JugglingMama · 01/03/2011 12:55

Hello Hello! I just heard about this thread on another one I was on. Im 41, 42 in August, currently almost 13wks pgt. I have one ds aged 2y8m, a real monkey. I had 1 mc 10 years ago, and 3 in a row last year. V soul destroying. I have been a basket case of fear and nerves this entire pgcy up unitl last Friday when i had a private 12 wk combined test and scan - saw baba jumping around and tests reduced all my risks to that of a 28yr old. Rock on older gals!
I was prescribed aspirin and progesterone at 7wks, not sure if it helped but maybe? all my mcs were 5-7.5wks. Good luck to everyone..x

BeattieBow · 01/03/2011 12:04

I know, it's moved really quickly. Am looking at 2 primary schools in N London!

We hope to keep our house in B - there is a basement flat which we could all lodge in and rent the rest of the house out. (we'll only rent in L to start with). But it's very scary.

TinaO99 · 01/03/2011 12:04

hi again lou yes indeed we both are! Am hoping I pick up some of your vibes lol

randomimposter · 01/03/2011 11:30

bloody hell BB, you've really got shifted!!!! Where will you live?

BeattieBow · 01/03/2011 11:19

Hi all. lou so pleased for you!

I'm out this month I think. After the shorted LP ever, started spotting yesterday and cramping today (around 10dpo today possibly less).

Do feel a bit fed up actually, because after spending so much money my LP is still short and my period will probably be 2 days still. grr.

on the upside, I don't have to wait long for swi time to start again, and I won't be pg (much) in Vietnam! I am starting clomid this time too and another monitored cycle so might be pg with triplets anytime!

Hippy Diege any news?

Oh and I've found schools for 3 children in London! V excited. Looks like it will happen for us over Easter. EEk. (small problem of dh's job and a school for ds1, but they might stay behind in B for a little while).

louisesh · 01/03/2011 11:18

Thanks Jolls maybe i can shimmy some of my positive fertility vibes around...I need "journey* buddies!!!!!

randomimposter · 01/03/2011 11:15

Diege · 28/02/2011 20:15

Eh??? Moving?? must have missed that one...Any where nice?

Diege · 28/02/2011 20:14

Lou excellent news!!! Grin Grin Grin. Now for the love of god woman stop testing!!!! I'm surprised you even produced any line at all over the weekend with your constant weeing Grin
I think I may wait a day or two before testing - just because the tests I have aren't esp sensitive and should be used when af is late. Now on paper my af is late going on past form, but not really late if they're looking at the normal 14 days post-ov late. So ahem yes, will test end of week GrinOh and curly is right Lou - we're locking the door and throwing the snug key away until you have your baby!

hippychick66 · 28/02/2011 19:22

I meant DO IT in caps and bold but it didn't work Blush

Secondary school results getting emailed to me tonight but I don't really care what local s chool we get cos we are moving (did I tell you?)

hippychick66 · 28/02/2011 19:19

lou phew on the bold second line. Now stop testing, for the love of all things holy!

ShockShock at the fact that my whole fire alarm/smear test thing did actually happen - WHY DID YOU TELL ME THAT???? Grin

diege please wee into a pot tomorrow morning (nice strong sample) put one of those tests you found in it for about 20 seconds, wait 5 minutes, look at the results and post them on here - DO IT WOMAN!

SHOUTING a lot tonight arn't I.

Off to a friends for a good old natter now, always enjoy seeing her and usually keep chatting until about mid-night. See you all tomorrow.

PS. diege - DO IT.

Curlylox · 28/02/2011 19:19

Fantastic news lou, we can beathe a sigh of relief now, phew. I know you'll stick around until maybe the 12 week mark but we insist you stay until the very end.......that is until we've all had BFPs and are holding babes in arms Smile

Diege · 28/02/2011 16:29

And that's interesting about old blood - who'd have thought it!

Diege · 28/02/2011 16:29

do you think they would wheel you out on a trolly with blue paper towels across your bits, or would you have to stagger? Now that would be a test of the old pelvic floor. I'm now worrying that, if I am pregnant, I will be harbouring nasty cells for 9 months...honestly, it's just a never ending onslaught of worry!
