Velvet I'm taking pregnacare vits and omega 3 capsules (they are fish oils without vit A in them soo fine for pg women). No idea whether they are good or bad to be honest but I've been taking them since starting TTC and my nails are much stronger so they must be compensating for something I was previously lacking in my diet!

Glad you've not had too much brown today - long may that last!

KnitterNotTwitter · 23/02/2011 15:58

Velvet I'm taking the Sanatogen pregnancy/conception vitamins which the doctor gave me when I was pregnant with the MMC... Have just been using them up. I'm also still taking the Evening Primrose Oil.

I also had an attack of baby brain last weekend so I'm consuming lots of seeds... I once read an article that said that baby brain is caused by your body not having enough spare Omega oils in it so your baby robs your brain of them so it can develop its own.... Made sense to me. I eat these and these stirred into porrige or yoghurt. Definitely stops me doing that thing where you mix up words :)

mamapower · 23/02/2011 15:57

velvet I'm taking pregnacare, aside from the intial few days of bright yellow pee, I think they do really help keep you full of all the vital vit's and that can only be good!
As for caffine, I use my quota first thing in the morning with a large freshly ground coffee. Then I switch to de-caf earl grey or water.

hotnspicyonions · 23/02/2011 15:47

mama they lasted all of 2 minutes. Even opened wide to get crumbs Blush. Will get DP to buy extra sharing bags next time!

Mummy can we tempt you to stay with some yummy treats?? Am very fond of baking, so what can I tempt you with to make you stay??

Velvetcu · 23/02/2011 15:46

Brew has reminded me - how much tea and coffee is it ok to drink?

Only a smudge of brown for me so far today :) whoop whoop. Saw my sister this afternoon and my 10 month old niece - twas really hard not to tell her! Think I will have to the week after next anyway since we are going on a hen do together. It's so hard not to think you are jinxing things though.

Is anyone taking Pregnacare or similar? Last time I was pg I felt really awful so I started taking it then and felt much better within a couple of days but again, am trying not to do anything I did last time in case thats what caused the mmc .

I keep thinking about the fricking year 10 girl in my class who is updiffed and is sailing through. Oh the unfair irony of it all.

hello Brian nice to meet you.

dacha sorry Hun wasn't shouting at you, just want you to be kind to yourself-constantly worrying is exhausting and not a good use of your energy. I would know, I am a natural worrier too but I've had to take myself in hand and just hope for the best instead.

Omg is mummya coming???? Whooppopopooooopppp!! Grin Grin

Glad it's not just me with rage!!! That makes me feel better somehow! We should give off some kind of pheramone that makes people keep their distance for their own protection!

hotnspicyonions · 23/02/2011 14:28

MummyA come in and join the madness!! Grin

Would you like an almond & lemon muffin with your Brew?

DoubleDiffedDachs · 23/02/2011 14:25

wombie there might be a little tiny bit of potentially exciting news on t'other fred Wink

am officially not stressing about anything except work now. i shall stop posting unnecessarily stressed out freakouts for the sanity of the rest of you. Also because I'm worried about what mamap is intending to do with that fish :)

hotnspicyonions · 23/02/2011 14:24

PPPS We all love Krispy Kremes in our house (down South (said in Kat Slater accent although not actually from London!)) and normally have to take supply when going to see in laws (up norf!) Not had any for a while as expensive habit, so baked some lovely almond & lemon curd muffins on Monday to curb any sweet cravings.

hotnspicyonions · 23/02/2011 14:18

PS Pink Daisy & Nickster am also getting uncontrolable rage too. Angry Angry Angry Mainly for DP who has swallowed the "stupid saying/speak before he thinks" phrase book and I can't help but shout/yell/say something through gritted teeth in response. Also keep losing it with DS (and he's been poorly, poor mite). And dropping things, don't even get me started on that. A glass of Di Serrano ended up in the ice bucket at work last night. Luckily only a few drops were spilt. It took all my strength to not take out the infected cubes and suck with a passion!! And there was me only just saying I didn't have any sypmtoms. Jelly brain!!!

PPS According to Pregnancy Assistant app downloaded for HTC Hero on Monday, I'm 4+6 today.......

Wombat33 · 23/02/2011 14:15

What?!! Nix is there some exciting news?!?!?!!!

AandRMum · 23/02/2011 14:15

Chin up Dachs paranoia is perfectly acceptable but just imagine if you had two future 10lb beans in there and having to fire them out! Lower end of the size scale with good heartbeats sounds just perfect to me!!

Am watching Annie at the mo with DD - and have to sing 'WE'VE GOT MUMMYA '

Right phonecalls to make!!

KnitterNotTwitter · 23/02/2011 14:13

oooh MummyA how exciting....

KnitterNotTwitter · 23/02/2011 14:11

Dachs - I did double check before I posted as i didn't want to worry you/anyone.... 1mm does seem small - infact I wonder if it is just an error - but 10mm at 7+4 seems spot on to me, especially for twins....

You're fine, you've got heartbeats and these measurements are an inexact science IMO....

With DS he was measuring bigger than they expected so they moved his due date earlier but I knew when he'd been concieved so knew my dates were spot on. They brought his due date 4 days earlier and as far as they were concerned he was then 4 days late :)

Wombat33 · 23/02/2011 14:11

Oh Dachs big hugs. I'm a worrier too (as I'm sure you've noticed!) Blush It will get better xxx

nickstermum · 23/02/2011 14:09
hotnspicyonions · 23/02/2011 14:07

Good afternoon all

nickstermum · 23/02/2011 14:07

Its not that you are paranoid, (orange is the same ) you put yourself through unnecessary worry and then post about it on here :)

If there is a reason to worry then fairy muff.. if not then why do it to yourselves?

Plus also dont forget it makes others' more paranoid than normal too Grin..freaking out is fine, but reassuring others is good too :)

You really have to give yourself a good talking to and say... I have seen the heartbeats, the scan was only yesterday/4 days ago, i have no reason to think anything has gone wrong, so i must try to relax about it! I did it myself and it did help :) TBH DH told me if i kept fretting about it constantly i would will MC to happen... that kind of put me straight. Sometimes you need a sharp talking to rather than fluffy cuddles. Did me the world of good :)

pink i am suffering from the rage too... over the last few days i have been hideous :( bawled my eyes out yesterday as was snappy with DS - and thats not fair at all..Angry with myself.

Daisybell1 · 23/02/2011 14:03

Please don't snuffle Dachs, I'm sure they didn't mean it that way
