I really feel like we've failed again this month.

An early pregnancy test was negative today - we've got no chance have we?

Just been reading this thread and i almost cried when i saw you got your BFP chocolocolate CONGRATS!!! Smile

I'm due AF on Weds, silly me did a FR today and of course BFN. Am only 12dpo though so hoping it may just be too early, but i did take it apart too hoping i missed something and all i got from that was bloody chipped nail varnish and i spent ages last night painting them Angry

I'm also on a few threads and worry i'm boring people with the same stuff!

colette · 12/03/2011 22:24

congratulations Chocolocolate Grin

FourFortyFour · 12/03/2011 17:02

My nearly 10 year old has the same date as his father and grandfather....

Chocolocolate · 12/03/2011 12:13

Aw, I'm sorry HopeCalvary Sad

Thanks FourFortyFour Grin

I spoke to my GP on the phone (he was chuffed). He's going to treat me like I'm 8 weeks as I previously had regular periods and then we'll see on the scan. With those dates I would be due on both DH & my Dad's birthday!

days past ovulation :) dpo.

I got my af today. So I'm now very confused about the whole symptoms thing. Don't know why I was so late. Time to jump off methinks! All the best to you gals! xx

FourFortyFour · 12/03/2011 08:57

I knew you were pregnant when you said on 14th/2nd about feeling period like pains. That was what happened to me so at 5 days late I did a test to rule it out. He is nearly 10 now.

CONGRATULATIONS!!

emmaloupolman · 12/03/2011 08:45

whats dpo?

HopeCalvary · 12/03/2011 00:06

Phooey, I thought it was a 'hoping to be on the november bus thread' But I am as confused as anyone!

Emma, congratulations on getting married, I hope you have a great wedding! How many dpo is everyone now? I get lost with it all. I suppose it's hard to tell! You can't always know for sure. I know some of us have quite unusual cycles.

With everything that happened today in the world it makes me appreciate every day that I have, and not want them to pass so quickly! I've been wishing all these days away so I can find out!

17DPO from Saturday. Af was due Wednesday. Had slight nausea wave today. Have had slighly less back pain. Feeling sluggish, light headed and bloated. Will do poundland test in the morning. Sorry if I repeat myself, I get confused being on more than one thread too?

emmaloupolman · 11/03/2011 19:33

HopeCalvary thank u it has been tough 18 months every time i get a bfn i just look at my ds who is 2 and smile i am lucky i have 1 child.

phooey · 11/03/2011 19:26

Hope I get confused if I post on several threads Smile so I've just joined the First Time Frolickers. Might hop on and off the November bus too, I thought you had to be pg to get on the bus? Confused I like this thread though, we might get some of Choco's luck!

HopeCalvary · 11/03/2011 19:20

poppyjen that's hilarious! Much like the 'reasons not to have an iphone' don't know if anyone has seen that? It's a page full of people's correction errors, so funny!

emmaloupolman I hope this is your month! I admire you trying for so long. You must have had so many ups and downs.

emmaloupolman · 11/03/2011 18:21

I'm learning slowly

HopeCalvary I have been ttc for 18 months Sad

Poppyjen · 11/03/2011 12:14

me too - my worst was [bush] instead of [ blush ] when I was trying to use one of the emoticons (Blush)...could have been misinterpreted so many ways..... Grin

HopeCalvary · 11/03/2011 11:48

Awwwhh Emma, I spell things wrong all the time! It wasn't really a wrong spelling it was just a funny typo, hope you don't feel we were taking the pee, no offence intended!!! Are you ttc? x

emmaloupolman · 11/03/2011 10:07

Sorry guys for my wrong spelling

HopeCalvary · 11/03/2011 10:05

OOoooohh!! Thankyou! lol seems obvious now!

[Sending waves back to poppyjen ]

In that case, I was going to do my poundland firstvue test today and save my second tesco digital for sunday, but my 2 year old was up all night with a cough, and I weed my first morning wee away whilst busy making him a hot drink :( lol ( I mean whilst it was in the mircowave!)

I'm wondering though if I'm just one of those women who doesn't get a bfp for weeks and weeks. I am tempted to just see if Af doesn't return, I'm much more confident today, and the more confident you are with your symptoms, I think the easier it is to wait as you aren't so desperate for another kind of indication if you know what I mean.

I wish we could join all the threads together! Whoever isn't on the november bus thread should get on it too :) xx

Poppyjen · 11/03/2011 09:28

Hi Hope, [poppyjen waves at Hope from the November bus]

it means "pee on a stick" Smile

Fascinated by this thread...

HopeCalvary · 11/03/2011 09:01

Oh and Phooey, I'm sorry, I don't understand POAS? sheepish I've seen it written a lot and been to shy to admit I have no idea what people are on about! LOL

HopeCalvary · 11/03/2011 08:57

Just had a really bad wave of nausea which has subsided...

HopeCalvary · 11/03/2011 08:31

Oh, and my point was, that means I was actually in my 9th week when I got a positive and 8th week when I got a negative!

HopeCalvary · 11/03/2011 08:29

Oh, really hope it's not the fat red lady for you! No red tide of doom for me yet, but trying so hard not to test now till sunday. Here's a thing too. I always thought I was six weeks when I found out I was pregnant. I'm pretty sure it was the sixth of june 2008 when I found out I was six weeks pregnant (so the hospital told me after a scan.

I concieved on 26th april 2008. And my son was born at 39 plus one day 19th Jan 2009. Only it doesn't work out.

I only had sex with my husband once that month and not before(long story). So I had to have concieved then. And if you count it, it would have made me at least 41 weeks when I gave birth. No wonder he was 9 pounds! Suprised that even though I insisted on the date of conception, the hospital seems to have got it quite badly wrong.

Did I work it out right?

phooey · 11/03/2011 07:47

Ooh Hope it sounds really positive for you, any plans to POAS?

I have brown blood this morning, not much, hoping it's implantation bleeding as am 13dpo but I usually get brown spotting in the few days before my period so not too hopeful combined with last night's BFN.

It ain't over til the fat red lady sings. Have been invited on night out, but think will stay in and have a quiet one as don't want to drink and had a rubbish night out last weekend not drinking!

HopeCalvary · 11/03/2011 00:42

Hehe 'BNP'! Gotta laugh! That made me chuckle too! I am the worst person for spelling! I think I may be dyslexic, I'm trying to find out where to take a test!

15dpo
Anyway, update, very strong cramping in mid and lower back for two days, gums still sore, still fainty when get up too quick. No af. Due yesterday!

So glad for you Chocolate! Especially with all you have been through, will be praying you have a great pregnacy and birth. And come on Phooey you can do it, and all ye other ladies!!

phooey · 10/03/2011 21:34

I mean 'BNP' is a fairly offensive political party, whereas 'BFP' or 'BFN' are typical pg test results. Amusing to find the BNP popping up on a pg test - would it mean you're pg with a racist skinhead baby?

Oh dear hahaha
