I really feel like we've failed again this month.

An early pregnancy test was negative today - we've got no chance have we?

Sob Choco I just clicked on this thread by accident but got hooked by your mystery cycle. I am so pleased for you. Congratulations what wonderful news after weeks of uncertainty

barmbrack · 10/03/2011 20:57

Oooooooooooooohhhhhh!!! MASSIVE congrats!!! Grin

phooey · 10/03/2011 20:53

I'm feeling quite teary after my BFN and have just stopped hysterical laughing at the idea of someone getting a 'BNP' on a 99p test emmaloupolman Grin Sorry but it made me belly laugh when i needed it!!

phooey · 10/03/2011 20:51

Congratulations!!!

I'm 12dpo and just did a Superdrug cheapo, got BFN despite feeling pg for the entire 2ww. So horrible how your body can play tricks on you. I'm just hoping AF won't come (usually 16dpo) and I'm heartened by gruffalo s post using the Superdrug cheapos, maybe they'll bring me some luck if I get some more Smile

Chocolocolate · 10/03/2011 20:47

Clearblue Digital says I am pregnant Smile

It says 2-3 weeks, but I'm not going to presume any date until I've seen a doctor.

I'm such a stress head - I'm now panicked that it's going to go away. Sad

I don't 'feel' pregnant.

Thanks for all of the congratulations.

This was month 3 of trying after an op to unstick my tubes from the back of my uterus (due to endometriosis)and remove a large endometrioma. I have an aggressive form of endo and my consultant gave me a 6-month window before she thought there would be significant enough regrowth of the endometriosis to affect my fertility again.

I'm ecstatic and terrified at the same time (can you tell it's my first pregnancy)

I wish you all the luck in the world Hope Calvary - I got BFNs until nearly 4 weeks after AF was due.

Thanks again for all the support everyone.

Congratulations! How long did it take you to concieve? Im on month two at the moment after having the mirena coil removed. Im still on my 2 week wait with 5 days to go! xx

emmaloupolman · 10/03/2011 16:42

my friend got a bnp on a test frm the 99p shop

HopeCalvary · 10/03/2011 16:34

p.s. You will not have to face your 'evil red tide of doom!' aha

HopeCalvary · 10/03/2011 16:33

No idea about your 8 week question! Congratulations though! If the cheap ones picked it up, that's a good sign! As more expensive are more sensitive!

This is the second day of my missed period, and I got a tesco digi negative. I felt pregnant yesterday, strange back ache but today, I really feel period pains. It's so confusing!

Chocolocolate · 10/03/2011 08:47

Now I'm panicked that the cheapy tests are wrong so DH is buying some pricey ones tonight - I'm terrified to take them.

Now, do you think my HCG levels rose slowing and I ovulated at the normal time - making me nearly 8 weeks?

Or did I ovulate late, making me 4 weeks?

Confused

So so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!

BFP!!!!!!!!!!!

Chocolocolate · 10/03/2011 08:44

Update.

I've been feeling really 'off' this week. Getting the period-like aches, been having difficulty sleeping and have had indigestion.

It has become part of my morning routine to do a pregnancy test but I don't hold much hope any more.

However...

This morning...

I think it would defo be worth it! Have a go, at least once with a spensive one! The only time I got a missed period that long and it wasn't pregnancy, was because I was anorexic. I didn't get a period between 17 and 24! Thank goodness God had mercy on me and I got better. Let us know how you go!

Chocolocolate · 08/03/2011 21:04

Thanks for the support HopeCalvary - I can't believe people actually said that to you!!!

I'm now at day 53 of a normally 28-day cycle with no AF and BFN. I've been getting achy low down feelings for the past two weeks so I keep expecting AF to arrive but no luck.

I'm almost sure that I can't be pregnant, but do you think it'd be worth splashing out on a more expensive test - the ones I have are off Ebay?

Is it just a case of waiting...

Sorry for spamming, but I also really feel for you with that conversation with your friend. It must have been really painful for you.

When I was pregnant, two questions people asked me used to really hurt one was 'Are ya gonna get rid of it?' Which I think is the way you talk about rubbish bags not a baby. And the other question from complete strangers where I worked would be 'Do you know who the father is?' !!!!

HopeCalvary · 08/03/2011 10:05

I meant that as an encouragement!

HopeCalvary · 08/03/2011 10:03

I didn't get a positive until the first day of the 6th week and I have a 2 year old son :)

Chocolocolate · 07/03/2011 21:31

Just thought I'd give an update:

It's now day 52 - no AF & BFN!

Went to GPs this week and he just said "This just happens sometimes" didn't even do a pregnancy test as he said that the ones at home are better anyway.

I'm so fed up of waiting Sad

A friend took me to one side to have a word today. She had unprotected sex and was terrified that she was pregnant as when she'd previously had a termination she got similar symptoms then to what she has at the moment. I wanted to be supportive, but all I could think was - it's not fair - I wish I was pregnant.

choco I have been watching this thread as it was exactly like this with dd so fingers crossed for you .

BlueCrane · 25/02/2011 16:31

choco I chatted to my doc about how soon it takes for a BFP to show up/how long it takes for the hormone to multiply and she said that in some women the multiplication can be v slow and/or the original level can be v low to start with therefore making the multiplication longer IYSWIM. I was CD35 or usual 30 day cycle when AF came last month but had been v confused with BFNs from CD30 onwards hence my query (whilst I was at the docs re. something else)...anyway, docs advice was just to keep POAS every other day and see what happens. In your case I would probably go to docs early next week if still no sign of AF as they may be able to test/help/advise and basically check there's no other reasons for AF not turning up. I've read that some people never get a BFP and yet are PG and it's only an early scan that picks it up, whilst others discovered that something had gone a bit pear shaped so def worth getting yourself checked out. Hope that's useful?

piratecat · 24/02/2011 22:23

very strange.x

Chocolocolate · 23/02/2011 21:44

Nope, I'm afraid not yet Sproglet.

No AF & bfn. I'm now on day 40 Sad

Any news yet Chocolocolate !?

TheFantasticFixit · 21/02/2011 09:58

Oh no! I'm a thread killer!

TheFantasticFixit · 20/02/2011 23:12

Hello everyone

Chocolocolarte - I'm going through the same thing but on day 35 - BFN on day 33, no sign of AF and this is the longest cycle I have had (I think - been recording for 5 months and definitely the longest since then). I just want to know either way!

Good luck to you as well - fingers crossed for both of us!
