Hey Maddyd. Glad you had a fab Hen Weekend. Did you get the Clarins everyday tanning stuff, it's fab, gives you a heathy glow without everyday. It's helped me look less dead on a daily basis!

Feel a bit poo today. According to Persona I've still not oved, but I feel the sort of sicky, gripey feeling that I get in the second half of my cycle, so I guess nothing happened this month I'm on CD 18.

Hope everyones well?

found this statement online about perods and clots. Some of you may find it very reassuring:

"Clots

When menstrual bleeding is heavy, clotting can also occur. Losing large clots can be extremely upsetting and even painful if they are large because they can cause cramping as they pass through the cervix. There is a simple explanation as to why these large clots are formed. All blood contains a clotting factor. To enable menstrual blood to flow freely from the uterus (womb) and leave your body without clotting, the uterus produces an anti-clotting agent. But if the menstrual loss is heavy, it is possible that the anti-clotting agent will be used up before a period has finished, so that the remaining blood is likely to form clots."

mumswish · 31/10/2005 10:54

ohhhhh white jackets!! is that a promise?!?!?!

Thanks Diddle - I wasnt sure if it could be a mc, but didnt think so somehow. Nice to know tho

HellKat · 31/10/2005 10:48

stay as long as you like mums, - i am, can't bear to leave you all.

peepee - its not uncommon to have clots in your next period after your m/c you could get it for a few more cycles too.

mumswish - clots aren't necessarily a sign of a m/c could be anything going on. at least you're regulating and although we all hoped af would stay away from you, it isn't a bad thing that your body is clearing out and getting back to normal after being on the pill.

morning HK, hope you're ok.

hi to everyone else

mumswish · 31/10/2005 10:20

I agree with you there Peepee. You can get condoms on NHS so why not womens stuff?

MyGirl - I agree with DF but still wish we could do both. I've told him I want a puppy instead to keep me happy until we can afford baby!

***

Do you all mind if I stay for abit even tho Im not TTC. I've kinda become attatched to you all and I want to know how you all get on with you mission for babys

peepee · 31/10/2005 10:20

Hellkat,
You have made me feel loads better. I should count my self lucky. I couldn't go thru this every month!
mumswish, I didn't really have much choice other than to go sick as in my line of work I am not always able to get to a loo when I need to and like yesterday would probably have an accident
Have to go now DH is calling...
Will catch up later

HellKat · 31/10/2005 10:18

I can't wait for it to stop! It's costing loads . I still say that womens hygeine stuff should be on the NHS!

Peepee,Mumswish-I feel for both of you. I know exactly what it's like as I suffer with severe Endometriosis. I bleed for 2/3 weeks of a month, pass huge clots and go through a super plus tampax and maternity pad every hour (sometimes every half hour at the beginning). Hopefully yours' will ease. As for me, it's just my "norm" .

mumswish · 31/10/2005 10:15

it must be something in the water PeePee. Mines really clotty now wondering if its a mc? (I dont think so but worrying a little) I'm not going home for it. I refuse to!! lol. We'll see how I get on. I've got really strong painkillers at home. Ibuprofen 400mg.

Does anyone know if there is any truth behind Ibuprofen being bad for you when you're trying to concieve? I read it in a book and panicking now cos thats the only painkiller I ever use.

spub · 31/10/2005 10:12

Mums and Peepee -

peepee · 31/10/2005 10:11

Morning mumswish,
I am going thru the exact same at the moment. I have had to go off sick. Bleeding and passing clots since yesterday. This is my second heavy bleed in 9 days. I had m/c on 02/09 and had AF that finished 9 days ago and am bleeding again.
