Well I'm.totally confused now, temp.dropped to.what was just below coverline and now FF has decided it's not clear if I ovulated or not. Test this am bfn but still no signs of af. Confused.com.

Bexamundo as I understand it a short luteal phase wouldn't stop you conceiving, it would just stop a bean from sticking. However having said that, I've worried like mad over my 10 day luteal phase and not one thing I've read has said 10 days is too short, it's on the cusp.

Jaggy anything to report?

slightly sore boobs which may be a bit bigger and some cramps but have had those before.

have got loads of saliva though and queasiness on and off, which has got me googling like mad

have been overexcited a few times before so trying to chill out!

11dpo today. Longest LP has been 13 days so FF thinks I should wait till Thursday before thinking of testing...:)

How many DPO are you Jaggy?

I didn't even notice them!

Probably cos I am still sat here dribbling and promising myself to stick to no testing unless AF is late...

Whether it's CD12 or CD15 doesnt really matter at the end of the day, so long as it happened and DH's swimmers got there in time :)

I'd have maybe thought CD 15 if I was playing the FF game IfAt, but I think it's picked 12 because of the recorded EWCM?

hard to work out sometimes. Looks like you got in some SWI before CD12 and 15 so fx :)

Grrr - know idea WTF is going on. CD17 and FF didnt think that I had ovulated at all (whicj is very unusal for me, it's normally CD13,14 or 15 without fail) So I hid a couple of temps where I had been drining the night before and it's now put me at CD12. Hello ladies I'm new to to thread (and fairly new ro charting!- cycle 3 charting). I'm using FF. I wondered if you can advise me/ put my mind at rest. I'm cd27, FF reckons I ovulated cd10. 17dpo temps above the coverline....af due today on a normal cycle, usually 27, shortest 26, longest 29. Tested this am, bfn. Should I be excited?! Should I convince myself it's not likely?
I can try to add my chart but last time I struggled.
I'm assuming temp will drop and af will come, or temps will stay high and I'll get the bfp...

Mrsden - thank you so much for your message because I do feel a lot of the time what do I have to feel bad about or moan about and yet I do and that just makes me feel worse. You are right about how emotionally exhausting this can be, I really did set out with a more laid back attitude and now Im convinved its never going to happen. This place is the only place I really have to let off steam as apart from my best friend that I dont see that often, no-one else knows Im ttc.

Im in the middle of deciding whether to visit GP or not - because I chart I know obviously exactly when Im ovulating and can see my LP is generally only 11 days. Have read the short LP phase thread here and there seems to be a debate if this is a problem or not, it seems on the cusp of normal I think, some say 10 and below is a problem and others 11., to sustain a pregnancy. (but I got a BFP at only 9 DPO before, so this confuses me)

Dont want GP to think Im a desperate obsessed ttc freak and get a lecture about how losing weight would help - which I know and am doing something about. Also Ive heard a lot of GPs would just say - swi 3 times a week and dont believe in charting.

But if it is this and can be corrected? oh I dont know.

DS made a wee noise at about 3 this morning and i woke up and couldn't get back to sleep for lying there obsessing.

Hi all, just popping in. Haven't been here for ages as been trying to lay off the obsessing and haven't been charting since getting excited when my temps appeared to stay up (remember? I was on hols in San Jose). Although I am thinking I might have another go on the next cycle.

Just have to share this "gem" from my DH. We were talking about TTC and he said: "well it's only been about 2 cycles hasn't it?". Me: "No, 6!"

Bless him, he has no clue!

He's away again for a change and I've had two days of EWCM. So guess we'll be moving on to cycle 7 soon. Sigh. Another month where no doubt there'll be yet more baby/pregnancy announcements in RL and I'll have to try to resist being .

I have a quick question about cervix position. How long before ovulation does it go high and soft? I've been checking mine for the first time this month, today it felt higher and softer than previous days. Does this mean ovulation is imminent? Or does this happen a few days before? I haven't really noticed any ewcm yet.

Now FF thinks I ovulated on CD12 instead of CD14....dotted lines still....Had little twinges yesterday, not full on cramps, but more like ovulation pain...and my boobs have been sore since Sunday evening...and DH reckons they've grown, but that's just wishful thinking....and I dreamt last night I went for a medical and on examination they found out I was pg....see, I'm not symptom spotting again or getting my hopes up, honest! [bugrin]

If it was me I'd probably wait and see, but that's just me. Good luck!

there aren't many fingers crossed for af posts on here it must be rubbish wondering what's going on though. i was flapping this month just because i didn't seem to ovulate till cd17 when it's been 15 the last couple of months

my lp has been 12/13 days mostly. recently 12 i think. am leaning towards not taking temps now, watching it drop is a bit rubbish, i could be blissfully unaware for an extra day or so!

How long is your luteal phase normally?

i have read TCOYF far too much since i got it a few months ago. there were example charts with people's ovulation delayed by injuries and in-laws visiting and such like!

I'm 9dpo and totally failing to distract myself away from mumsnet. even though I've not temped for nearly a week. can't decide whether to start again on Monday and wait for the temp drop, or just wait and see...

Thanks jaggy that's a reassuring answer actually. I wouldn't be unhappy if I was pg, but on balance I think I'd prefer it if it wasn't this month. Rather too much on my plate already as it turns out.

stress can delay ovulation so i was going to say wait for a temp rise too, sorry!
