Aye aye!!

Found you! Just a very quick one from me. I've decided to shell out on the smiley faces kit, but I'll use them to help me interpret the normal lined sticks too.

Lou I'm getting it from amazon, can you buy smiley face refill strips or do you have to keep buying the kit when you run out of sticks? I couldn't find any replacements on amazon Hmm.

Am still trying to keep up with you lot and I missed the Bistro last night. Seems like you had a great time. I'm particularly gutted that I wasn't part of the dancing. I quite like to rock out when I've had a good ole V&T. Ah well, next time! Grin

I'll be back for a proper catch up. Sending you all good vibes! x

BeattieBow · 05/02/2011 17:11

oh yes jolls grim indeed. ds loves it there. every day he asks if he can go.

(on the plus side I did manage to pop into Zara and it was empty - of course it blmmin was they were all in gymboree!).

hippychick66 · 05/02/2011 16:18

BFN this morning - surprise surprise. The spotting has turned red so hope AF is coming soon. How strange italian - the need to all menstrate at the same time is soo strong we even made your AF come back.Smile

Managed a quick SWOI this morning (before the spotting increased) - so the old man is happy and doesn't feel like I only want him when I'm ov'ing - Wink.

italian you cannot order food on a Saturday - have you not read the sign on the Bistro door????? Grin

Oh blimey, I might have to try the SMEP too. If I'm gonna give up trying soon I might as well go all out. And it does come highly recommended.

Is it too early for a Wine???

SameOldJollster · 05/02/2011 14:44

BB the square of the church hill? On a Sat? are you mad? Grin

BeattieBow · 05/02/2011 14:41

hi all, no not out yet...

but think maybe progesterone is stopping me spotting when I normally would be. which is good i suppose if I eventually do fall pg.

dh read my post before and has suggested doing the smep next time too. I hope some of the intensive swi falls at the weekend though!

have been to gymboree today - ds2 loves it. We go alot! It isn't my favourite way to spend a saturday. Now got Grazia and a coffee for half an hour or so.

hippy any signs?? of anything?

Curlylox · 05/02/2011 14:03

Yay for italian what great news for you. So do you think it has anything to do with your thyroid medication and what happens from here on? lou has been speading her positive vibes and I believe February will be a good month for at least one of us on here.

Hi Italian am very proud of how much money Georgie raised. Its a fitting testament to my darling girl that she was loved so ver much[and still is].Of course of all the people who contributed including my sister,s colleagues, sergents etc.....The only person who didn t give a penny was my MIL.This was the main reason for our big fall out over xmas and is the reason i ll never talk to her again. The old witch.

Phewee....Anyway!!!!

Yeh on AF.....I m telling you FEB is our month. We re all good to go , well kind of!!!! What happens now then Italian whats your next step?

BB your au pair sounds fab with her baking.Wink.

smep is good i like it .I think its having a structure that helps.Still not out yet????

Hope everyone is ok?

Italiangreyhound · 05/02/2011 11:23

Hi all AF arrived this morning! Almost 6 months to the day! I am delighted.

Lou well done on raising so much money for your charity in Georgie's memory, what a lovely tribute to her. and to her.

You have all written so much I can't keep up! I have not ordered in the bistro but we are having real Thai curry tonight so no worries!

BeattieBow · 05/02/2011 08:20

yes Lou I pay my au pair £90 a week and do pay for nursery for ds2 too 3 days a week, but still the most cost efficient childcare for 5 children. New au Pair is fantastic and children love her. I do wish she would stop baking cakes though...

still cramping here and no af. I didn't test this morning as I needed to pee at 5am and did it quickly before I got the stick out. Will test tomorrow though if no af and then stop the progesterone if there is a negative.

I would like to do the SMEP too, but will have to talk to dh.

Italiangreyhound · 04/02/2011 23:46

blimey, go away for a couple of days and you all move!

Love to all.

louisesh · 04/02/2011 21:21

Yeh BB we are full of optimism for this month.FEB is our month.

Hippy no probs i ll diagnose regularly for a fee!!!!! I ll start my private practice here i think!!!!

Oh Jolls I hope your son is better soonXXX Hopefully you ll have swi enough for this month and it ll be a nice birthday pressie in light of a bfp for you!!1

BB shredding sounds good .I might have to look in to it.Oh, i see about the au pair!!!!

With Georgie we were going to have put her in to full time creche care at £650 per momth. Its not cheap is it???

Curly we too, do the egg meets sperm plan!!! Did with Georgie also and obviuously got brillant results with that .Will be doing that again asap swi from cd8.

Oh, been out had 3 glasses of rose!!!! HIc!!!! Nice.Told Ant get used to this but soon i ll be on the diet coke at the pub and i ll LOVE it!!!

BeattieBow · 04/02/2011 20:48

oh yes Hippy i really want those

hippychick66 · 04/02/2011 20:25

Ohh BB I like the whole thai food thing - will have the same as BB please diege.

We might end up being cycle buddies if you turn out to not be preggers BB. My spotting has dwindled off and has not got past the brown stage yet - cue lots of HmmHmmHmm "Maybe I'm preggers after-all." etc. But deep down I know I'm not really it's just AF taking her time to arrive properly.

Might test in the morning if AF doesn't kick in BUT am really not expecting anything apart from the one line to stop me being such an idiot. I totally get what you said BB once you think your not preggers you just want bloody AF to get on with it.

lou I have personal messaged you a photo of a rash I once had plus an odd lump and a full description of my clicky neck - please diagnose asap! Wink (NOT REALLY!)

You have raised so much money in Georgie's name - well done to you and Ant. She will be so proud of her mummy and daddy.

jolls if you're worried about your DS could you get him to the out of hours doc tomorrow. There's no point in you worrying, sweetie. Big hugs to little jolly from Auntie Hippy. X ((()))

BeattieBow · 04/02/2011 19:39

oh no poor ds jolls - could it be swine flu do you think? i know a sore throat is one of the signs for it.

You are still in with a chance aren't you this month? i thought you did the deed a few times- so who knows a rogue sperm may have got through.

I haven't spoken to scary clinic boss yet since my results, but it seems that 30 is very borderline and could mean that doesn't always occur as well as the fact that there isn't enough progesterone to sustain a pregnancy if you do get pregnant. I will go and see her again though - seems silly not to get an expert interpretation of my results when I've paid for them. I am baulking at the bill though!

still cramping here, so bloody wish af would just hurry up and arrive!

SameOldJollster · 04/02/2011 19:22

Hmmm. Paella tonight I think. With a nice LARGE glass of my fave OBSB. And I think crumble (apple and blackberry) with absolute LASHINGS of cream. And then some proper fresh mint infusion afterwards (to pretend my body is a temple).

BB have heard about 30dayshred. I confess when I first saw it in thread titles, I thought it was something to do with the housekeeping threads, as in a life laundry 30 days to shred all the crap out of your house Blush. Ref Clomid, only know one person who's used it, I know she wasn't that happy with it (can't remember offhand the symptoms) but surely scary clinic boss would have talked about that with you if she thought relevant in your case? I think it's about stimulating egg production isn't it?

Have pulled the drawbridge up. Didn't get to 5SWI, DS still unwell. He's never been poorly this long :(. I started to get a bit worrywart today and fret that he's really poorly. It doesn't help that with his language delay it's hard to get to how he's feeling, and what hurts etc.

So prob not pg this month, but Feb is not a great month for me anyway. Like so many of us, I had a MMC last Feb, and have a due date of 28/2 from my last MMC. And I'll age another year by the end of the month too! Arsicles.

Right off to tidy up, after I've checked DS still breathing.

BeattieBow · 04/02/2011 18:14

i've had the 3 and 21 day tests, and now follicle tracking too. i think the progesterone is a bit low (31) but not worryingly so. I need to go and talk to the dr though so I can understand it more.

Yes, to au pair lou but no to posh! It is the most affordable childcare for us to cover 3 schools, 1 nursery and 5 children with me and dh both working pretty much full time. I have a new au pair now, but the last one kept walking in on me and dh dtd! really embarrassing.

Can anyone illuminate me as to when Clomid is appropriate? (and what the side effects of it are...)

My needs for the bistro are simple really. A lovely thai curry (with a bit of pad thai on the side) and some nice prosecco. Wine with a creme brulee for pudding please. Yum. and then a big comfy squishy chair to fall asleep in after.
oh and lou shredding is a fitness dvd - called the Shred. its only 20 minutes long, so very manageable, meant to have amazing results - you do it for 30 days - but I've only done 3 days so far.

Curlylox · 04/02/2011 17:55

Oh got one more thing to add to my order....dolmades...yum

OP posts:
Curlylox · 04/02/2011 17:53

I'm happy to share my Greek feast with you lou. Not sure if I'll be able to temp as such a light sleeper, planned to start this morning but that wind howling/blowing disturbed my sleep. Will try to temp but will order some ovulation sticks too. I'm going to do the Sperm meets Egg plan that bb suggested. By the way lou hippy's latest ailment is her clickey neck, lord knows what else she'll be complaining about when she arrives Grin Wink

OP posts:
louisesh · 04/02/2011 17:14

Mmmm.....Curly not only are we cycle buddies but can we be "food buddies" too??? That food sounds delightful.Louise hides from Curly worrying curly will notice her stalkish ways!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hmm

Arh BB know what you mean about just wanting af here already. You re posh you ve got an au pair!!!!!!! Whats shredding?

Glad you 2 are going to the drs? Are you starting with the basic 21 day blood tests or have you had those before?

HippY did i slip up by telling you i m a nurse!!!! Will i be recieving pictures of all your aliments soon???????

Curlylox · 04/02/2011 16:47

oooh you've made my mouth water diege Smile I'm craving after a kebab (can't shake it since lou ordered one last week), a nice chicken shish with rice, salad, calamari with lemon wedges, stuffed olives, kefte with tzataiki, houmous and taramasalata. A bottle of Blossom Hill Zinfandel rose to wash it down with mmmmmm yummy.

OP posts:
Diege · 04/02/2011 16:34

Hello! Haven't really had a chance to catch up, but wanted to pop in and say the bistro is open so all orders welcome.
I'll be having another (chicken)roast dinner I think (have been dreaming abut roast pots all day) with extra gravy, and a rhubarb crumble with so much custard that you can't see what's under it. Oh and a pint glass of real coke (ie. sugar and caffeine). Maybe a twix and a real coffee to finish? Is that very piggish? Blush

Curlylox · 04/02/2011 16:18

No none BB - did see my Dr in November to tell her about my irregular cycle lengths, lengthy spotting etc. She did want to do an internal but had DD with me so she did say let's see how next month goes then come back.

OP posts:
BeattieBow · 04/02/2011 16:06

curly i'm the same - going back to see the dr (although I haven't made an appointment). i don't think there's anything to say really!

Have you had tests done yet?

BeattieBow · 04/02/2011 16:04

hi all. gum i'm sorry for what you're going through with dh. fwiw I understand - my dh doesn't make such comments, but he makes his feelings know in other ways, like avoiding sex. Makes me very angry, particularly as he has said that he does want another baby. I think he is rather confused too.

Still no af for me, but some cramping which makes me think its on its way. I'll test again in the morning (because I'm obsessive) if RTD is not here. I hate this part, because even if you know in your rational part that you're not pg, there's still a little hope flickering away in there....

Oh well!

in other news, diet and shredding going well. I'll be a size 8 in no time! My new au pair (so she hasn't seen me shagging yet) is a german model. She puts me to shame with her exercising and her restraint in eating. I am twice the size of her I think. never mind, soon she'll be envying my abs!

louise how wonderful that you raised so much money - a remembrance book sounds a lovely idea. and Angry that they charged £10 in the chapel. How outrageous.

jolls are you in the 2ww now or is there one more swi to get in? I'm very impressed with 4 anyway.

Curlylox · 04/02/2011 15:53

How very fitting lou and what a wonderful way to mark the memory of Georgie.
CD2 for me too and have also made an appointment to see Dr next week, although I don't know what to say.....how silly is that!
