I am about to start cycle 5 and wondered if there were any fellow sex pests out there who wanted to join me in regular swi, not so regular poas and plenty of Wine, Biscuit, Brew and [chocolate emoticon].

Hi all!
Sorry, haven't been on here for a while, but have been lurking :)

Am on CD30 of a (usually) 32 day cycle. Just wanted some advice really - all morning, I've had pretty strong cramps, and then (sorry for TMI) lots of yellow CM. I don't normally get cramps pre- or during AF at all (v lucky in that respect!), and have never had CM like this before. Is this a sign, or do I have an infection Confused ?!

Tiredtrout · 29/04/2011 03:28

Hi eggy, I had it out on the 11th but this period is very different than what I remember as it seems to be barely there with hardly any cramping just a couple of twinges. Probably tmi but very strange Confused
I'm sure we'll both have a full on rtd soon enough

Liliana1 · 28/04/2011 21:18

Sorry the witch got you toddle
Cangrats though Dogface, hope all goes well for you xx
Hi tired trout welcome to the bus, pull up a seat :)

OBeSomeOtherName · 28/04/2011 20:00

Congratulations Dogface!! Hope you're able to enjoy it properly soon Smile

Eggy I had the mirena removed a month or so ago and had my first visit from AF 2 days later and I know someone who had to wait 2 weeks for their first AF. Hope you don't have to wait much longer!

Sorry to hear that Toddle Sad

emmaloupolman · 28/04/2011 19:42

Congrats dogface Smile

toddle · 28/04/2011 19:39

Congrats dogface :)

AF got me today a touch gutted will update stats later when on comp

eggyweggy · 28/04/2011 16:53

Hi tired trout, how long ago did you have your mirena removed? I had mine taken out on 20th April, have no idea how long it will take for AF to turn up, so would be interested to know how long yours took to appear?? I'm TTC#3 too...

Tiredtrout · 28/04/2011 16:20

Congratulations dogface I really hope it hangs around.

Can I join in too? Ttc#3 I have no idea what my cycle is like as I've been using a mirena since December 2000. Had my first real period in years start today which is nice.

d0gFace · 28/04/2011 15:29

Just got my BFP. I feel anxious like its too soon, if I mc again im not sure what I would do. I know I should be happy but I just feel instantly worried and stressed.

pinkpony · 28/04/2011 13:02

Hi All

Can I join? I'm new to this chat room and baby making malarky. It's something I've wanted for a long time but not really been in a position to happen, but we're giving it a go now. I'm not telling anyone in RL, am glad there are other people in the same position. Will try and get my stats right, this is our first month of trying but we've not been all that active due to work stuff so I'm not all that hopeful but we shall see

pinkpony (32) TTC#1 Cycle 1 UCL 28 days AF due 11/12th May

Poppyjen · 28/04/2011 10:22

CD 25 for me today so we're almost cycle buddies Boogies Smile

Well I POAS again this morning after phantom line on internet cheapie and nothing (well if I hold it just so there may be a shadow but probably just my imagination) so I will hold off until next week now. Off to see family miles away this afternoon so will have lots to distract me and I won't be taking any tests with me, we'll see what next week brings!

Went to see GP this morning about funny hard lump on cervix - its all fine, a nabothian cyst apparently which is nothing to worry about - but what was slightly frustrating was having to explain to puzzled doctor why on earth I would be feeling my cervix in the first place. Had to patiently describe in infant school teacher voice about cervix being high and soft when fertile etc. Blank face from doctor. Hmmm Shock

Slightly bad news is that I mentioned to the doctor about having weird cycles and my PCOS and asked when I could be referred to specialist. He said that because I have one healthy child already the resources on the NHS for any sort of fertility investigation or treatment are extremely limited (so basically the answer was no). I suppose that is fair enough, but can't help feeling a bit disappointed Sad

BoogiesBunny · 27/04/2011 22:06

Hi all - wow a few days away and there are so many newbies!! Welcome everyone and I'm sorry for those who have been disappointed or frustrated this week - especially you weimy, but it sounds like a good plan to take some time off - make sure to plan some things in and spoil yourself, you deserve it.

CD25 for me - not feeling pregnant at all and had a PMT moment this morning (oh the tears!). I'm away from home and didn't bring any tests which was a great decision as I can just relax and be with my wonderful DH.

But I feel when get home another failed month will hit me... I'm so glad to have this thread.

toddle · 27/04/2011 21:39

liliana the same here not doing it again until friday. we must be thinking pretty similar as i peeled mine appart today too and yeah theres a pink line where the absorbant pad thing stops. fingers crossed for us both to have some nice bold lines/pregnant words appearing on ffriday :)

Liliana1 · 27/04/2011 21:06

Thank you so much poppy. I know it's too early but couldn't help myself and then bits of pink everywhere .... it's too much!! So glad I can stop second guessing. Holding off POAS till Friday as might actually tell me something useful then. I can't imagine what you mean about the squinting, tipping to the light, getting a magnifying glass ...!
Sorry to hear about your car :( I have picked up my new (to me) 5 door 'family' car yesterday - hoping I will have the family to put in it soon!

toddle if nothing happens by Monday I will be investing in a posh swanky one too - maybe even one that says 'pregnant / not pregnant' so there is no confusion :)

weimy sorry to hear about your wobble, hope you are ok xx

Poppyjen · 27/04/2011 20:11

Oh forgot to say Liliana the pink bit I think you are talking about is the bit under the flap that attaches the absorbant bit...the dye collects there on the adhesive I think, the lines should both be on the smooth white bit so I would guess not a BFP (yet) I am afraid.

The internet cheapie tests drive you crazy if you let them (I too have succumbed). Best way to know what to look for is to get some cheapie ovulation tests - these will show you what a faint positive looks like as they show up two lines even if they are "negative". You will see then that even if you have a faint positive it will be the same width as the control line and will be visible without too much squinting and holding it upside down standing on your head with your back to the sun and directly over a light source....which of course I have never done .... Blush Wink

Good luck!

toddle · 27/04/2011 19:48

well ive POAS well many recently and nothing dont have the usual af symptoms but im going to try holding of peeing on another stick untill friday may even invest it a posh swanky one not rateing this ebay cheapy ones that highly i dont think. fx for everyone else :)

DreamingOfABump · 27/04/2011 19:43

wow sudden rush of action, hope all those with ??lines will be back soon with some BFP's to report, its very exciting!!

Poppyjen · 27/04/2011 19:40

Hi weimy

Well I just POAS after holding on for 4 1/2 hours - nothing. I guess last night's IC line was a phantom. Back to limbo for me Confused I will POAS with FMU tomorrow morning just to be sure but then I will be holding off until Tues at the earliest.

and my car failed its MOT.

Sad
weimy · 27/04/2011 19:33

Hi all! Been lurking for a while.

Welcome to the newcomers :) and fx for those about to poas Grin Sorry to those who 'she' got :(

I'm having a wobble so have decided to stop charting poas and swi for a bit so I can sort my head out. I will keep my seat warm though!

Have fabulous weddings Carlita and Emma 9 and hopefully homeymoon babies!)

Feel kind of pregnant but that could be a million things inc AF. Gone off food - aren't you supposed to be more hungry? Have Amazon internet cheapies and POAS (not due till sun / mon) and no line in the gap, but was pink under the bottom bit so peeled it back and there is a line - but in the wrong place!? What does this mean? Is it reacting to the glue or whatever holds the things together? - I know it's also early, will someone stop me obsessing please?!

Fx for you poppy and sarah

Poppyjen · 27/04/2011 14:45

Thanks 75 I am going to try to hold it in for the next few hours and do one this afternoon Smile and will of course use FMU tomorrow morning.

Really feeling a bit underwhelmed right now as I feel a bit like I can't trust my eyes... Confused what a rollercoaster...

Also its crazy timing as I have a doctors appointment tomorrow morning as I freaked out a bit at the weekend when during my cervical position checking antics I felt a small hard lump on the opening of my cervix Shock so will have to admit to crazy POAS addiction and seeing things that aren't there to the good doctor.... Blush

75sarah · 27/04/2011 14:39

A line is a line is a line as they say!
Are you holding off doing a 'posh' one for now?
Fingers crossed (or should that be an early, Congratulations!)
Smile

Poppyjen · 27/04/2011 14:29

Strange one for you ladies...after my extremely down day yesterday I had the urge to POAS for some reason, incredibly frustrated by constant EWCM but no ovulation detected....anyway I have run out of ovulation sticks so I did a pregnancy one just for the hell of it.

I think I saw a line.

Very faint but there in the time limit (on internet cheapy) and same again this morning. If I hadn't done ovulation tests which show up with a line even if it is not positive (green end instead of blue IYKWIM) then I probably wouldn't notice it but there it was.

Haven't told DH yet as I may just be seeing things. Went to Superdrug to buy some of their early tests as I have heard good things about them (on 3 for 2 as well) so we'll see what the next few days bring. I have run out of internet cheapies now so can't do any more obsessing for a bit, at least with the "posh" tests it is allegedly less ambiguous.

Trying not to get my hopes up as this is very weird timing and I could just be going mad... Confused

75sarah · 27/04/2011 11:25

Congratulations and good luck, Emma. A honeymoon baby soudns fantastic.
Fx to everyone else who's testing soon
Thanks, treaclechops. I'm rocking to and fro in a manic way as I type Wink . Af due this morning but no sign. It's never late but then I know from reading other ladies experiences that your body can play some pretty mean tricks. Not getting af this morning - and I did wake at least 6 times in the night to check my knickers! - has made me really happy...so I'm not doing a preg test to ruin it. buries head deeply into the sand Smile

TreacleChops · 27/04/2011 11:07

75 sarah i'm glad it's not just myself that feels like all the charting and looking out for every detail is making me go doo lally tap!!!
