Im new to charting so not sure what my 'normal' temp is, during waking hours im so cold i should technically be dead and when in bed feeling like im about to spontaneously combust in fleece pjs under a 15 tog duvet my temp takes a dip, im surprised ff hasnt flashed up a warning to say I may actually be dead this morning Confused but I did have a lovely long uninterrupted sleep before I took temp this morning Smile I usually cant sleep longer than 3 hours at a time but last night I cant even remember getting out of bed at all!

essenceofSES · 07/03/2011 22:08

OOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Just had second session with personal trainer and I'm not sure I'll be able to move tomorrow! We did step ups on park bench, tricep dips on park bench, press ups on park bench and stretches on park bench. I am never going to ask anyone to donate a park bench in my name when I'm gone as they are just used for torture!

Scrummy - yes, it does often happen that if pg, temps in LP are higher than they would normally be and sometimes go triphasic after implantation with a second hike in temps IYSWIM.

Truffkin - chart looking good...!

weimy - oh no! I think Truffkin is right with the upduffed theory though... Wink

Hello everyone else!

weimy · 07/03/2011 21:55

Hi truffkin we are on the 10 day consulting phase. Eng/media/drama need to get rid of half a teacher, I am half a teacher. But, I only teach drama and drama only needs a reduction of 2 hrs, so they are not sure yet whether I should be removed from the Eng Media equation, I've been told to raise it as an issue with my rep :(

lol that sounds about right about getting updiffed Grin

Truffkin · 07/03/2011 21:28

What's happening Weimy? Have you been officially put at risk? Do you know what sort of payment you might be entitled to? You do realise that the inconvenience of being pregnant when you have no job, no money and no Company maternity pay means you will instantly become updiffed now? Wink

Scrummybumb · 07/03/2011 19:37

twizzle Blush sorry for the spelling!

weimy · 07/03/2011 19:09

twizzle glad you like them!!!

essence lol, sounds like they are best friends. Grin

Scrummybumb · 07/03/2011 19:07

Oh no weimy! Shock You sure?

weimy · 07/03/2011 18:59

truffkin chart still looking good!

I might be getting made redundant, am worrying that ttc might not be appropriate?

Scrummybumb · 07/03/2011 17:40

Truffkin depends on how much you want to enjoy a Wine I guess, and all those non-pg treatments....Would be good to wait if you don't think you'll regret it as 'wasted' time in hope...I'm expecting mine on Thursday or Friday and flying out on Thursday....part of me thinks to test on Thursday, just in case, - part of me thinks it would be good to wait until Tuesday when I'm back so i can enjoy it with DH if positive, but I think that's me just dreaming. No symptoms....

Sounds like you and i sync in our cycles ( was starting to feel a bit left out)

thizzle thanks for the tip, i might try that when I'm away. As my temps seem steady and in line with temps on fri and today I'll leave them for now.

bossy the worst they can do is say no...(meant as words of encouragement) Have you rehearsed you 'speech'? I know I would have. A million times over!

A question, i gather from some comments that a higher than normal temp is expected if pg?

Truffkin · 07/03/2011 17:03

Hope you've enjoyed your shopping Bossy I seem to have spent an awful lot on myself recently! I can't pass a shop or log on without popping something new in my basket! My work wardrobe was getting a little tired though so at least I have some new looks to rock for the time being Grin

So I'm CD22 and FF is saying I should be testing on Friday if no ERTD by then. As my cycles have occasionally been 30/31 days in the past I am thinking I'll leave it untila fter the weekend and if no ERTD by then, I'll feel comfortable that it's late enough to test. What do you guys think? chart here

I would prefer ERTD to arrive rather than see a BFN so I figure this way I can enjoy our lovely weekend away without the possibility of a BFN ruining my mood and I'll be distracted enough not to think about it until we're back on Tuesday. Also, I feel absolutely symptomless so have no reason to believe that ERTD won't arrive by the end of the weekend.

bossyboop · 07/03/2011 11:04

I was too shy to ask about childcare but will mention it to mil this week, hopefully! Decided to hold off on the job front until dd is at school full time anyway. Off for some retail therapy...!

essenceofSES · 06/03/2011 20:49

Hello all!

LOL at some of us "syncing" our cycles!

"weimy* - I wasn't pg with a young dog but we did get one of ours as a puppy when DS was 7mo. Between feeding him and cleaning up after him and his nappies and then toilet training and looking after a 12 week old cocker spaniel, I think I'd have rather we'd got her when I was pg and let her settle.
DS absolutely loves our 2 dogs though. Today he was running after them to tickle them and then when they got excited and knocked him over, he just sat there laughing at them :)

AuntieD - I agree, your chart is looking good at the moment!

Bossy - hope talking to PIL goes well.

twizzle - I'm loving the idea of being a good hostess too!

jaggy - that sounds promising already for this cycle! I'm a firm believer in being a bit more relaxed helping a lot!

twizzlestix · 06/03/2011 20:22

Sorry can't help with your q weimy having never seen hide nor hair of a real BFP just wanted to say your dogs are gorgeous :)

Doris your chart is looking good, your temps post ov. Look higher on the overlay. Fx

weimy · 06/03/2011 20:05

AuntieD lookin good!

I am using conceive plus, and taking epo, on cd9 usually ov around the 13th so the swi has begun!

Tough day with devil pup today in gundog training, been told she is too immature and we need to take a break. I worry because she is away with the fairys and I don't know if I could cope with her and be pregnant. Anyone else had experience of being pg with a young dog?

AuntieDoris · 06/03/2011 19:40

Well, I am on CD 18 and maybe 6 DPO. I didnt test positive at all on any OPK's this month, but if I ovulated on day 11 that would explain it!

Hopefully this month will be successful. We have aimed to SWI every couple of days instead of having a mental week or so.

Here is my chart for those who fancy stalking...

chart

jaggythistle · 06/03/2011 19:33

Have we somehow synchronised our cycles? Hmm

Me and a friend at work seemed to do that - we were both grumpy and clumsy at the same time Grin

Lol at being a good hostess!

I have forgotten to start back on the EPO... must remember. Already had pre-seed for last month so all ready here too. Grapefruit juice...can't hurt eh!

I had a bit of a lighter AF too, not complaining though.

twizzlestix · 06/03/2011 19:10

Hi guys

What with all the droid/AF/ERTD appearances, this board has really slowed down. It's odd that so many of us seemed to end 2ww around the same time though. It means we'll all be going 2 ww batty at the same time too :)

If your chart is looking fab!

Essence thanks for the offer will PM you.

Bossy good luck with the PiL and the childcare requests. Do they already know you're ttc? If not are you prepared for THE questions i.e. Any luck? etc

Scrummy thank you for looking at my chart. Do you ever use the temperature corrector on FF when you lie-in? It'll adjust temps for you, but shouldn't be used too much.

Jaggy yey for the great swi timing. A break from work will be much less stressful/tiring and will allow optimum SWI-age.

Well my AF saga has ended.
After 2 days of, well I'm still not sure what it was (recorded light in FF despite only being when I wiped- I wanted new chart). Followed by an even lighter half day, AF has vanished.

I know that I should be pleased I got away without cramps and happy that I had a very light 2.5 days but I'm more Confused. Hopefully this months charting will be easier and a more typical cycle.

I am firing all weaponry at the baby beast this month, shall be using pre-seed, taking evening primrose oil and drinking grapefruit juice. All in a bid to be a good hostess Grin

jaggythistle · 06/03/2011 17:15

hi all, just here to I've gone all quiet with no imaginary BFP to worry about...

Positive thought for the day is that SWI week this cycle coincides with me being off work on holiday. So ...as long as we aren't unlucky enough to coincide with poor DS having another illness or teething meltdown, we should be able to put in a good effort. :)

Also I can have a glass of Wine or several when off and in-laws looking after wee man for an evening.

Scrummybumb · 06/03/2011 17:08

Just goes to show I wasn't quite in the right frame of mind this morning, i realise I misread your last post thizzle - still happy to jump on the bus though....after a few comedies, a long run and yummy lunch feeling much better this afternoon.

And with FF back up and running with its fancy new look, continued with the happy charting - although with weekend extra hour in bed they won't count...
www.fertilityfriend.com/home/Scrummybumb

bossy i wish you well with all the tests!

Truffkin Your weekend away sounds fab!

newgold nothing smug about having 3 and wanting 4th!

Newgolddream · 06/03/2011 11:29

ifatfirst - its reassuring to hear of others because I was really starting to think there was something wrong as everywhere you read its always about first half of cycle varying but LP being consistent isnt it, and mine isnt.

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 06/03/2011 11:03

Newgold My LP has varied in the past too, anything between 11 to 15 days Confused

angster · 06/03/2011 11:01

Hi Newgold- I thought they were suppose to be roughly the same as well, but good to see you have kids already , that gives me hope about my LP !! Can't believe Xmas bus is here already , I was practically on that one last year. Sob sob

Newgolddream · 06/03/2011 08:29

Glad your feeling a wee bit beter bossyboop Smile

angster just read that you to have my shortish cycle and LP, Im not sure if its a problem as I know you need to have a LP of at least 10 days for successful implantation, mines has been 10, 11, 12 and 13 lol - this confuses me as I thought it was meant to be fairly consistent!

Hows everyone else this morning?

Scrummybumb · 06/03/2011 08:08

Morning all, as ff is down, you may find this an interesting read. it was referenced in RED this month.
blogs.helsinki.fi/rotkirch/files/2009/03/paper-6-rotkirch-2007.pdf

thizzle glad you had a chat with your gp. I think I'll be on the Xmas bus too...no signs of pg and was hit by early PMS this morning (had a long good cry). DH is a xmas baby so it would be a nice birthday present for him! Smile

Got a long girly weekend away ahead of me next week, to soften the final blow of what looks like inevitable AF arrival.

bossyboop · 05/03/2011 19:23

A bit of pain relief soon sorted me out weimy, I find once dd is in bed at 8pm its the ideal time to get down to business before I turn into a pumpkin then we can sit and watch a bit of tv, either that or make the most of dh's afternoons off when he has them Grin Once the pjs and dressing gown go on its like a chastity belt!

Need to pluck up the courage to ask the inlaws if they are willing to do some childcare otherwise no point in sending off the job application form, DH wont do it even though his parents!
