be overrun with animals here if I had my way, DH tends to put his foot down. So far we've got a cat, chickens and fish.

Ninunina · 15/05/2011 07:50

All is great here thanks lily. I had my 12 week scan on Thursday and they put me 1 week ahead of my dates, so I'm thrilled to have got passed the big danger point. I've pretty much announced to the world now. I know things can still go wrong, but I'm feeling more positive and excited.

I'm hoping your first 12 weeks fly by in an uneventful manner. With regards to lifting, I would avoid the heavier items. Your ligaments will be stretching an awful lot as it expands, and lifting something heavy might result in an injury. Do you have someone to help you in the shop?

pigletmania · 14/05/2011 23:26

olismum I am very happy but does not seem real, and trying not to get my hopes up at the moment as I might have another MC

olismum23 · 14/05/2011 22:55

Cat show was great! i was just visiting, I fell in love with the sphnx cat (the naked ones) I think i may get a kitten my last pet though i have 4 dogs and 1 cat already!

Other than that my diet broke today i had a whopper, cookies, lots of wine Blush back on the band wagon tomorrow.

lily and piglet how you dealing with the shock?

loup well done for no testing.

pigletmania · 14/05/2011 20:23

lily I am ok thanks, trying not to think about it and to relax more, gosh thats a cliche. Hope all goes well for you too, and it sticks and have a lovely baby at the end Smile

lily06 · 14/05/2011 20:14

Olis pleased your pains have subsided, fx they stay away. How was the cat show? Were you showing or did you just go for a look around?

Nina thanks, how are things with you? Progressing well?

Piglet I know what you mean, I've no wanting to see our EPU either. How are you feeling about it all today?

Cep I think if all is ok in a couple of weeks I'll tell my parents and probably DH's family. I see my mum every day and its been really hard today not saying anything, but I think its best for now.

Loup hope you manage to hold you, let us know how you get on!!

Does anyone know what the safety advice is about lifting things while pg? I have to lift stuff 10kg-25kg several times a day and was very cautious about what I did today, but wondering if I'm over reacting or whether I need to keep away from the heavy things for while. Should add that its my shop, so there's no-one making me do it, just me!

Loup23 · 14/05/2011 10:37

Congrats piglet hope you have a sticky bean in there.

Thanks for your advice girls, I know I should wait for AF although not sure exactly when that is as o'd earlier this month after mc..... I know I am only 7 or 8 dpo today so way too early, so just hoping I can get through a good part of next week before caving Blush. It took until 13/14dpo last time ...... Wishing this week away.

Hope the pains are better olis and bump, waves to everyone else and hope you're having good weekends x

olismum23 · 14/05/2011 10:34

missing word is carbs lol :)

olismum23 · 14/05/2011 10:33

Pains away this morning yey! I am away to cat show never been before i am a bit animal mad i have 4 dogs and a cat so i am looking forward to it. I am still sat at a stone off as i have had to include essential if i do fall pregnant but it is very small portions so hoping to lose more.

I hope so too nina
congratulations piglet and again lily
Thanks cep

pigletmania · 14/05/2011 09:28

thanks Ninunina Smile

Ninunina · 14/05/2011 09:02

Congrats to piglet too!

Ninunina · 14/05/2011 09:00

Hello ladies, just popped in to see how you lovely ladies are getting on.

Glad to see lily's bfp news. Congratulations! I haven't been in here for a couple of weeks, I must have missed some other bfp that didn't move over to the freak out room, since the list is looking nice and short. I'm glad that the thread is still being quite lucky. Keeping Fx that its melies and olis turn this month (and everyone else of course).

pigletmania · 14/05/2011 08:32

Got Always on standby too, I couldn't bear going to the IPU again, I told the nurse last time that I hope that I won't see her again soon Smile in a nice way of course as if I had to go there again it would be because I am MC

pigletmania · 14/05/2011 08:30

Thanks cep and lily good luck to all of you, hope that 2012 is your year too Smile

cep · 14/05/2011 08:15

piglet congratulations that's great news. fx for you

lily i told work incase i was ill but didn't tell family till passed 12week scan, and even when i did finally tell them felt ike i'd tempted fate.

loup as difficult as it is the best thing to do is wait till the day you're due.

oli how are the pains?? if they're still really strong i'd call your gp. I know some women feel it when they ovulate but i never did so can't advise you unfortunately. I'm very Envy bout your weight loss by the way, you're doing really well.

hello everyone else.
