Helloooo,
Sparkly I'd have an early scan, definitely. In fact I had enquired about one last month, but mc'd first. I think like Wombat, it's about self-defence. Although I've been very upset, it was def "easier" to mc early and not have my hopes way up like the first one.
I found this from the Miscarriage Association: If the scan picks up a heartbeat and the baby appears to be the right size according to your dates, this can be very reassuring. Research has shown that if you see a heartbeat at 6 weeks of pregnancy, the chances of the pregnancy continuing are 78%. A heartbeat at 8 weeks increases the chance of a continuing pregnancy to 98% and at 10 weeks to 99.4%. So things could still go wrong, but as long as there is a heartbeat, the risk of miscarriage decreases as the weeks go by.
Wombat oooh looking forward to hearing from you on Sunday!
Worm well done on another 5k.
I am definitely too old for Jack Wills....am 40 .
We're viewing a house tonight. It's not as big as ours downstairs, as we have a single storey extension where we are now, but I'm hoping the space will be better utilised. At the moment we have a tiny sitting room, huge but badly laid out kitchen with next to no workspace and a stupidly big range cooker, and also a lovely sized dining room.
