Hello!

Newly updiffed and freaking out about spotting, cramping, the wait until your first scan and each little twinge? Settle in for lots of hand holding and supprt until you're ready to move to grads.

Lots of love

Pink - link me the thread and I'll come and support you.

tonythetyger · 27/02/2011 09:06

Waves madly back at Dachs while still hoping that am double diffed or diffed at all.

Hi Owlbooty.

Wave at Pink - I agree with you on the being grateful to be pregnant. Nothing you say is going to make a bit of difference as pregnant women have a lot of trouble getting new ideas through their heads.

Lurking in slightly worried fashion 2 weeks and 2 days until next scan (who's counting?) and I'm not sure they're still there.

PinkFondantFancy · 27/02/2011 07:34

Oh dear, the rage monster did force me to post and apparently I am an unreasonable cow.... Oh well, don't actually care. In a way, I feel blessed-the MC and the wait for another BFP were one of the darkest periods of my life but it means that now even though I'm feeling permanently grim, I am still so excited at the thought there's a little person growing inside me and that hopefully I'll get to hold a baby in my arms. I think it would be a bit sad if I spent the whole (hopefully) 9 months griping and complaining, and not realising truly what a miracle it is that's happening, and maybe without the MC that's what would have happened.

emoo how's things today? The period pains are really unnerving, I've had them the whole time.

aandr I've had that same mad dash a couple of times-on one occasion I was in the loo for ages because it was a funny pink light that made it hard to tell what colour things were Confused. Luminous pregnacare wee also gives me heart racing panic when I wipe....

AandRMum · 27/02/2011 06:39

Irene I am with you. I just can't plan for the future or even a couple of weeks ahead - futile attempt to not bond just in case.

emoo has the bleeding stopped. When is your next scan?

AandRMum · 27/02/2011 06:36

Hi velvet I've done this twice successfully before and do you think I can remember anything?!! Feel like a newbie myself - pretty damp thus way too. Did a mad dash through a grotty pub to get to a loo the other day as I was certain it was all over - never prayed so hard in my life (not completely certain which god I was addressing - maybe the goddess of fertility!)

Symptoms are pretty minor although lots of action going on in my stomach - I swear I have a cake belly too pink. I imagine it is the ligaments loosening up. Ms for the other two kicked in at 6 weeks and was like having had one too many the night before. For the mc I was throwing up ill so who knows this time. I am getting strange pains in boobs as well and they are a little lumpy but not much larger

PinkFondantFancy · 26/02/2011 22:17

velvet ask away-I'm in the same boat so have been asking lots of TMI questions!! I've had shedloads of creamy/White/clear goo-apparently it's normal but has me running frequently to the loo when things feel damp....

Emoo · 26/02/2011 22:13

Velvet - oh dear about the Angry feelings - passing over a nice Brew and Biscuit. Glad the goo has improved. And - please - ask away! This is the place for freaking out, over both possibly "normal" and possibly "abnormal" symptoms. I don't know what anyone else thinks, but I'm so focused on what might be happening to me currently, I'm completely immune from moaning/insensitivity (which I'm sure you wouldn't be anyway!).

A&R - hope you got your work done!

Irene - you are in classic defence mode, like many of us I think. We've been there before, planning way too far in advance, and it makes those dates hurt all the more when they come round.

teacake - hope you're okay.

Pink - Grin at cake-bump!

As for me - I've had a quiet day. Rumblings of period pains, more brown goo but no more red, and plenty of nausea. Not quite sure what to think, to be honest. Just need to grit my teeth and hang on. We're out for the day tomorrow, and I'm dreading anything happening while we're away from home. Night night all!

Velvetcu · 26/02/2011 21:47

Just creamy coloured goo for 2 days now :)

I'm finding things quite difficult because I have never had a sucessful pregnancy so I don't know whether certain things are normal or not and I don't want to keep asking on here in case people think I'm moaning or being insensitive to those who are not doing so well.

How are you AandR? Is it starting to sink in yet?

AandRMum · 26/02/2011 21:27

How is the goo velvet?

Velvetcu · 26/02/2011 21:04

I'm not even gonna look coz my rage monster will force me to post something on there!

AandRMum · 26/02/2011 21:01

Was just there myself!!!! grrrr

oh yeah, I agree irene, D) waaaaaaay too tired!

I was just cruising around the pregnancy boards and am Angry Angry Angry at the board "anyone else hate being pregnant". Ok so I have Angry in a big way today anyway but still, I'm staggered with what selfish ungrateful cows they are!!! All their posts start with "I know I'm very lucky to conceive easily and have low risk pregnancies but....." Yes ok so you feel dire for a couple of months but so what???? So many people would kill for the opportunity to experience that dire feeling. Bloody hell.

IreneHeron · 26/02/2011 18:25

Tunnocks hugs, hugs, hugs. Hope you're bearing up. Of course you feel like that now, I hope you feel better soon.

Onion I've not dtd since bfp either. Too tired.

Emoo good thoughts your way.

aandr I didn't want to go to the doc either but the good people on this thread advised me to. The doc said it was good to go early. I've got my scans booked and my first booking in appointment but it is ages away.

I'm swinging between feeling really sick and being ravenously hungry. Scoffed some crackers and cheese like an animal, DH was laughing, I couldn't get it in my face quick enough.

This is my first pregnancy post mc, I never thought it would be this difficult to get my head round. DH says I'm a doom merchant because I refuse to plan ahead and properly acknowledge it yet. I can't let myself hope yet.

Waves to everyone I've missed.

PinkFondantFancy · 26/02/2011 17:53

tunnocks huge hugs. Can you take yourself to bed this afternoon? I agree with emoo don't think about the future yet, just take it a day at a time for now xx

velvet I've got a bump but I can make it wobble so I'm assuming it's down to the vast quantities of cake I'm eating Blush would be so exciting to have a real bump so early though. I am SO impatient! Radioactive wee is the vits but it's a bit unnerving eh?

emoo sending you empowering hugs. Conversation with DD must have been hard :( sounds like you did a fab job though.

onion NO sex drive here. Haven't DTD since got BFP. book says it's quite common and might come back around week 13 ish. A) I'm not in the mood but B) stomach and boobs hurt too much to contemplate it C) I'm worried I'll puke which would put a dampner on things!!!

aandr understand the denial, I didn't go to GP until past 8 and a half weeks (previous personal best)

Emoo · 26/02/2011 17:14

So sorry teacake, hope you are doing okay in the circumstances. Don't make any decisions until the dust has settled.

Nix - thanks - I'll try to stay as sane as I ever was.

nickstermum · 26/02/2011 15:12

Emoo sorry you are bleeding hon hope it stays away x stay sane xx

banana87 · 26/02/2011 15:05

Just quickly---EWCM last night!!! Woo hoo!!!

AandRMum · 26/02/2011 14:45

Just a quick post - I am under a horrific work deadline so I am not supposed to be on here!! Velvet I haven't made my mind up re early scan. I think I am going to try for the earliest dating scan I can get (around 11 weeks?) and see if I can hang out that long. I am guessing that something will happen (random sneeze, waking up on the wrong side of the bed, see no squirrels (my magpies Emoo!!) ) and I'll be rushing off for a scan. A friend has just reached 10 weeks, still hasn't registered with NHS but had a panic attack and went for a quick private check - all okay. She hasn't even had an mc but three friends including me have and so she is on the paranoia train with us! Tis madness I say - what happened to blissful ignorance.

Good luck with the confidence percentages!!!

Velvetcu · 26/02/2011 13:47

Hey all

glad to hear your hcg results were good mummya

tunnocks I really hope it works out for you. No bleeding and a strong positive are good signs :)

Emoo sorry you are having a tough time too. I remember Orange posting about bleeding and clots so at least you know it can still be ok.

onions I'm hearing you on the red hot poker/coat peg nips - how many weeks are you coz mine are driving me crazy already!

AandR I'm not going to GP/midwife yet either. Are you going to ask for an early scan?

We went out for a meal with a group of friends last night, one of whom is 15 weeks pg and has a huuugge bump already! The girls were all sat up one end of the table so I had to join in with all the cooing and gushing about pg/birth/babies etc etc.

I am a proper Angry monster again today - I could really sink a few beers this afternoon! On the plus side, I had a brown goo-free day yesterday and (touch wood) have had none today either Grin

I also have radioactive coloured pee but that's the Pregnacare right??

hellooo to everyone else, hope you are having good weekends

Emoo · 26/02/2011 13:08

Oooohhhh I like it... feel all, well, empowered! And thanks for picking the heartbeat 80% for me - jolly generous of you!
I hope your cramps are settling down teacake, and the bleeding stopping is hopefully a positive sign. Just try to stay as brave as you can until your scan. I'm sure it will feel like an eternity, but you will get there.
