oh pinks we all have that voice hon. I am just enjoying being pregnant today and looking forward to each tomorrow and the future and I can't/won't get wound up about something that may or may not happen, because it won't stop it happening... what will be will be, whether I like it or not. I refuse to let that murky voice in my head ruin my pregnancy... it's a toughy Smile
I can understand your upset at fruit mentos substitute... eeeew, they don't come close!

KnitterNotTwitter · 03/03/2011 20:51

oooh mammap splendid snog action

PinkFondantFancy · 03/03/2011 20:50

Do you reckon she was pregnant: crazed mum

PinkFondantFancy · 03/03/2011 20:26

mamap that is what I keep trying to repeat over and over in my head, except there's a competing shouty voice that keeps yelling "but I want it to work sooooooo muuuucccccchhhhhhh" - do you have this?? How do you make it shush?? I had a bit of a strop this morning because I trotted happily to Tescos thinking of tooty fruities and they didn't bloody sell them!!! So I had fruit mentos which were a rubbish substitute....

mamapower · 03/03/2011 20:22

KnitterNotTwitter · 03/03/2011 20:13

My croissant mix only made 9... but don't tell DH as he thinks it was 6... [oops emoticon]

digitalgirl · 03/03/2011 20:04

So pleased to hear about more good scans.

emoo v exciting to get a drive by anti-d puncture

dachs twins and no symptoms - also gives me and my symptomless pregnancy some reassurance.

Made it to the end of another working week. Ds a little under the weather, so may spend most of tomorrow cuddling on sofa (secretly pleased).

PinkFondantFancy · 03/03/2011 19:57

emoo intrigued by the random taxi delivered drugs and shifty characters coming to your door!! Grin

LOL at brian coming along and being a pest at wombat's house!Grin

Wombat33 · 03/03/2011 19:50

Gah! Brian's making his presence known in my life this week. Just dashed to the airport thinking I was late to collect dh only to find I'm an hour early for his flight!

St Davids St Davids St Davids

happy diffed day peeps

YEY for the multiple beans today scanners xxx

owlbooty · 03/03/2011 19:29

Hoorah for the DoubleDachsBeans !

Moo random taxi drugs and buttock stabbing sounds like far too much excitement for one day Grin

I have only put on 3lb in total which is astonishing given how much cake I eat daily. I fully expect to balloon like the hindenburg or whatever it's called at some point fairly soon. That should be entertaining. Until that happens, I'm not telling anyone at work. Buahahahaha.

AandRMum · 03/03/2011 19:06

Emoo Grrr at crap information distribution by NHS leading us straight into the arms of the alluring but ultimately shallow and slightly evil DrGoogle

Dachs double bean sized tin hats - you are super lucky to be symptom free with twins - makes me feel better as well as I am rather symptom free.

PinkFondantFancy · 03/03/2011 19:04

Wow v v excited about all the good scans today! Good work emoo and dacha beans!!

I've got a scan tomorrow, then, fingers crossed if it goes ok, I'll have to go a whole 2 weeks till the next one wobble wobble wobble. I switched the black pants a while ago but I think it's not entirely helpful as at least with White you'd have an instant indication of what's going on whereas I spend ages peering into my pants trying to see what's happening and then wiping anyway... I am so ridiculous I know!!' can someone send me the link to the stats about your chances of it being ok if 10w scan ok? I am going to practice being rational....

Super impressed with homemade crumpeting!!! Good for you! What did you eat them with? Did it mean you ended up eating about 27 in a row?? Freshly baked crumpets would be morethan I could resist!

mummya I think homemade Easter eggs sound cool! Can you get nice chocolate there or is it like Malaysia where even the cadburys tastes vile?

thanks for advice and tips about avoiding pressure peeing-I think I might go to the chemist and ask for a sterile pee pot and that way will avoid any probs hopefully! Jet wash isn't so far off the mark Grin hence the problems of aiming in a little pot under time and performance pressure!! Grin Grin

Turns out my entire office knows about my diffed status.... Probably heard me honking in the loos today Blush

MummyAbroad · 03/03/2011 18:48

Dach Yay for two heartbeats!!!

Emoo · 03/03/2011 18:40

Well done dachs, good news indeed!

Grin at a&r and the drug cartel. Mystery resolved. Next knock at door was dodgy looking character in midwife uniform who came in and proceeded to poke sharp object into my buttock.

I didn't see a doctor. Just saw the epau nurse who mumbled something about it being very common when I asked what the significance was.

DoubleDiffedDachs · 03/03/2011 18:26

Hello people! :)

Audit nearly over :)

Both pups still there and looking more like tiny babies than unformed blobs :). Two heartbeats

(I've been feeling really worried cos I'm 9 weeks tomorrow and I have zero symptoms. The doc told me it was because I was lucky rather than cos there was a prob with the pg...)

Glad emoochick is also ok :)

AandRMum · 03/03/2011 17:42

Ps silly thought, did your doctor say anything about the subchronic hemo thing emoo? Dr Google loves scaring the bejesus out of us!

AandRMum · 03/03/2011 17:37

Confused emoo am having a Brian moment - drugs being delivered by taxi - images of emoo being involved in drug cartel - taxi now has blacked out windows with faint wisp of cigar smoke drifting from cracked open back window ...

Emoo · 03/03/2011 17:26

UH? Taxi driver has just delivered brown envelope containing something that I'm guessing is Anti-D. WTF am I supposed to do with that?

Thanks owl for the tip - will pop in and ask.

lovemysleep · 03/03/2011 17:22

Fab news Emoo - really pleased for you x

Talking of crumpets, I ate 5 on Wednesday - that'll be why I've put on 11lbs in 4 weeks.......and as for home-made ones, I'm very impressed. Never had the bottle to do them myself, but maybe you'll inspire me to give it a go.

nix how exciting to feel the baby move, such lovely news.

Big wave to everyone else - am lacking in va-va-voom, so off to slob on the sofa......have a good evening ladies x

owlbooty · 03/03/2011 17:22

I'm sure someone on the Grads thread had one of these a while back - might be worth asking in there?

Hurrah for the Emoobean!

Emoo · 03/03/2011 17:18

Ermmm I was a bit more relaxed until I googled it and now less-so. Thanks MummyA for the link. You are right, there is some scary stuff out there. I particularly dislike it being a risk factor for preterm delivery, as my previous one already puts me in a higher risk group. Gulp.

A&R - love the builder outfit ideas for the kiddies! School just issued all the pupils with high-viz jackets - my DD loves hers (unfortunately has inherited her mother's lack of dress sense).
