Enjoy your weekend scrummy! I guess I'll go and see my GP next week. I'm not relishing it though. I was classed as high risk with DD (even though iI felt I was OK) and subjected to a barrage of tests which all turned out fine.
I ended up with a highly medicalised, quite horrific labour and birth, which I still have isues with today, so feel like I'm about to do battle with the medical world!

But it'll be worth it and I've learnt lessons.

I know I need to stop temping but still can't bring myself too just yet...............

scrummy
we are in the 10 day consultation phase at the end of that if no alternatives come up we have to fill in a form where we get points for our answers and the form is taken to the board of govenors and they choose who stays and who goes.

There is a chance that I might be taken out of the media english drama pool, as I am a drama specialist, and this might mean I just loose hours rather than my job Hmm

mrsden · 10/03/2011 15:22

Before ttc I thought my cycles were regular, but I suppose that's because a few days either way is nothing when you're not obsessed! I've never had one more than 35 days that I can remember though so it is a bit strange and I really would have expected to have had some spotting by now.

Have a fab time scrummy Smile a weekend away sounds lovely.

Scrummybumb · 10/03/2011 15:00

truffkin I'm keeping FX for you still and hope you have a great weekend away.

MrsA really great news. When do you plan to go and see your GP?

Weimy Have they said when they will inform people?

I'm lucky enough to have had fairly regular cycles, so can't even imagine how stressful it must be not knowing. Not that the regularity has helped with getting pg yet, but at least I know when to expect PMS, which I suffer from terribly now that I'm off the pill (it really affects my life and I even have to try and plan my working weeks accordingly as I turn to a nervous wreck). I really hope it sorts itself for you quickly MrsD

I'm sitting at airport and just heard a baby cry and started welling up myself...need a Wine I think!

Truffkin · 10/03/2011 13:21

Hi ladies

MrsA is it sinking in then? Are you sure you want to keep temping? You know you'll be worrying over ever little change?!

MrsDen It's a PITA when a cycle goes all ETF on you, I've had really long cycles in the past when we first started TTC and it's such a pain not knowing when things are 'supposed' to be happening. Saying that, I've also had a few very short cycles too and the surprise arrival of AF at the most inappropriate times is just as annoying! For me AF is due on Monday (according to me) or Saturday (according to FF) and we're away for the weekend so I'm going to wait and see if AF turns up. If not, I'll be POAS on Tuesday morning

Scrummy I don't think it's a BFP month for me wither so I'm fairly sure I'll be joining you at the start of a new cycle over the weekend. Nothing even remotely resembling a symptom for me, although my temps are still relatively high. To be honest, this is not unusual for me until the day before or even sometimes the day of AF starting. Who knows?!

Anyone else approaching POAS time? I'm with MrsA lwt's get some more BFPs please!

weimy · 10/03/2011 12:57

sorry mrsden :(

FX Truffkin :)

Limbo does suck and it is a shame we can't put our bodies in detention when they misbehave!

CD 13 here so just SWIing and waiting for ov and redundancy news !

VintageNancy · 10/03/2011 12:16

Well I have major nausea but I'm pretty certain that's down to the food poisoning. AF due Sunday so not sure there's much to see here.

I'm off on hols on Monday so going to ditch charting for the next cycle as can't cope with the time difference stuff.

Sorry for the BFN mrsden :( I don't know why our bodies mess us around so much. I had 5 months between coming off the pill and starting TTC and I swear the weirdness only started at TTC time.

Good news on the strong +ve MrsA :)

Mrsden it's horrible isn't it? It really messes with your head. At least if your body behaved and did what it was supposed to - good or bad news - it's a way of moving on. This limbo must be awful. I notice from your charts - are you using a BBT thermometer to s decimal places? It will give you a more accurate chart.

Well temps went back up again today and did a CB non digital HP test this morning. Stronger +ve, so I am happy. I think I'll temp a little while longer and then do invest in a digital one next week. As this is intended to be my last pg, I want to make the most of it.

Who else are we stalking - want this to be a good news thread!!

I'm sure our bodies like to play cruel tricks on us. Teds any sign of AF yet? What are your temps like? I keep running to the loo to check but nothing. I'm going to try and forget about it for the next of couple of days Wink , I'm sure she will turn up when she's good and ready.

Teds77 · 10/03/2011 08:46

'properly'... doh Blush

Teds77 · 10/03/2011 08:43

mrsden it's an absolute bum and I do sympathise. I had more of a smear than a spot of AF yesterday morning but then absolutely nothing since. I'm CD29 today (also 16DPO) which is pretty unheard of for me. I'm 99.9% sure I'm not pg but agree that I just wish that AF would turn up probably so I could get on with next month.

Scrummybumb · 10/03/2011 08:40

Sorry for the BFN MrsDen Sad

mrsden · 10/03/2011 07:31

CD 36, 16dpo. No spotting or AF yet so I POAS. BFN Sad. I just wish AF would turn up now so I can move on to trying again. I've never had a cycle longer than 35 days before.

Morning to everyone, Truffkin will you POAS soon?

Scrummybumb · 10/03/2011 07:28

MrsA what fabulous news i read! Congratulations!!! And i hope it is a keeper, sounded like your DD would be a fab little sis. Thanks for sharing your story and stay in touch.

I fear my cycle buddies, my temp has started to take the slide today and as I'm away for the weekend, i caved in and POAS and of course it was BFN. It seems AF is torturing with a long spotty wait this month, but am hoping she'll finally turn up tomorrow, so I can say hello to cycle 6 and tell cycle 5 to p**s off (useless!)

Truffkin · 09/03/2011 21:53

Just popping in to add my congrats for MrsA - hope it sinks in soon!

I'm 13DPO and temp still well above the coverline, although that's normal for me until a few days before AF arrives. No symptoms at all to speak of although I've tried to coerce some in spite of boob prodding most days!

Good luck to my cycle buddies Grin and remember it's not over til it's over!

MrsP81 · 09/03/2011 19:04

Congratulations MrsA!!! Grin

weimy · 09/03/2011 18:49

Congrats!MrsA how wonderful Grin

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 09/03/2011 17:37

YAY MrsA that's brill news! Grin My temps are still right down, have no idea what'sgoing on now. Surely if was an implantation dip, it would actually dip and go back up rather than slide. Oh well, just have to wait and see........ www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2de1f3

AuntieDoris · 09/03/2011 17:31

Congrats MrsA. Fab news!!

I am still hoping but my temps dropped even lower this morning. I fear the worst :(

essenceofSES · 09/03/2011 13:38

Iwish · 09/03/2011 12:04

mrsa that's fab news!!! I have been secretly stalking you and hoping for your BFP. Sooo pleased for you Grin Grin xxx

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 09/03/2011 12:02

Newgold up to dpo 11 I was still hopeful, then on dpo12 it plummeted and I said to DP, well that's me out again and i started to feel faint cramps, then when it rocketed on dpo13 I didn't know what to think. I was worried that I've had a stinking cold in the past few days, so that was messing with my temps.

DP and I are going away overnight for my birthday at the end of March - the first time we've ever left DD with someone else (she's 2.5) and I was thinking, well at least I'll be able to have a few drinks...mmm..champagne.....I'm not complaining but I think it really hasn't sunk in yet.

Mrsden I truly have had zero symptoms. The odd bit of cramping, the odd achey boob but I've had those before in bfn cycles. This cycle has been so busy at work for me, I also forgot to drink pineapple/grapefruit juices at appropriate times and DP and I forgot to use pre-seed! Go figure!
I have still taken my pre-natal vits, Vit B complex and Omega oils but have been doing that for 3/4 months.
Next cycle I was going to try activated Vit B. It's more expensive but it's the pure form of Vit B6. The B6 you get in normal tubs needs to be activated by the liver which doesn't always work apparently.

God - I need to remind myself of what I can/can't eat/do. It's been a while! Can I even take Vit B complex still?
