Morning, hope you all ok. Am afraid this is a bit of a woe is me post Sad

Have got really bad back ache, and tummy ache and feel like provoking arguement with anyone I feel so irritable.

Three and half weeks since mc so guess I am mentally preparing myself that af could come in next week or so. I don't want it to Sad because then thats like the realisation Yep I'm not pregnant. Feel like I have been in limbo since mc, not pregnant not tcc, as not in sync with cycle, and am hoping (stupid I know) that I might have just got pregnant again.

Have had so many dreams about babies and really vivid dream my 3 year old nephew drowned when in my care.

I know its just a bad day and I actually feel better just writing it down. sorry x

Italiangreyhound · 19/02/2011 00:40

Oh yes, Pyella is the star from A matter of loaf and death - not a Spanish meal!

Wink
Diege · 18/02/2011 21:09

Paella Wink. Ok, ok, it's all coming, Jolls cheescake may take a while. I will have a big crunchy chicken burger, nandos style, with piri piri fries, and a large cappucino creme brulee. Fizzy non-alcohol wine and a large M&S whote mountain bar. Mmmmm....

Italiangreyhound · 18/02/2011 20:55

Pyella (how do you spell that??) and for dessert a slab of Cadburies chocolate, please.

Brew Wine

SameOldJollster · 18/02/2011 20:43

Right is the Bistro open or what??

I actually had a big lunch out with a friend (Ginger F0x, BB have you been?), so would just like a Bouillabaisse with some very crusty bread... and then a slice of blackcurrant cheesecake and a generous pour of runny cream.... tvm.

Hope everyone doing ok xx hippy hope littleHipp doing better, poor thing :(

BeattieBow · 18/02/2011 16:10

nothing so exciting - it's a fitness dvd! dh wants to get fit so we do it together, but he is too exhausted afterwards for any other activity Wink

TinaO99 · 18/02/2011 15:57

sorry what is shredding?????? Does it involve the use of a certain poular brand of breakfast cereal (ooeeerr kinky)

hippychick66 · 18/02/2011 15:26

BB when you say that you and your DH shredded I always imagine a sci-fi kind of skin removal (Dr Who style) Grin

yes, gum your body caried on with the pregnancy and that doesn't suggest a prog problem at all. Hang in there, my dear.

diege yes I think you should lock up your DH - i think we all should - that BB is a minx Smile

DS has not thrown up since the spectacular show at 2.30am. He is begging to go to the disco but it wouldn't be fair to all the other kids.

Diege · 18/02/2011 13:45

Hi! Gum I would also say your prog levels are fine. Think low level are linked moe to chemical pregnancies/early mcs?
Hippy that is a bad night Sad. The sort that makes you appreciate uneventful nights all the more. At least you got the swi out the way though Grin. How is ds now?
BB I'll make sure my dh is locked away f you're ever round these parts mid-cycle Wink. I know what you mean though Grin
Tina, good on you for holding back on testing. I will carry on temping but am steering clear of the sticks. No testing on cd 8 this month, no siree!

panashe · 18/02/2011 13:43

Beattie Grin at random men !! I am just the same, everyone appears more attractive and I feel like a dog on heat, must be bodies natural desire to procreate...

BeattieBow · 18/02/2011 11:56

meant to put hippy not "hippy"!

TinaO99 · 18/02/2011 11:46

one week tomorrow since ovulation but i haven't had any symptoms yet - af due in around 8 days, am not going to test until it's actually late this time!

I'm convinced that at some point very soon i will have a bfp! (oops nearly wrote bnp then!!!)

BeattieBow · 18/02/2011 11:39

oh what a lovely night you had "hippy" !

It's very useful having ov pains isn't it? I wish I did. One of the main signs I get is that I start fancying random men on the train on the way to work. That happened today, so I'm guesing Ov is not far way now, but no smiley face yet. (our bodies are very clever aren't they? I also worked out that even without swi in mind I start wearing skimpier clothes and feeling like I'm some kind of goddess at that time of month - I'm not looking foward to the menopause in that respect).

we shredded last night, will be swi tonight (dh can't manage both bless him!).

who's the closest to testing now?

hippychick66 · 18/02/2011 09:28

gum I'm sure your progesterone is fine. You got preg and sustained it for weeks - all signs of good progesterone.

I know you love your suppliments but would be wary of the yam thing. I've read it's not a good idea (I think Confused) Check it all out with your doc won't you?

diege so glad to hear you are nearly back in the real world. (the real world being here in cyber space Grin)

I'm off for some toast and Brew - gotta eat in secret so DS2 doesn't see me and start asking for food - not a good plan right now!

hippychick66 · 18/02/2011 09:23

I was wearing it early to ensure a good result later - it worked Grin. I did think that the boys might wonder why mum was wearing a vest top with her jeans in the middle of Feb - just shows they don't take much notice.

DS2 was spectacularly sick at 2.30am Sad The poor thing didn't get much warning and was sick on the floor between the bed and the door hence he ended up trapped in the room and unable to get to the bathroom. DH passed a bowl over the sick (sorry if you're eating). Unfortunately the bowl he passed had been in the bathroom and was full of the little spacers he's using to apply the tiles to the wall. So a bowl of sick with plastic spacers floating in it - DH joked, "Who fed him those?" Ha Ha.

So DS2 is ill AGAIN and has to miss the school disco tonight and DH needs to go to B&Q for more tile spacers.

I had chronic heartburn (so i defo was ovulating) and had to bend over and clear up some stinky sick - Is Anyone Envy??? ANYONE??

hopefulgum · 17/02/2011 23:46

Hi!

Is anyone using wild yam cream? I've just heard so much different stuff about it - that it is great for a natural progesterone boost, then I've heard it won't make any difference at all. I bought some from the health store yesterday, but when I got home saw that it also has sage oil in it - and I've heard that sage is a herb that can cause uterine contractions, so best to stay away from it during pregnancy! Argh! Did I waste $20? I don't know if I want to use it now!

I think I'll get some progesterone testing done next cycle if this one is a bust. It'd be better if I know for sure. I have a 12 day LP, no spotting, but my temp does drop about 3 days before AF and that can indicate LP defect (I think I might read far too much!)

Hippy is the dodgy tummy feeling better? I think it shows true dedication to go ahead and SWI when you both felt a bit unwell! True Grit!!

Much - sorry to hear of your family bereavement.

I must run - have to do the taxi service to school today.Usually DH does it on his way to work, but he's still on camp.

Oh Deige - I won't be at the bistro tonight - have got a harbour cruise hen's night - will be such fun, but don't know if I'll drink much.Maybe one glass of champas. I'm 4 dpo today.

Diege · 17/02/2011 21:15

Jolls, it is shit, you're right, but on the positive side if we all carry on going like the clappers as we are doing there are more chances of it happening than not. I was thinking as I was walking home from the station that I'd be quite smug and pleased with myself if I was a teenager and wanting to avoid pregnancy (ie. all that shagging at the 'dangerous' times and still no pregnancy...)
Hippy, hope you are gearing up and that you're not too cold. Could you put a cardigan over the top or would that spoil the effect? Grin
I am also getting ov pains and loads of EWM too, but ovulation has def been and gone (by temps and opks). Maybe a bit of a delayed reaction - wouldn't surprise me..I'm sure everyone will be pleased and relieved (for their own sakes too so I can shut up about it Wink)that I have only 44 scripts left to mark Grin OH and get thinking about bistro orders for tomorrow!

SameOldJollster · 17/02/2011 20:46

PMSL at hippy doing bedtime routine in seduction gear Grin.

Another lovely day today with DS who is behaving really well at the moment Confused. But a few HmmAngry moments at easy pregnancies everywhere I look :(. Trying to say positive, rational and realistic about what the future holds. Shit isn't it?Grin

Hope everyone ok xx

BeattieBow · 17/02/2011 18:42

apparently it can lengthen luteal phase or summat too.

ha ha vest top! it's only 6 o clock aren't you still in the midst of tea/bath/bed?

hippychick66 · 17/02/2011 18:01

BB I thought clomid was for people who don't ovulate?? You do, don't you??? What's the thinking behind it all.

Have serious Ov pains and am wearing a vest top - bloody freezing Wink

BeattieBow · 17/02/2011 15:15

muchlove so sorry about your bereavement and your rtd too.

curly hope your trip to the doctors is productive. Are you asking about fertility issues too?

diege no I am meant to be taking clomid next cycle, so I'm kind of secretly hoping I'll get pg this time and won't need it! But I have to go back on day 2 of the next cycle and take it then. I haven't really don't any research on it yet, but have heard that it can actually cause your lining to get thinner, so I am a bit apprehensive. Also I think there are mood swings, and an increased chance of twins, so I'm not 100% sure about it! Will think about it more at the time though I think. It's easy for me to say because I'm coming up to ov, but I do feel ok at the moment about the thought of not being pg. But will probably feel differently if AF arrives of course.

Curlylox · 17/02/2011 14:11

Sorry to hear about your family bereavement much, can relate to how you feel as also had a family bereavement, I'm sad of course but really feel for my cousins and my Grandmother (she is now the last of the siblings).
Again just popping in as off to the Dr's shortly, feel a bit Confused about what to say really, silly isn't it?!
By the way, I don't feel it will be a bfp for me this time, yes I've been swi, had a positive on a opk but just feel it was a hit and miss............might be me still on a downer I don't know. Anyhoo will catch up with all your news later.

Hello! Still in the thick of it work-wise I'm afraid, but wanted to say hi Smile
SME plan amounted to the grand total of 2 swis for me this month, with dh being away - so that's the day before ov and day after Hmm. Have stopped takling the B6 as per BB's instrcutions, but just wondering why you have to? Confused Anyone know?
Have been reading through but not having the chance to post. Very quickly, sorry about af Jolls Sad,but as others say you do seem to be taking it well (well, as well as anyone can) x
Lou stay strong my love. As Hippy says your time will come for sure x
Gum fingers crossed, and so glad that you and dh resolved things. I had a feeling you would Smile
BB are you def starting the clomid then?
Hippy agree, scarily synchronised! I appear to have ovulated on the day of the pos opk, which is actually usual for me. Are you still swi?
Great to hear from you, she who cannot be named. I'm sure your scan will be fine x
Big hello to everyone else - Italian, muchlove, Curly, Tina, Lol, panashe and anyone else I've inadvertantly missed x
