Hello to all from the cotswolds :) We are having a fab time and have spent today at Longleat Safari Park - very nice!

babe - I am so excited for you - just a note - with CB digi you dont have to have a FMU :) - POAS!!!! I did a CB digi yesterday at around 5 and it came up with a 'pregnant - 2-3 weeks :)

Mummy glad the scan went well xxx

bbb hoooray for symptoms and a plan for you. I hope your scan is good x

I called my consultant today to organise an early scan etc, and he wants me to be assessed int he EPAU so his secretary will call me tomorrow for an appointment and scan.

I too would love twins - one of my MMC was identical twins, when I had my first scan he told me it was triplets!!! But then changed his mind to twins. So it would be lovely if I was pg with twins this time too. There are twins in my family and DP is a twin, but I would be more than happy with just one healthy sproglet.

Big waves to everyone, and fingers crossed for those in the 2ww :)

sorry not to name check more but am pretty tired after my day out :)

My first line was also internet cheapy and not FMU...

MummyAbroad · 26/04/2011 14:26

hello from me,

Grin Grin Grin YRMOTB [ Grin Grin Grin
OMG! Thats great! I know how hard it is to believe those feint lines, but I am already convinced its a proper BFP! Mine was super feint on FMU, and if yours wasnt even FMU then - wow! Use that digi, to convince yourself!! So pleased for you xxxxx

Battery horray! sounds like a good plan, glad you have scan date and meds all sorted. HTH till the big day.

LadyB there are actually quite a few new joiners in the Freak Out room, but all too scared to put themselves on the list!

I had a scan yesterday and got a nuchal measurment - nice and low at 1.26. Still feel a bit worried as I cant get bloods done out here and the amnio on offer just sounds scary (docs not very experienced) so I think I wont bother. But 1.26 is really good right? Doc also blurted out he thinks it is a boy and is always right at 12 weeks - wasnt quite prepared for that news and dont know whether to trust it. Wish he had kept his big mouth shut TBH.

must dash - just got a job offer for more translations - if I accept my workload will quadruple, would love to do it but have to try and make new arrangements for DS childcare - not quite sure how to make all the pieces of the puzzle fit together, but I am sure there is a way!

digitalgirl · 26/04/2011 14:02

lots of good news on here atm Smile

hooray to YRMOTB

Good luck to the 2ww'ers.

I am in a non-ttc 2ww and my temp absolutely rocketed this morning to a temp range its only ever been when pg, but at only 6dpo. V strange, but at least I'm not wasting any false hope on it. I'm thinking this means my progesterone level is good (hopefully as a result of the metformin).

Mr S's midwife has kindly agreed to sort out my prescription this week, so the cabinet will be fully stocked in prep for next month. Bit nervous about taking lots of drugs, but it's all for a good cause.

Ladybee · 26/04/2011 13:56

That would be fingers X

Ladybee · 26/04/2011 13:56

ooh that is exciting! YRMOTB - and some very promising delays/high temps as well, maybe there is another burst of BFPs due, I was just looking at the 'Freakout' list and it didn't seem to be many new joiners recently, so would be lovely to get a rash of BFPs.
Hairy you've done so much better than our terrible efforts, sit down lady. Zam hope that AF holds off but I think you should just send friend out to get a bottle of milk or something and test for us.
BBB I'm so pleased spotting has stopped, fingers the progesterone does the trick for you.
I'm going to try to get a GP phone consult tomorrow to talk through getting my prescription lined up - I'm paranoid that I'll get sod's law BFP this month, a week before I fly out, and have to try to get appts etc while packers, cleaners and letting agents are around and with no computer etc. So am doing usual trick of over-planning to attempt to regain some sense of control.

Hope those back at work today aren't suffering too badly, never mind, short week and another long weekend coming up - happy days!

getawiggleon · 26/04/2011 13:37

Aargh, forgot to say really please that the symptoms have returned bbb! long may they linger (in the nicest sense) hope all goes well at St Mary's x

getawiggleon · 26/04/2011 13:35

Ooh how exciting yrmotb Internet cheapies are rubbish I tell you. I've only ever had a v faint line on them but a much stronger one on anything else. Break open that cb digi!!

Currently in waiting room at clinic waiting to see what meds they are going to give me post iui then hopefully I will be linking arms with hairy and jolls on the 2ww tomorrow (still waiting for temp rise!)

V exciting in here at the mo, I think we're due another run of good luck! zam sounds positive!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 26/04/2011 12:20

And fx for hairy and jolls in the 2ww, and a tentative yay! for things looking up for bbb Grin xx

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 26/04/2011 12:18

Super quick post as at work:

a faint line is a line is a line, my lovely. Grin Grin Grin Now keep your legs crossed for a few hours and poa-CB digi please!!!! I dug out my first so-called bfp the other day and you can see nothing on it, honestly, how on earth I talked myself into doing the digi as well I'll never know but the digi came up straight away so I say go for it!

Can I go plump up your beanbag yet?!

ZamMummyInGabs · 26/04/2011 11:58

Hello everyone, sorry have been lurking quiet, been taking a break this cycle - no temping and SFF as DH only came back from UK on CD18. And have been away in Zimbabwe for the last week without internet. Wanted to say HURRAH!! for babe and FX HURRAH!! for BBB (hope I haven't missed any other bfp's?)
In my news it's now somewhere between 10-14 DPO & temp this morning (first time taken this cycle) is at usual LP high (36.8) so.....and am feeling a bit nauseous first thing & metal mouth.....however WILL NOT test yet as DF still here visiting. Am trying to hold out till Fri FMU (he goes on Thurs pm) - what are my chances ;)

hairylights · 26/04/2011 11:40

Thanks AandRMum

Thanks jollstwinny :)

I had a LH surge on day 13 (a day early) both on CBFM and a pee stick, and we SWI on days 8, 9, 12, 13 and 14.

Good luck

randomimposter · 26/04/2011 11:21

gah just lost a big and bloody funny post...

babe am whooping for you - get testin' and postin' pls missus.

BBB thinking of you with ze bloods - all FX.

hairy, good to see you, am also in 2ww. But not a very good effort this month, only SWI on 12 and 13. Dunno if/when ovulated, but had periody twinges and spotting on 16 and 18. But had some midcycle gunk last month and that meant nowt, so am not raising any hopes.

bee, I have also had to downsize and chuck out stuff recently. It is very therapeutic and does remind you of all the shit clutter we accumulate. I've been far too attached to material stuff in the past, and have really enjoyed becoming a bit more ruthless with "letting go". Nothing on your scale I'm sure, but I know where you're at.

wave to everyone else. Have chores coming out of my ears so must crack on xx

AandRMum · 26/04/2011 11:20
AandRMum · 26/04/2011 11:18

Yeah yeah yeah Gooooo Babe - am going to hang around in case you find a CBdigi to pee on!!! We seem to be on a roll in here. Big kipper coming your way for wasting FMU on an internet cheapie!!!

BBB feeling very positive about your symptoms and lack of sludge. Roll on 4th May. Did you test low for progesterone or is it just a precaution you being given it?

Good luck wiggle hmm anymore than two might be a bit of a handful!!! Love the double bugaboo! Those things are so aimed at the male market!!! DH just transferred his car speak to buggy speak when we had to choose our buggy and at NCT I swear the dhs spent the whole time debating the pros and cons! I quietly went out and bought a maclaren!

Waves to all - so exciting in here - we are on shag week. DH very content with the world at the moment!

hairylights · 26/04/2011 10:09

Woop! For babe

We are now in the two week wait

loola2shus · 26/04/2011 10:04

OMG YRM you sneaked that in on the end!!! don't keep us in suspenders, get the CBD on the go, just keep your legs crossed for a few hours and it will be as concentrated as FMU! You didn't wave at me while you were up here, it has been lovely weather eh- not geordie like at all!

BBB fx for 4th May, hope goo was just burrowing!

Ooooh twins

brokenbarrenbrook · 26/04/2011 10:04

babeGrin oh my gosh! You're as bad as me with no tests in house! A line is a line though is all's I'm saying! x

Youremindmeofthebabe · 26/04/2011 09:20

Morning all!

Hope you've all had lovely weekends. I've been visiting family in Newcastle, izz, it was lovely. been to the park a lot, played tennis, football, ate BBQ for 2 days on the trot, and had a generally lovely time of it. Was sad to come home and back to the daily grind of work and more work!

Good to hear the brown goo has let up bb, and that you've got your Prog now. I've got my fingers very tightly crossed.

I've always wanted twins too. My mum is a twin, and so's MIL. And my sister had a twin that unfortunately died in utero. Although at the moment I would be more than delighted with one healthy baby.

How did the clinic go wiggle? Are they going to do IUI? I never knew follicles were so big!

hairy lovely to see you're back on the horse, so to speakSmile. Good luck for this month for you.

So, I am 12 DPO today. Normally I have an 11 day LP. My temps were still up at 36.82, and so I poas'd on an internet cheapy. Which had the faintest of faint lines on it. Of all the thing I have learnt on this forum, you would have thought I should use a better poas stick. It wasn't fmu cos I got up to go to the toilet at 3am. So now I must wait til tomorrow for more definitive answers. I do have a CBD in the house though. So that's me in limbo! I haven't even told DP yet.

Waves to all, hope everyone's well.

brokenbarrenbrook · 26/04/2011 08:16

Morning all, sorry for lack of posting, been busy over weekend.

jolls hope you had a fab time in Nofcuk! Have you adopted the local accent now too?! That bugaboo thing is cool! But it's £1200!!!!!! Holy craperooney! Tres expensive indeed Shock

wiggle Grin at you googling octomum!!!! Hopefully you'll be lucky, but not that lucky IYSWIM

loola hope the AF from hell is over soon. That sounds pretty horrendous. Keep an eye on your iron levels and get some red meat down your neck! X

battery how are you doing?? Still in shock?! Hope you're ok and bean is burrowing deeply x

Hope everyone else is doing ok and enjoyed the weekend. I'm off to St Mary's this morning for bloods as I have to have TEG done again. The brown goo has disappeared completely and the symptoms have returned with a vengeance! Who knows. Scan on 4th May when I'll be 6+3 so will know for sure if there's a bean in there or not! In the meantime they've got me on 800mg of Progesterone a day so FX that does the trick.

Have a good day all, waves to izzy, mummya, freezing, freelance, Louise, A&R, bee and anyone I've forgotten x

huh, that's clever. Like it a lot.

back to normal tomorrow, I've enjoyed having DH around these last few days - oooh, but DS has a nursery slot in the afternoon, good chance to run around and get rid of some bits while he's not here. Its a strange thing (but quite good) to be trying to get rid of possessions as fast as possible Smile

Gah, I'm hungry. Must be something in the house that I can eat
