Getting us started on a new thread; this one is gonna be a lucky one!

Freezing Welcome back. FWIW I don't think it's too early to poas and I probably would have done about 2 days ago. Was the bleeding you had implantation? red or brown?

BBB Thanks for cyclogest tips. I'm simultaneously Grin and boak at cottage cheese knickers! I was hoping to get away with the fanjo option but the instructions from clinic say 'rectally'. Which is nice.

Total confusion here today. No wonder I was getting blank opks last week, I was nowhere near ov. Looks like the clomid may have delayed things a bit. I had temp rise this morning but then have had ridiculous ov symptoms all day - bloating, cramping, tmi amounts of ewcm (blood tinged too, even more tmi) so now wondering if ov'd today and iui was poss too early?? Not entirely sure but I think 'washed sperm' only lasts 12-24 hours unlike regular swimmers. Does anyone know if this is the case? As ever I get totally different opinions from the various (and always American) chat rooms I seem to stumble across - "sharedjourney.com" anyone?!

Freezingmyarseoff · 27/04/2011 21:10

Right, I've kind of managed to catch up but you ladies do chat so, which is why I heart MN

MummyA great news on getting a new job. Did I miss what it is? That was a bit pants of the sonographer.

BBB so glad to hear that brown sludge has stopped and symptoms are back. Getting up at stupid o'clock not so good though

battery good news that you can get an early scan sorted out etc. I would love to go to Longleat, it looks ace

mouse we're off to a sort of street party on Friday after the actual wedding. I might fish out my veil for a laugh. I have instructed DH he's on duty while I blub at the TV

I'm another vote for twins or more in a deluded sense of fairness. I probably shouldn't admit this but a couple of cycles ago when I started feeling really sick at about dpo5 I started imagining I must have triplets in there but it turned out I was just crook Blush

ladybee you sound so busy - of course body will not cooperate but in a good way. I'll have lots of stuff, I have just cleared out loads so I can start hoarding again

Just looked round and seen the mountain of unpacking I haven't done, so will catch up some more tomorrow but big waves to everyone jolls, wiggle, dachs, AandR, izzy, loola, zam, hairy, digital, blackkat fx I haven't missed anyone

tiggersreturn · 27/04/2011 20:46

Congratulations yrmotb! I hope it stays (and multiplies).

Freezingmyarseoff · 27/04/2011 20:31

OMG YRMOTB whoop whoop what totally cool news to come back from hols for [cgrin] [cgrin]

looks like i've got masses of news to catch up on, will try my best before Masterchef starts!!

Strange things afoot here, thought AF had started on Sunday but it all stopped again. please I need some fish slapping to stop me going mad. It is too early to test isn't it? (day 26 of 28)

right will catch up properly now....

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 27/04/2011 18:52

mouse no one's getting left behind, them's the rules Grin

bbb how're things going today? Am I right in thinking you've got a scan coming up soonish?

mummya sorry missed this part of your post earlier - I would be Shock and Angry at the sonographer, it's lucky you're not bothered about the surprise!! How lovely to have two boys though, they'll be great friends Smile

wiggle hope the drugs go up down ok and you get your temp rise soon. I've missed it somewhere in yesterday's barrage of posts - did you have the IUI in the end? Fx for a result this month.

battery and yrmotb hope everything's going reassuringly undramatically for you both!

Fx for jolls and digi and anyone else in the 2ww - this seems to be a lucky month!

ladybee hope the clearing out's going well and you've unearthed your veil ready for Friday Grin

aandr have you contacted the naturopath yet? Any news?

mamapower · 27/04/2011 18:43

yrmotb first time on for days and what bloody brilliant news!! Whoooooooop! Thrilled to bits honey xxxx

brokenbarrenbrook · 27/04/2011 05:57

mummya Eek, sorry missed your post about scan, naughty sonographer Shock hope you're ok about it. Congrats on the job too

izzy congrats on being 52 weeks! Mental! Glad you've got it all sorted and you're now armed with your notes and a consultant referral.

wiggle word of warning about the cyclogest, wear a panty (I hate that word) liner otherwise you end up with cottage cheese knickers. Not nice! The insertion side of things is relatively painless you just need to become intimate with your insides. Alternatively you could stick it up your bum but as I've said before that's exit only in my world so wasn't an option Grin

bee do you have anything left in your house? Grin

battery hope you're having a lovely time in the Cotswolds. I love love love Longleat but haven't been for years now.

Hope everyone else is doing ok? Three days of getting up at 2am for work for me now  hideous!

Have a good day all x

Just scrolled back as I realised I missed YRMOTB's big CB digi moment! WHOOP WHOOOP ITS OFFICIAL!!!Grin What a lovely early wedding pressie!!

getawiggle thankfully I am not the leave-it-as-a-surprise- kind of girl, but I did feel a bit unprepared - I thought it wouldnt come up at all until much later on.

Another bugaboo fan over here by the way. I bought mine second hand and it had two years on the clock - I have put another 3 on it and it still is working fab and going strong for bubba number 2! Wish it had an engine though.

wiggle good luck with erm, insertion.

mousebacon · 26/04/2011 22:52

OMG - [cgrin] [cgrin]

Yay!!!

Thrilled for you yrmotb and thank you all for not leaving me behind

Day 43 in the mousey household and still no sign of AF

getawiggleon · 26/04/2011 22:39

Forgot to say Grin for Izzy and her official updiffed notes!

getawiggleon · 26/04/2011 22:38

Yeah! Fab news YRMOTB So excited for you and have everything crossed that it'll be a sticky one x [csmile]

Mummy well done on job and scan. I'm a bit [cshock] at sonographer telling you his opinion on sex though. Were you planning on finding out? I'd be fuming!

Mouse I'm still here! Like mummy says, nobody gets left behind. I know how you feel though.

dachs Nice wheels! I love my bugaboo. What colour are you going for?

battery v sad losing id twins Sad. Sounds like there's a high chance of multiples in your family though. I think if they said I was expecting triplets at a scan I'd probably fall off the table! The Cotswolds is on my 'places I'd like to visit" list!

I've come back from clinic with a bag full of drugs. They've prescribed clexane, cyclogest and prednisolone for the 2ww. I told them they could stick the pessaries up their backside though so I have to learn how to inject and erm, insert tomorrow! [chmm] Praying that temps rise in the morning too, ov is already 2 days later than usual!

Couldn't usually give a hoot about the Royal Family but am strangely excited about the wedding on Fri.

nickstermum · 26/04/2011 22:14

YEY hooooge congratulations pops xxxx

See you over in FO room and over on bookface... made up for you honeyx xxx

AandRMum · 26/04/2011 22:10

Oh all happening tonight yipppppeeeee yrmotb

Well done MummyA I'm sure you'll manage something with the childcare.

izzy enjoy your notes and it all being official.

MummyAbroad · 26/04/2011 20:47

thanks! got the jobGrin

I think my DH might lock me up if he found me in wedding veil and pjyamas watching telly at 4am Hmm

Izzy congrats on your graduation into the system, may all the cons, midwifes and nurses you see be tame Smile

brokenbarrenbrook · 26/04/2011 20:41

Splendid news indeedy YRMOTB! Congrats! Fingers crossed tightly for a sticky sticky bean. X

digi and mylovelyjollipops, I have everything crossed for you two too.

Gosh, I wonder who'll be next?!

OP posts:
Velvetcu · 26/04/2011 20:34

have posted on the other 'fred too but

woohooooooo yrmotb Grin Grin Grin

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 26/04/2011 19:59

Oooh does this mean it's a legitimate excuse to get my wedding tiara out of the wardrobe and wear it again?! I might just have to. No chance of me squeezing myself into the pre-dc wedding dress I wore when I was 23 and super-skinny though otherwise I'd have been tempted to go for the full shebang Grin.

mummya good luck with the job x

Ladybee · 26/04/2011 19:50

Oh Izzy that's a bit rubbish, sad to have to go through it again I expect - although that gestation is pretty impressive. You have NOTES! that makes it very official. Well done. Fingers crossed for that 16 week scan.

YRMOTB you're up the duu-uuffff, you're up the duu-uuuffff. So, the next week or so is going to be the looooooooongggggest 7 days you've ever had Grin, so hope it all works out for you this time.

Mouse nah....even if I did get lucky this cycle, I'd most likely be un-pregnant again in another 4 weeks so don't think I'll bother leaving this thread TBH, will just hang out here being variously up-diffed/nup-diffed.

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 26/04/2011 18:43

Woo-hoo!!!! Hurray for the CB digi!!! Grin Grin

Now pop on into the freak out room and say hello when you're ready yrmotb - I've plumped up your beanbag and dachs has made nibbles!

MW went ok except they clearly hadn't recorded the mc properly so I was showing on the system as 52 weeks pg! Shock Sad. However apart from that mw was lovely and has referred me to consultant so hopefully will get extra scan at 16 weeks without having to argue/pay for it myself. Fx I get a tame consultant too. Have to admit though, it makes it scarily official now I've got my notes and everything. Which is good, I think. Just scary.

cep · 26/04/2011 18:40

YRMOTB that's fantastic news so so pleased for you.

MummyAbroad · 26/04/2011 18:39

mouse no one gets left behind!

hmmmm. just worked out the Royal wedding will be at 4am our time, not sure I am patriotic enough to get up and watch at that time or if it will even be on the telly - no wait - it IS going to be on everywhere isnt it? Even if this far flung little corner of the world.

I have just done a telephone interview and translation test for a new job - keep your fingers crossed for me ladies - should hear back today or tommorrow!

DoubleDiffedDachs · 26/04/2011 18:34

yrmotb GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

FAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So pleased

Will go and prepare a space for you in freakout room, and polish off a beanbag for battery too :)

hairylights · 26/04/2011 18:33

Hurray babe - great news - sending you lots of sticky thoughts :)

Youremindmeofthebabe · 26/04/2011 18:32

I've done it! Cb digi says pregnant 1-2 weeks, which as I'm 12 DPO and its midafternoon, seems ok! Huzzah. Just told dp. God I'm chuffed. I pray this ones a good one. Gotta keep my mind off it with an essay due in tomorrow. Good timing! Waves to all, thanks for all the good wishes.
izz hope the booking went well and you got a nice one.

mousebacon · 26/04/2011 17:57

Woohoo yrmotb that's ace! Now go and PO another S!

I'm getting worried I'm going to be left all alone in here soon

I love that bugaboo! £1200 is a bit steep though Grin maybe we can all just go and play with dach's ?

Pleased to see loola and izzy enoying the Geordie heatwave. Sadly it's a bit cooler today Smile

Right, who's doing what on Friday? I'm now looking for my wedding tiara to wear with my pyjamas on the day Grin
