Adding my Stats. If everyone copies and pastes and adds their info we'll get a nice long list of everyone.Galwaygirl used to do it for us...are you out there? How are you?

louise, I'm thinking of you.I hope you have good news from the blood test. It sounds like your progesterone is fine, judging by your AF. Hang in there.

So, here's the list so far:

Jollster: 43 (a few days ago so still in mourning grin), one DS 2y9m. TTC#2 since June 09, 3 MMC all around 11-13 weeks. Recurrent MC tests all clear, now TTC again, on month 5 (longest I've tried without a BFP).

Lolfactor 44 (45 in march :-/) 3 teenagers. ttc since Jan 2010 - 3 cps so far.

Hopefulgum 44 (45 in Nov) : 5 DC: ranging 19yrs to 2 years.ttc since May 2010, mmc 10 weeks Dec 2010.

Lou I am so very sad to hear of the loss of your little baby girl. My 22 week loss lived for a while which I struggled to come to terms with. She was called Emma and was also born on October 10th in 2005. My consultant was the only person who seemed to have faith in my ability to have a healthy pregnancy. He looked at the Post Mortem results and all the blood tests and all that seemed amiss was that I have factor V lyden which makes my blood prone to clotting. He said that this was not the cause. I was advised to take 75mg of aspirin a day throughout any further pregnancies which I have done. He said it was simply bad luck - no reason.

lolfactor · 27/02/2011 22:44

Lou if things don't go your way, you must get the best advice you can about progesterone. My dr says it would be silly for me to take it and prolong a non-viable pregnancy. That said, I'll never know if it was my hormones or the baby which caused the cps. I'm hoping you get some answers that will help you. You deserve better than this ((( )))! My thoughts are with you. Keep being brave.

For newbie (hi all!) roll call started by Jolls (hiya!)
Lolfactor 44 (45 in march :-/) 3 teenagers. ttc since Jan 2010 - 3 cps so far.

Good luck to the 'movers' - know how stressful it is. The estate agents should know all the school stats - and the Good Schools Guide has info about entry probs for each school (ie oversubscribed). Think it's online now.

Just finished cp/mc afterbleed so hoping to pick myself up and start again this month. Fingers crossed for us all x

randomimposter · 27/02/2011 22:08

Ok wondered as we've got a few new friends (coaxed in by me inviting random and possibly strange lovely peeps to join in our little chat Grin) whether we should just have a little rollcall? Useful as an aide memoir...:)

Lots to read back on...
lou big squeeze - you know we're all willing things to be ok.
hippy can't believe you never told me you were moving... . Was in Herts today, thought of you.
Lovely newcomers, will read back and catch up. Glad to meet you x

BeattieBow · 27/02/2011 21:12

nicole I used cb smilies for the first time this month and really liked them! I've never had a + on a cheapie one. But if it works for you, you'll save loads of money!

BeattieBow · 27/02/2011 21:03

hi all,

lou I'm so sorry if this is a cp. it's shit Sad

Welcome onEdge hope your stay here is short and sweet.

Hi oohshiny not sure I've said hello to you yet Smile

As for me i think I'm about 7/8 dpo. Haven't tested yet, and am thinking that I won't actually. I've had a coouple of cps too and for me I'd prefer not to know I'm pg. But of course, whether the resolve holds out, while I've got a couple of FR tests sitting upstairs, who knows! Boobs do feel sore actually, but I think they do every month! have felt a bit pissed off and angry today for no reason and that could be pmt.

More occupied with possible move to London. Wondering whether its just to selfish to move just for my comfort. Anyway, dh has admitted he really hates his job out of London and thinks he needs to move jobs to london to be happy at all. But the whole school thing is a nightmare. I can't get any indications of school vacancies until I have an address and its too risky to move there not knowing about schools. have sent hundreds of emails though this weekend and hopefully will get some info soon. hippy is the school situation in IOW easier?

louisesh · 27/02/2011 21:02

Hi Hippy thanks just about managing to breathe!!!!
Sounds like you re doing well with your house.I didn t realise you liked the IOWWinkWink!!!!!
Sorry you feel af is on her way its a pile of shite.

Hi Nicole did understand what you re doing with your opks i think!!!! Thanks XXX no i ve never had any implantation pink cm before in any of my [oh lets see] 5 pregnancies..

Thanks all XXX

hippychick66 · 27/02/2011 20:23

Just popped on to make sure all was Ok with lou and am Sad to see that it might not be going well for you. I will keep everything crossed that you just didn't have a strong enough wee sample. Hugging you so (virtually) tight right now that I am suprised you can breath, my love.

nicole Hi there matey. XXX

Hi to the newbies.

Sorry not to type more - Dh is hovering and waiting to start a programme on catch up.

I've had more spotting and my boobs feel like my own so think I'm out for this month. 8 Months with no pregnancy - God, what a flippin' bore all this is.

House nearly ready to go on market - I'm moving to IOW jolls incase you wondered. Grin

nicole333 · 27/02/2011 18:38

Lou You had some pink CM at around implantation time, is that a regular thing for you? Or can you pinpoint it to pregnancies for you?
What I'm trying to say is so far it's looking more positive than negative. I know the lines are faint, but don't give up hope. AF hasn't arrived yet and you know it aint over till the fat lady sings. Really feel for you.

Apologies for not logging in my tired brain who was asking about cheapo OPK's. I got a fantastic and cost effective idea on this thread that worked for me this month...Cheapo sticks from Amazon, then bought a CB smiley face. I used a normal OPK but I wasn't sure of the strength of the result, so then immediately used the CB smiler on the same sample. It gave me a smiley face. Now I know how to read the cheap ones correctly and won't be spending more than necessary on the smilers. Blimey, I'm knackered, did that make sense?

I have a question. I'm taking magnesium and read you need to take B6 with it. Do I take them both everyday all month? Or do I need to take them just from ovulation to AF or continue through AF? confused.com Hmm

Hello to everyone including our newbies we're really building up our thread now! Grin

louisesh · 27/02/2011 17:22

Sorry its OnEdge not oneedge !!!!

Also excuse my spelling above its disgraceful!!!!

louisesh · 27/02/2011 17:16

Hi Gum my periods always regular normally last about 3-4 days not normally any spotting just starts.I had accunpuncture last year might go back to it.Ye a reasonable flow,i had my 21 days bloods tested 2 years ago pre Georgie and it was fine but.....

Diege thanks XXXX I too feel equally angry and sad.

Hi ooohshiny Thanks X

Panashe af due between tomorrow and Wednesday.Know everyone says "don t test early" but we all know er all do.Wink.Glad i have as if this another CP and i hadn t have tested i would never have known i 'd got pg again. X

Thanks Jolls ((()))X

Thanks Much i will definatley ring my consultant about re-occuring CPs as can t keep having this.Interesting that gpss can prescribe progesterone but as mine are only general preactitioners didn t know anyhthing about stillbirth etc.....don t have much faith in them.X

Thanks Oneedge and welcome.I didn t get chance to say HI before.Your story is very interesting.I ve had a mmc at 12 weeks,1 mc at 8 weeks,2 cps prior to this and my dd was stillborn at 41 weeks in October 2010.

I had Georgie [Georgina] on 1oth October 2010 didn t ovulate to December pos tests very faint so knew it wouldn t last 4 days later i started bleeding.[I also had a CP in Dec 09 , the month before i concieved Georgie].Didn t ovulate January ,ovulated Feb 10 dpo BFP.This time lines were strong from 11dpothen stronger on 12 dpo then implantation bleeding on 15 dpo fainter line on 16 dpo fainter on 17 dpo.Normal cycles about 28-29 days.

So, in summary!!!, my last cp was at 31 days [4 days after af due].Its the faint lines worrying me as this is the way it went before and i know realistically that hcg must be dropping for the lines to be fainter.Sad

I ve texted some of my work colleagues and i m popping in tomorrow am before clinics for a blood test to check my hcg levels but i know it ll be low.Sad

Don t see how this can be a viable pg if lines are faint due to declining hcg levels.Would love it to work out like your son , the story, but just don t feel it will. Thanks XXX

Diege · 27/02/2011 15:39

Oh Lou I'm so sorry you think this is happening again Sad. If indeed it is another cp, then the only bit of good to come out of it (other than the fact that you seem to get conceive very easily) is that you can now confidently explore options with your consultant, if there does appear to be a problem. Sadly though as Gum says, it may indeed be bad luck. I'm feeling really sad and cross on your behalf in equal measures. PLease take care and come on and rant away because we're all here for you xxx
Onedge welcome to the thread and thanks for sharing you experiences. Sorry to hear about your mcs Sad but great that you have 3 LOs (I had 3 under 4 at one point so know where you're coming from Grin)
Still eeking out this LP - if af stays away until tomorrow it will be 11 days. Boobs def softer and less sore today, so not going to bother wasting a test (found 2 lurking amongst my ov strips, the cheek of them).Writing a lecture now as at hospital all day Tuesday with a friend who is very poorly (that's a whole other thread!)
PLease take care Lou - am thinking of you my love xxx

OnEdge · 27/02/2011 14:17

LOU forgot to mention I have 3 kids now. All under 3 Shock

OnEdge · 27/02/2011 14:15

Lou Can I just tell you what happened to me in the hope that it will make you feel better?

I have had 4 MC. Apart from the 22 week one Sad, I had a positive test then a little bleed. That would prompt an early scans which would eventually show there was no heart beat etc and would have an ERPC.

BUT BUT BUT !!! I then had a positive test, and the usual bleeding/pink discharge etc. Went for scan and there was a heartbeat and I went on to have a healthy pregnancy. Then again with my next two, positive test, pink - blood - healthy pregnancy. So actually the pink/blood thing was nothing to do with my MC, just the implantation bleed because I have had it with all 7 pregnancies the same.
And as for the feint line. I was an obsessive tester, my DH said I did them like scratch cards Grin

I found one in my wash bag on holiday in France and just randomly did one which had a very feint line. So feint that non of my family could see it and I had to stop going over to the window to look at because it pissing everyone off.

I did more tests for two weeks with no line at all then finally I got my line back and that was my son.

Is it the line going fainter = lowering hcg levels that is making you pissed off ? Have you had experience of this happening before? (obviously you have sorry) How many times ? And at which stages ?

OooohShiny · 27/02/2011 12:10

Keeping everything crossed for you LOU and hoping you just have watery pee

Trying desperately hard to remember everyone in here and so far failing miserably so hope no-one minds me just doing a catch all 'morning wave' and hoping everyone has a good day

AF arrived this morning for me with alarming precision so although I'm disappointed I'm pleased that I've now had 2 very precise cycles of exactly 29 days after 9 months of nothing at all. I need to get my arse in gear though now and start temping maybe and trying to work out when the hell I'm ovulating...that's if I actually am - apparently DEPO can arse that up considerably also Angry

Has anyone had any luck with cheapo ovulation pee sticks??

Anyway, I'd best nip off and finish my mum's birthday present....since she'll be arriving in less than an hour Shock

muchlove · 27/02/2011 10:41

Oh LOU .....if this is a CP (I fking hope not) yes you most definately must go and see a consultant and try to get to the bottom of things...... with regards to needing progesterone as GUM says yes you can get your 21day bloods done but I have to say I had them done during a PG cycle and the level was 65.7 which was quite ok (I thinkConfused) and it still went tits up for me..... If you are going to supplement with PROG then I think really it should be taken 2 days after OV ???? just to be on the safeside, it doesnt do any harm anyway........if you were having fertility treatment i.e IVF ...IUI..they would automatically put you on Prog anyway
You can get Prog supplements from your gp.........but unfortunately sometimes its just unexplainable why these things happen......

I really really hope that this is gonna be ok for you and I am sorry that you have to be going through this turmoil I really am....sending you a big hug and lots of love xx

panashe · 27/02/2011 10:34

lou when is af due ? Testing early is so tempting but does cause so much heartache. You just got to hang in there (((hugs))) xx

randomimposter · 27/02/2011 10:15

lou big squeeze for you. Lines are often misleading in strength (pee etc) but I know you're worried. You know your body best. Wish I could help more.
"For today you are pregnant". xx

Running horribly late so must dash but couldn't not post.

hopefulgum · 27/02/2011 09:48

Oh Louise, it certainly isn't fair! Gosh, I hope this isn't a CP.

I believe it is progesterone that thickens the lining. Perhaps your consultant will suggest getting progesterone levels tested at day 21? I've never had it done, but do wonder if I need to.

How are your periods? Do you have a reasonable flow and for how long? In traditional Chinese medicine all of these things are considered, and there are many things - herbs and acupuncture that can help. How's your L.P? Usually a progesterone deficiency will show up as a short LP (10 days or less) and spotting before your period arrives.

In Traditional Chinese medicine, they work on your lining in the first part of the cycle.I've been reading about how to nourish the blood - particular foods to eat ( seaweed, wheatgrass, plums, pears) etc that should help thicken the lining.I don't know how you feel about acupuncture? It may be helpful.

But right now, you just need a big hug and reassurance. I'm so sorry you are traveling this shitty road.I wish I could do something to help.

louisesh · 27/02/2011 09:00

Well i think it looks like ANOTHER cp.Line fainter still this am....thats not right.Sad.Clearblue still says "pregnant 1-2" but i think its only a matter of time.

Fucg pissed off with this.Think i ll have to in touch with my consultant to see what i can do.Why is my body so fucg shit? Why can t it just hold on to these beans?

Gum is it progesterone i need to thicken my lining? Need something as every fuc*g time i get pg i m having a CP.

What makes it all worse is the one time everything was perfect some bas*d up there [????where] decided she couldn t live. Its soo unfair. As you [whoever you are???] took Georgie away surely you should let us have 1 sticky bean but you re not and its soo unfair.
