So we are eurochick I also appear to have aged myself by a year! Not sure what's with that I'm only 28 honest!

I have started taking Agnus Castus this cycle as I have heard lots of people say it has helped to shorted and regulate wayward cycles (especially those related to PCOS) so I am hoping that this will sort out my late ovulation. Have any of you tried this?

Sorry eurochick crossed post! Thanks, I'll take a look at that thread, had felt it before but never linked the two and would be interesting to know. I'm very much going with the theory now that if I l over prepare I'll get pg! Like if you bring your brolley it won't rain! :)
Sounds like a good plan wouldbe! definitely can't hurt anyway. 6 months does seem like quite a long time, it's difficult not to think about it all the time after 1.5 months, we decided back in November so I guess it's been on my mind for a while, still, I think I'll be a mess if it ends up taking a year or more! 6 months I'm prepared for but it'll still feel like a long time!

Hello ladies! Have been very busy at work and with in-laws visiting so have managed to read posts without writing any! Congrats to those with BFPs!

So sorry to hear your news Poppy - FX for the next month! [big hug] Do you want to be back in the stats? wasn't sure where you'd prefer to be....hope that's an ok spot for you.

AF got me today, so I've updated my stats. Was rather down about it this morning, but I remind myself that we've not been trying for very long, and with travel and visitors, not every month has been best efforts! have lots of good resolutions for the month ahead! also thinking of going to see the GP - AF can be irregular, painful and heavy, so wondering if I should check to see if there's a problem, or whether it's just a question of being patient and keeping trying. Atleast if I went, I'd feel like I was doing something, so I think I might try to get an appointment.

Meant out of it this month, not week! Half of me thinks it only takes one swimmer but half of me thinks it is so difficult. Luck really eh? Not moping btw, just making conversation in case anyone is lurking!:)

For me, ov feels like mild pain on one side (usually my right side), usually coupled with a lot of bloating and general tenderness in my lower abdomen. But if you look on the ov pains thread other women are describing something different. I knew if can vary (apparently people can feel different parts of the process) but I have never heard of ov pains being that severe before I read that thread.

Sorry Serendipity, that's horrid for you getting your hopes up so much.

As for me, fairly certainly out of it this week as dh has been really ill so we have managed 1 shag during first 3 days of my suspected 5 day window - hoping to get in 2 more but still, not exactly covering the bases. I caved earlier this month and bought some pg tests (5!) and ordered a bb thermometer which came today, I hope that the thermometer will call af's bluff even in this unlikely scenario, if not then at least I can check I'm actually ovulating as am only judging by cm at the mo.
For those of you who have mentioned feeling ovulation, how would you describe it? Is it anything like a very mild stitch one side behind your pelvis?

I got 2 very faint + tests yesterday...... and then a bfn this morning.
A little gutted esp as i've had early losses before.
Just waiting for AF to start now.

Ah sounds tempting but a sh@gathon with dss, mil, fil around probably wouldnt happen :L. Guess thinking about it probably counts me out in August to as we all of away for a week then. So it would appear unless July is the month for us were out untill SEPT!!!!! Omg that feels like a life time away.

Im out of the race so to speak this month already unless i have a exceptionally short or long cycle as dp is of tanning himself in Greece for a week with ds. Initally a bit gutted but im not going to use any OPK's and stress about anything this month so in some ways feel a little relieved.

I am feeling a bit better today.

I have just been to the doc's to collect my Day 3 and Day 21 results. And they appear to be normal. Which is unexpected (I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was a teenager).

My LH and FSH levels are fine independently but not in a 1:1 ratio, so it looks like the PCOS is still there (which comes as no surprise as I was yet again plucking hairs out of my chin this morning!), but testosterone and prolactin were fine. And my progesterone at 6dpo (7dpo fell during the bank holiday weekend) was 30, indicating I probably ovulated.

The doctor gave me a referral to a gynae straight away and said the wait should only be a few weeks, so that's all good.

It is kind of confirming my suspicion though that the problem is probably around implantation. I keep getting a few days of symptoms in the 2ww and then they always go away.

And I still haven't got my flipping period. It was due yesterday/today. I wish it would just get on with it now!

Hi ladies

back in the saddle again so to speak its been a rough few days thanks for all of your kind words. I feel like I have done my being sad and feel much more positive now.

Went to the GP on Tues who referred me to hospital for scan to make sure all was ok (well, as ok as can be...) but they made me POAS at hospital appointment this morning and as it was negative they didn't do a scan just gave me a pep talk about how 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage and 1 in 3 women experience them. Not sure why they thought that would make me or anyone else feel better - made me feel a bit like I was being told to stop whining.... the joys of the NHS I suppose. Anyway good news is that there's no reason why DH and I can't continue TTC straight away so here I am back again.

CD6 - here's hoping the rumours about increased fertility after miscarriage are true

Well, after taking a dive yesterday, my temp was back up again this morning (AF is due today/tomorrow). Tested. BFN. My body is just f---king with me. Meh.

No AF, tested, BFN.

yippie :) feel like i have half of my life back. Im free from uni work from now on and have just got my grades back for last presentation and exam and they are my highest. just graduation to look forward to now.

(Hug) for eurochick im feeling the same way. I was so excited when having taking my implant out at the thought of getting BFP so soon but its just not worked out that way. I feel slightly cheated with all sex education lessons etc you are lead to believe that by even looking at a mans dangly bits you will get pregnant so clearly wrong.

To make it all worse AF was absent for many days so POAS a faint line came up and was rather excited, however much i tried to tell myself it may be to good to be true as it was last time when i got the faint line. DP suggested waiting untill thursday to POAS again but sods law and bloody AF turned up today :(

Thanks, lugsie. It is horrible. I normally only feel like crying once or twice a year but it has been almost every day over the last week. I think I'd actually feel better if I could cry but I can't!

Sorry for the self-absorbed posts today. I am just a little wrapped up in my TTC emotions!

Oh eurochick I'll give you that hug... its such a stressful and emotional time isn't it... its so nice to have all you ladies for support as I'm sure my RL friends are sick of hearing me going on about it all!

Can I have a virtual hug?

I am on 11 dpo and my luteal phase is usually 11/12 days so AF is imminent. I am normally on a very even keel emotionally but this month I have been down, grumpy and teary during the 2ww. It is most unlike me. Even DH (not the most observant of men) noticed I have been unusually irritable. I think the acupuncture is stirring up my hormones and doing strange things. I really can't believe this is taking so long. I will be on to cycle 7 soon. I want to have a little cry (again, most unlike me - I am a very rare crier) but I am at work. Meh.
