Mrsden I would have counted that as cd1 too, mine follows the same pattern 2-3 days of brown spotting when I wipe then proper red flow and cramps. The way I look at it with LP is that the charts aren't 100% accurate, there are so many things that can affect temp that ovulation can't always be accurately detected and therefore the LP it shows isn't necessarily right, does that make sense?
Great chart poppy
and yours jaggy as always!
Well I went to the hospital, running late as always just to add to the nerves, I took painkillers as advised beforehand, someone came and explained what would happen and what the risks were - cramps, bleeding and potential to introduce infection. The letter said to take dressing gown and slippers but I didn't bother and didn't need to as had to wear hospital gown anyway and they gave me a gorgeous nhs robe to put over the top. There were 3 people present (all female inc 1 student) Got on this bed that moved forwards, backwards and up and down and there was a huge machine hovering over it which included the screen to watch the x ray and the x ray machine itself. I had to lie in the smear position for about 20 mins which was painful, my sore hips distracted from what was going on down there. After the speculum was inserted they had to sterilise the area outside and in with iodine I think which was warm and gave me a fright! The catheter was inserted which had a balloon on the end which got inflated once inside. It was a bit crampy but only for 30 secs max. The dye went in and they took x rays then everything had to come out. I lay a few mins to rest and it was such a relief to straighten my legs. The Dr said the tubes were fine but she thought the hole in the cervix seemed small for someone who has had a baby already but she would have a proper look and send the results to the gyn who I don't see for another 5 weeks but that's my fault I booked the appointment late as I didn't know when I would get af and therefore have the hsg.
I was a bit crampy once painkillers wore off so took more and had hotwater bottle and a cup of tea. Had a little bit of bleeding, got in the bath when I got home, had a good soak and good cough to get rid of all the nasties. I am a bit crampy today though very mild. Overall it was nowhere near as bad as I thought but it can vary from woman to woman and the painkillers probably helped. Was exposed for about 5-10 mins then they put one of those green sheets over with a square cut out so they could just see the area they were working on so felt better then.
In the meantime can't wait to get back to swi, well just because I really want to and haven't been able to due to hsg. Temp is still low so still in with a chance. CD11 now and last cycle I ov on CD19 I think it was but you never know when it will come so on the one hand nervous it will be sore but can't wait
Guess we can only try!
Thank goodness friday the 13th is over!
