Congrats Biccie I can just smell that lovely baby smell from here. 9lb 1oz wow and ouch!!!!

Well done to all the runners and Envy at the weight loss.

Mini muffin is six months old and a really happy baby unless I'm not quick enough getting my boob out. We have started weaning but mini muffin prefers to rub it in her hair than put any in her mouth.

UmBongo · 27/07/2011 20:12

Hoooooge Congratulations to Biccie and welcome to James! (Not very chavvy name though!!!!Grin) Wow, 2 hours! Fast work, he is obviously very keen to get on with life! GrinGrinGrin Well done you!

I am supposed to be running tonight, but ankle is still playing up and I thought I would rest it. [cheesed off emoticon!]

Bicnod · 27/07/2011 18:13

Hello lovelies - just wanted to pop in and say that I now have a James Grin

He was born on Saturday 16th July at 7.31pm and he is scrummy [biased emoticon]

He was 9lb1oz and I had a 2 hour labour which was a bit intense - he was almost born in the reception area at the maternity unit!

I'll try and add a couple of pics to my profile.

UmBongo · 24/07/2011 17:20

Hmmm, "liking running" might be a bit strong Lou, but I do like the effects of running! Not sure I actually like doing it yet!

Other news SWI 1 cd9, so, hopefully will do some more horizontal jogging too this month!

HalleLouja · 24/07/2011 07:58

Glad to hear you chavs are liking running.

Fairygodmother1 · 23/07/2011 21:37

Yay Umb I'm just over 1/2 stone lighter since running. I always weigh with very little clothing on!!! Wink I'm happy to be at 13st 11 & on as I know i bloat! I'm running 40 mins total with 4 min runs & 1 min walk. have noticed how much more stamina I have for hills in general. DH is loving my new shape & have had lots of comments about how good I'm looking. Hoping to have a wardrobe clear out soon. When I get into the 12 stone category I think I'll need to buy new clothes Grin lol

Harrassed you can join our running club once you pop. You can eat the pork pies for us!!! Smile

UmBongo · 23/07/2011 21:10

Hooray for the 13st category! Although I am hoping to leave that soon as I weighed myself this morning and was 13 st 3 lb (as long I as I took my jeans and jumper off!) Which means I have lost nearly a stone! So apart from the bbq we have been to this evening I hope to be in the 12st section in another week if I can be good this week. My next run is for 20 mins with no walking so we will have to see!

Wonder how Biccie is getting on, she must be about due to pop, hope she comes and tells us soon!

Harrassed pies don't count if you are wearing maternity endlessly stretchy clothes - so keep going, here, have mine!

Fairygodmother1 · 23/07/2011 20:38

Hi ya chavs!!!

Sorry been in the pit all week! Yes Um I joined you Tuesday so CD5 for me now!

That also means running went out of the window. Plus it was Y6 production, leavers then I left yesterday. Am so relieved to be out of there. Also now into 13st category!!!!! Am feeling good. had a lovely nap, pamper bath & earlier did some holiday shopping as we're off in two weeks. First holiday in 4 years!!!!

Yay Summer Holidays!!!! Grin

permatannedpumpkin · 23/07/2011 17:32

Don't think I've had any cravings yet, how boring of me! I did fancy a lager shandy the other day - made do with the lemonade, not sure if that counts - very chavvy though I guess so a plus there :)

Hi Lou x

In other news... it's the summer holidays - YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

:)

harassedandherbug · 21/07/2011 10:00

Hello!!!

Lou I think they're too busy running Wink.

Dh did 6 miles last night, I think he's done my share so I'll put my swollen ankles up and eat another pork pie Grin.

Why can I not have healthy cravings?? So far: Ginsters peppered steak slices, chocolate milkshake, cheesy doritos, full fat coke and now pork pies......

HalleLouja · 20/07/2011 20:35

Just saying hi chavs

permatannedpumpkin · 19/07/2011 19:16

I'm tired just reading about you guys running, all very impressive. I walk a lot, everywhere in fact but must get back and go to teh gym - at least to swim. This time at school is just so busy - can't wait til Friday!

How are you all, any plans for the summer?

x

Fairygodmother1 · 16/07/2011 16:03

20/20 not needed yet!!! Boobs hurt so I'll prob be about 5 days days behind you! Not enough SWI!!!!

Had to extend my route again as I'm getting faster so 4 mins over 40 mins next week. When I get to running 60 mins I'll extend how long each stretch is so I should end up running the whole 60 mins!

OP posts:
UmBongo · 15/07/2011 21:55

Run 2 week 4, total of 16 minutes (2x3 + 2x5) done! Even in the drizzle this evening! Thats what happens if you put off going out for too long, it rains!

Happy Friday everyone! CD1 here so am hopping down t'pit with me cider. You got that 20/20 yet FG?

harassedandherbug · 12/07/2011 16:18

Patient in that I can deal with tantrums, watch the same dvd a million times - yes. Cope with no sleep?? Hell no!

Have added a photo of dd's finger sucking Ali G style. Was very funny!

HalleLouja · 12/07/2011 15:55

Pants your disclaimer made me smile. There I was thinking you are far more patient with these things than me... I am going to persevere with the dummy and hope she finds her fingers to suck. Ds did dummy then quite late on found his fingers and sleep at night was less of an issue. She has slept for 5 hours a couple of times so must be self settling to stay asleep that long, she says hopefully...

Spd ouch. Not nice I hope it stays mild.

harassedandherbug · 12/07/2011 10:30

All this talk of running is making me feel incredibly lazy Grin, but I've had a couple of spd twinges so I'm being very careful. A bit crap this early on!!!

Biccie!!!! How did you get so far along??!! July babies rock, I have two...... on the same day Grin.

FG sorry that they've postponed, I think you should def complain.

Lou they do learn to sleep, eventually. Sounds like you're getting the 6 week growth spurt cluster feeding . I'd start trying not to feed to sleep, or waking dd a little just so that she's slightly awake when you put her down. Disclaimer: good at advice, crap at following it. Fed all 3 of mine to sleep, brought them in my bed etc etc.. Grin.

Fairygodmother1 · 11/07/2011 21:39

Thanks Umb. Go you! I'm doing my own run plan as I felt it moved on too quickly, I wanted to build up steady. I'm now running a total of 30 mins with 3min runs & 1 min walks. Thats a killer. Am hoiping that next week I'll increase to 40 mins with 4 min runs!II live in such a hilly place that it's like some sort of croiss country event!

SWI has goine awol so maybe I'll get 20/20 out for the pit party! Think I'm due on the next coiuple of days! [hsad]

UmBongo · 11/07/2011 21:09

Sorry to hear about your postponement FairyG Good luck with having a moan at someone!

Got some more white lightening Lou - I picked it up on my run - wk 3 run 3 and managed 4 minutes instead of the prescribed 3 so feel brave enough to look and see what I am supposed to be running in wk 4 - I have a feeling it is 5 minutes ShockHmm

Fairygodmother1 · 10/07/2011 21:05

Thanks Lou! xxx

Try PALS they are the people to contact about hospital complaints. Each hospital should have one.

Fairygodmother1 · 10/07/2011 19:36

Hey all,

running going well, only two weeks left at my job, & my hospital date has been put back by a month so almost 4 years since we started trying by then. Am not happy!!! Who do you even contact about this? Do they even care???

OP posts:
HalleLouja · 09/07/2011 09:51

The other night DD slept for nearly 5 hours and I slept most of that time too... I tell you I felt human again. It might not happen again but she is doing 4 hours or there abouts. The only problem is the last two nights she has been on a feeding frenzy for nearly 2 hours but worth it for some sleep! Grin

I think I might start running again soon. I need to get some childcare so I can do it. But my mum comes so could do some then and at the weekend.

PS I am not doing this to win another baby.

PPS We need some more white lightening round here.

UmBongo · 06/07/2011 21:48

Oh, and Lou she will sleep, ds was always feeding himself into oblivion when he was tiny!
