Gum so sorry Sad that you are moving on but hope that it will prove to be the right thing for all of your family, and that you will have peace about it. It is so hard. It is difficult when circumstances break into things and I just hope you and hubby will be at peace together about all this. You do have an incredible family. One day you put a post up about hubby taking the kids to the beach and it sounded so idyllic. I really hope this sadness will not spoil all the joy and happiness you and your hubby have with your family.

With love and hugs Smile, hope we do hear from you in the future.

muchlove · 09/02/2011 18:44

oops crossed posts with TTT - 19 weeks Shock wow!!

BeattieBow · 09/02/2011 17:46

Hi gum so sorry to hear your news. I hope you are able to come to terms with this. We'll miss you on this thread - please pop back in and see us x

Yes, my rtd did show up, and is (sorry tmi) a proper period for once, so progesterone did seem to help. I'm going to see the consultant scary expensive clinic lady next week to get a summary of my various tests, to see what she tells me I should be doing. as the upshot is that I just don't know what to do.

hi Panashe. My history (so you don't have to stalk me, and anyway, you won't be able to as I had to change my name due to a rl stalker on here)
age 40. MMC last feb - around 12 weeks, but foetus 7/8 weeks etc etc. Horrendous experience ended up blue lighted to hospital masses of blood loss etc. a year of turmoil afterwards. since then nothing apart from a couple of chemical pgs. I have had some tests recently but I think they are inconclusive. I have 5 dcs already (aged from 2-12), so am being a bit greedy I know. But also had no problems whatsoever conceiving them, so this is all very new to me.

TipTopTank · 09/02/2011 17:44

(Arrives with 3 huge jugs of Long Island Iced Tea - and sticks the Pointer Sisters I'M SO EXCITED on the stereo) I know you all know which song I mean.

Text from lunatic just now:
"Baby Boy born yelling just before 2pm 5lb 10oz"

He's in special care, as expected, but he's doing well Smile

So completely delighted I might just get on the table and dance... I know it not's the most elegant for a pg lady (19 weeks today Shock )

(Grabs Angie and hands her a big glass of Long Island Iced Tea with one of those tacky cocktail umbrellas) So sorry you are having a crap time - thinking of you always.

Love to everyone else (mwah; mwah)

panashe · 09/02/2011 16:10

Hello gumblossom , sorry to hear your news, ttc is so consuming and despite bad experiences we are forever optimistic. Knowing it just isn't an option anymore for reasons that aren't perhaps 'natural' will be very hard.

I am ok , two weeks to the day since mc and although we have begun SWI obviously I have no idea of cycle but guess af will come in the next four/six weeks

Sorry I don't know all of your histories, know that you can search but seems a bit stalkerish.
You all seem to be supporting each other and I'll keep dropping in to let you know where i am up to

x

Curlylox · 09/02/2011 16:09

No hippy whatever you do PLEASE DON'T try your jokes.......Grin

OP posts:
hippychick66 · 09/02/2011 14:07

lou I find that i always fill the bloody silences and waffle on and on. Perhaps I could try some of my jokes on them Hmm.

louisesh · 09/02/2011 13:45

Hippy see if you can get some crackers cheap now ? You may have to use those jokes!!!!!

Jolls hope things perk up soon.

Oh Hippy good luck for your interview .I hate them .However, now i sit on the "other side" and interview people that can be a horrible experience too.You know people know the answer to questions but because of nerves say everything else but!!!!!!

louisesh · 09/02/2011 13:39

Gum Will miss you greatly. You ve always managed to say the right thing.

Take care XXXXX Sad

hippychick66 · 09/02/2011 13:00

Give that little rascal Charlie a big hug and I hope you feel healed and happier soon. If anything changes at all pop back and let us all know and please please don't leave us completely. ((()))

SameOldJollster · 09/02/2011 12:32

oh gum you've just made me cry.

So sad to read your post. I don't really know what to say.

Just that I hope you can feel peace with your new "place" soon, and enjoy the lovely family and life you have.

Please pop in when you feel able xxx

gumblossom · 09/02/2011 12:27

Hello everyone. I'm just going to drop a quick note to day goodbye. I shall miss you all terribly and hopefully, when I stop feeling so shit, I'll be able to come back on and see how you are all going (hopefully all with bfp's and babies).

It seems that my DH wasn't really as clear as he should have been with me - just weak when it came to sex. He has now made it very clear that he will not ttc.

I'm heart broken and feeling the loss of my bean so much more profoundly. I think it will take some time to heal this grief, but I imagine it will heal eventually.

Now I need to look for something else to consume me, because I've been so focused on ttc.

Good Luck everyone - I do hope your dreams come true.

Angela

hippychick66 · 09/02/2011 11:39

Oh I see - SFF - Hippy finally catches on - only a page late Wink

This is just a job to keep us from being thrown out on the streets - it does not effect the move - we are still going!

Glad your little one is a bit better - it's horrid when they ask to stay home and you have to say "Go in and see how you get on, sweetie!"

Sorry to hear about hubbies hand - blimey, they will do anything to get out of DIY won't they! Hope your premonition is wrong jolls and that you are in-fact well and truelly up-the-duff.

SameOldJollster · 09/02/2011 11:26

hippy sex for fun... :) Good luck with interview. What does that mean for IOW timing?

nicole hope the gym was good. Very impressed!

DS much better, he went to nursery yesterday, though complained before we left the house, in the car and when we arrived that he wanted to stay at home! He settled quickly though and had a good day though quieter than normal. My back's much better, though am feeling on the cusp of lurgy; constricted throat, a bit achy and shivery. And then I had to take DP to A&E yesterday when he injured his hand on the house renovations... Is it March yet?

Ha ha ahahhahah! CD21 here, not a whiff of feeling pg at all.

Is anyone testing or contemplating it? BB did AF show or are you still in the game?

hippychick66 · 09/02/2011 11:06

jolls about a page ago you asked me SFF? what's that all about? What does that mean - i am Confused????

Hope little jolly is feeling better now.

lou yes that's a good way of looking at it, you're not where you want to be but you have to keep going to get there - and get there you will, my lovely.

I heard about 5 minutes of deal or no deal the other day and they were saying:- The Pessamist may be proven right eventually but the optimist has the better journey! Hmm

Feel a lot of pressure on me to be awfully funny now - but alas can't think of anything and have used up my 1 in 5 is chinese joke already Smile

nicole as Louise says, you are supposed to do the OPK's in the afternoon and you are not supposed to wee for 4 hours before using them Shock. I've had 2 babies with big old heads on 'em - I don't EVER go more than 2 hours between wees! Basically, I just try to test at roughly the same time and always use a nice strong wee sample - if it smells like an old ladies chair then you're ok to use it. Grin

italian look at you SWIing Smile Back in the game, girlie.

I am defo gonna try to have a lot more sex around the right time this month - last few attempts coming up I feel.

lou praise the lord that you have begun testing on the OPK's early - NO-ONE can cope with you wondering if you've missed the Smile again Wink.

Bye for now.

ps. I don't know if I mentioned that I was working back at the place that I used to work at just for xmas and new year. Well they let me go again a couple of weeks ago and I have a job interview for a new job on Friday. this will be my first job interview since my DS1 was 5 months old and he is nearly 11 years now. (I've always just returned to the same place every time) Arrggh - nervous? Moi? You bloody bet I am.

louisesh · 09/02/2011 10:33

Oh FFS just lost a MASSIVE post!!!!!!

Nicole Itry to use opk at same time every day.Can be very difficult i ve taken my opk to work before hand!!!! What job do you do? My cb says to not wee for 4 hours before and restrict oral fluids for 2 hours.I never not wee for 4 hours!!!! Cb says test between 11-5 not to test with first urine!!! Yes its all very confusing!!!Confused

Shame men aren t more like us!!! We had swoi last night and big cuddles so back on track. We both agree life at the moment is the worst it can be and not how we want/deserve it but we have to get through it to get to our better times.

Italian Unfortunately Ant doesn t respond to frilly undies mid you, there is plenty he does respond to!!!!! Sometimes when he gets like this i just leave him to it but at the moment i need for him not to be selfish.Hope you enjoyed your swi!!!! Wink

Just spoke to a reporter on our trust magazine told him all about Georgie and her collection. The article will go in to April's magazine.Arh.....Bless Georgie XXX

Hi all XXXX

nicole333 · 09/02/2011 08:54

Morning ladies!

A belated welcome to our two newbies and thanks for making your presence known. It's important for the world to know that it is possible to have babies when you're over forty. Hearing your stories will hopefully (well in my mind!) tip the balance in showing that it can happen more than we are led to believe.

Jollster How is your DS today? Well enough for nursery? Everyone needs some 'me' time, no matter what your situation. Hope your back is ok or at least on the mend.

Lou Big hugs to you. It's not nice to feel like you are last on the list. Sometimes I feel like men are happy for us to do all the thinking and the worrying, but we need them to be proactive FGS! Looks like your DH knows how to make up, so gotta credit him that!

You show incredible strength by just getting up in the morning in my opinion. You must be feeling a huge pressure to heal yourself. But you sound like you can both communicate with each other, which is so important when the chips are down.
I'm sure Georgies paper weight is going to be gorgeous. What a brilliant idea Smile
Can I ask one more question about your CB smiley face thing? What are the basic rules with that actual one? I work shifts so my getting up times vary, or my ability to pee and test in privacy may vary. Not that my colleagues visit the loo with me or anything, but you know what i mean Hmm

Big wave to everyone I havn't name checked. Re Gavin and Stacey...I love it! Sad to hear Doris, or rather the lovely old lady who played Doris died the other week. I loved her one liners! My favourite episode is when Ness gives birth and Daves one liner of her being a fox, before snogging her face off whilst she is having contractions! I hope to do the tour sometime this summer. I bet it's hilarious and hear that you use the actual Daves coaches coach! Grin

I've been trying to give up cut down on caffeine this week. We've got one of those expresso makers, so no doubt it's pokey stuff when it comes to grammes of caffeine per cup, but I only have one a day at home first thing. When I'm at work I grab a couple of mouthfulls of another two or three, before they go cold and have to be chucked.

Flippin 'eck, is this my longest post? I feel like I'm rambling now. It's time to get ready for the day and go to the gym.

Big love Smile

Italiangreyhound · 08/02/2011 23:19

Lou poor you, you should not be second choice after an iPod. Dance around in your best frilly undies and he will soon lose interest in his lap top in favour of a lap dance! Just don't mention sex with intent it seems to work faster than a cold shower on some men!

Love and hugs to all, AF seems to be leaving so it is my first nigt of sex with intent in a long while (since camping in fact!).

HUGS to all - sorry not to name check, got some sex to have!
Wine Wine

louisesh · 08/02/2011 20:07

Too true Hippy .....Yes Curly Hippy is our regular comedian!!!!!!

Email was lovely and we ve now made it up but as i ve told him i haven t got the energy to inject in to ur relationship at the moment.Day to day living is wearing enough at the moment.

You ll all be pleased to hear my bumper pack of opk are here1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Have started testing yes. i know its cd6.Hmm Who says i don t have a life????

Curlylox · 08/02/2011 19:25

You are funny hippy Grin

OP posts:
hippychick66 · 08/02/2011 16:46

I totally get how you're feeling but he did send an email declaring his love for you (and why wouldn't he love you - we all do! Grin) Try to forgive him soon, you are a strong team and have already been through more than anyone should have to.

But ..... I agree men are a pain in the arse and can be very selfish Angry. But lesbianism is not an option at this point lou!

louisesh · 08/02/2011 11:08

Yes Curly We re having Georgie's ashes made in to a paperweight.Going in March then we can place her on the fire place in our living room and keep her close to us.Smile

Hope everyone s ok?

Pissed off here.Big row with Ant last night , well and the night before. He s always been selfish but seems to becoming more selfish.Last night i wanted swi leading upo to swi later in the week but i of course was left to the end!!!! After he went on his x box, laptop and i pod he came to bed "knackered" .Then declared he was too tired for sex.So as i told him i m always left to the end of the day after he s done whatever he wants as opposed to making/spending some quality time with me.

Why are men so selfish? So i ve told him he better be ready for tonight and the rest of swi but i m sick of being the only 1 to make an effort with this relationship.

He s now sent me a lovely email......declaring undying love which is all very sweet but lets see if words turn in to actions.

Hope you re all having a better day than me XXXXX

SameOldJollster · 07/02/2011 21:00

BB how funny! His initials aren't TN are they...? Frinton's great, are they still resisting the Golden Arches there? We have watched FAR too much CBeebies and Thomas DVDs in the last week. But still haven't solved the Mrs Tumble query Grin... Let me know how the A$£ra goes.

lou and curly that looks like a lovely concept. Really lovely.

have just seen that lunatic has a section scheduled for Weds... how exciting.

Am hoping DS is well enough for nursery tomorrow - I really need a break. It's been very full on for a week, constant cuddles and winges, and with DP fully occupied 24/7 on the house renovation (as he has been for the last x years HmmAngry) it's been relentless. That sounds bad :( Blush, but I need a bit of me time.
