Meant to tell you all a funny story.... On Friday when I dropped my DS off at her house I told my mum that I was 6 weeks. She's thrilled and keeping her fingers crossed. I told her to tell my Dad. That evening I phoned to see how my DS was getting on and my Dad answered the phone. After a couple of minutes chat you could hear my mum in the background reminding him to say congratulations to me. Dad turned to her and said 'but I thought it was a secret and I wasn't to talk to anyone about it?' :)

Bless him...

We've told him that it's ok to talk to me, DH, my MIL and my DSis about the pregnancy :)

Not putting my edd down because I'm not sure what it is yet, but sometime mid-October (or September if it's early like ds was).

Had a strange night. Woke up about 3am to an aching throb on the right a bit near my ovary. Wasn't awful, but found it hard to get back to sleep from mind going into paranoid overdrive.

mamap i lived in leggings til 12 weeks. Am still living in leggings now!! Anything else is just not comfy at all, i think bean is very low in my uterus and anything that cuts across hurts... even the over bump stuff!

Yey for the house mamap!! We're looking for one too. Didn't want to get ahead of ourselves by rushing into buying too early before we knew all okay with this pg. But now I'm beginning to think that if the blood results from the nuchal come back okay we're going to have to get our skates on a bit if we want to be in and settled before Sept! Oh I'm scared that I'm allowing mysellf to start to get excited. Still bleeding too, but am beginning to think that might be a permanet state of affairs during this pg. Consultant said as much yesterday.

AR baby wouldnt behave for nuchal scan, and rather than paying 300 quid for a private one we decided to wait til 16 week quad blood tests which is standard, which is what we did with DS, and were low risk with him. I wanted to spend the money having a 4D scan later on during pg if we got that far, we didnt with DS and bitterly regretted it. Wobblings normal, the only way i managed to get through it was because i had been given a new job for 3 months as PM to the integration of our biggest ever client... which has now spilt over into my FT job... kept me sane, a little stressed but kept my mind busy!

Last night i did have a bit of a meltdown, but i think it was needed. DH just didnt understand at all, and kept saying 'its bad for baby!' [helpful!]
did me good to get it out my system and i feel much better for it now. :)

Nix how did you get to 17 weeks without the downs thing being sorted yet - I thought that test was at 12 weeks? A long delay in response sounds very positive. Friend just had a downs baby with heart problem and possible leaukemia and thyroid issues - just so scary. It is playing horribly on my mind - why am I borrowing problems -

Feel bleugh today and am busy cancelling meetings from home so I can go back to bed.... Suspect this is a hint of morning sickness.... by my dates I'm 7 weeks today... hospital dates are 6+4....

Sorry for being quiet, I spent the weekend sleeping and worrying (and trying not to worry) :( then went to take some shoes in to be re-heeled and the man was rude so very uncharacteristically I burst into tears. I think it broke the dam cos I cried for about 2 hours after, then felt a lot better :)

Aye up campers! We finally got a house, baby shall have a nursery whooop! Was starting to think we'd never find one but we viewed another 5 today and the last one was the one and we've had our offer accepted, so hoping that all goes smoothly and with a little luck the house and business will be ours by April! Phew!

I had a decadent weekend of, wait for it, Mojto's of the virgin variety and I can tell you that you can't taste the difference Honestly, blooming loverly. So great I got the recipe from the bar man, anyone want it, just shout.
Oh and I am now officially huge, existing bra's are a pointless item that no longer can be worn, even with extenders, without inflicting painful marks, jeans are out and leggings are in... please please please will 12 weeks hurry up and arrive so I can buy some maternity wear!
