DD is crawling. The joy of joys. She is 9 months and I am going back to work.

HalleLouja · 21/02/2012 12:54

3am not 3pm. Stupid sleep deprived brain.

Icedlemonmuffin · 21/02/2012 11:47

I think I will need a holiday when we try for no3!

Jeffrey calls mini muffin 'the beast' as she likes to takes chunks out of her, we do get strange looks when we are out because she insists on calling her 'the beast' in a really deep voice and mini muffin does answer to 'the beast' which I suppose is quite worrying.

We have had lots of sleepless nights with teething and colds and we were up early watching peppa pig on the I pad at the weekend. I really miss my sleep.

HalleLouja · 21/02/2012 10:45

We will all go on holiday when Lemony tries for no 3. It was good luck for me when I got pregnant.

How is Jeffrey? I need cheering up as I woke at 3pm and haven't slept since then.

HalleLouja · 21/02/2012 10:44

Still got my fingers and toes crossed. Have you had any more bleeding or is all ok????

UmBongo · 20/02/2012 22:43

Good luck FairyG am sitting here with legs and eyes crossed and everything for you. No sex for you! I found the spotting was brought on by sex, but it did take me a few times to make the connection! After about 12 weeks it had stopped, and the scan was helpful to reassure me that all was well. Good luck for Thursday. Enjoy the bed rest - daytime tv is luverly!

Lemony - let me know when you are starting trying for number 3 and I will book another holiday Grin

Fairygodmother1 · 20/02/2012 21:05

HalleLouja · 20/02/2012 20:42

Keep away from sex. That is when I had my bad bleed and why DH wouldn't shag me when pregnant.

CareBear1 · 20/02/2012 18:55

OMG Fairy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO happy for you!!!!!

loads of best wishes and hope it all goes ok. x x x

Fairygodmother1 · 20/02/2012 18:35

I said a prayer every time I went to the toilet Smile didn't have sex so was an honorary nun for all of my pregnancy.

Forgot to say hi to Umbongo and bump before, can't believe you have only nine weeks left!

We have talked about trying for no 3 but will probably wait until next year, mini muffin has only just started sleeping through, but now has a cold and is teething. She is walking, well running, so is hard work especially as she loves to climb.

Fairygodmother1 · 20/02/2012 16:52

LOL! Have been napping & in bed all day! It's at 9am so thats good, first on of the day apparently! yes had dildo cam when looking at pcos so am pretty prepared!!!
Have my fingers crossed & may even become religious!!!

Icedlemonmuffin · 20/02/2012 15:24

Bigs hugs for you and your little pickle!

Try to relax from now and until Thursday. What time is your scan? You probably know this but it might be dildo cam, just so you are prepared. I wasn't when I had my early scan and neither was dh!

HalleLouja · 20/02/2012 14:54

Fingers crossed. As I said I had bleeding both times and have 2 lively monkeys. A bit too lively some times.

Weirdly enough since being pregnant with DD and getting my periods back my spotting has stopped. Maybe I have stopped knicker checking so much but think my hormones have gone mental....

Fairygodmother1 · 20/02/2012 13:37

Hi ya,

Bed rest for a week been prescibed. Have a scan on thursday as I'm actually 5+4!!!! She said as there's no red blood & no pain it's more than likely implantation bleeding!

Fingers crossed for a sticky bean!!!

Fairygodmother1 · 20/02/2012 06:57

Well, an update to keep my mind from breaking me apart...got up for a wee & to get ready for work, went to the loo & a ton of brownish-pink discharge, the sort I get at the beginning or end of a period.

Spoken to Midwife team but they won't see me until I see a DR. Then he needs to decide whether I need to go to EPU!

So off to Dr in about 30 mins!

Yes we can find a new home over on pregnancy & motherhood!

Thanks Um & so glad you are back!!!!!!

Spotting stopped about 12. Totally brown so old blood. My sis said totally normal & she had it with both hers. She said it would either be a one of or happen a few days. She said it happened to her at 4, 8, 9 weeks & towards the end!

Panic over for now!!!!

We went to Northumberland for a few days, exploring castles! Thought we should squeeze a holiday in before our family of 3 becomes 4. Dh and ds had to drop me back at the pub we were staying in one afternoon cos my need to sleep became overpowering and they went off to do more exploring. I think what we learnt as well as all the walking was that ds's wellies (and possibly shoes too) are getting a bit small as he was whining a bit - mind he did walk about 4 miles in one day plus castle exploring - poor chap!

I'm with you Lou, I told my mum I was quitting production after this one and she seemed surprised! I think that 3 years of heartache and a mc is enough for me. Mind you, she had a mc and a stillborn before she had my big sis, and I am one of 3. She is made of stern stuff!

Bump is doing well, not letting me get much sleep, causing sore hips and good heartburn, wriggling well, up to 31 weeks now, looking forward to seeing the midwife on thurs to see if it has turned yet, as was breech last visit, I have given it a strict talking to on that front, I don't have time for a cs scar to heal with chasing ds, and the no driving for 6 weeks bit may be impossible!

HalleLouja · 19/02/2012 13:48

PS It won't be me wanting another baby.
PPS We should stay on this fred until it runs out then if all is going well we could find a new home. Unless lemony has something she wants to tell us Grin.

HalleLouja · 19/02/2012 13:46

Well you never need to go on one again until someone wants another baby and then we will help you pack your bags!

Go anywhere nice? How is the bump?

UmBongo · 19/02/2012 11:06

All I bloody did was have a holiday, check back in this morning and WOW! Fantastic news FAIRYG! Huge CONGRATULATIONS!

Feel free to panic about discharge if you need to (there is no point in telling you not to panic!), I had quite a bit in the first few weeks, a lot of my friends had too. One was still spotting when her bump was big and wriggly!

I wouldn't cancel any appointments out of sheer superstition, I'm with Lou on that one!

If all you needed was for me to have a holiday then why didn't you say I could have had one years ago! Grin
