hello knitter
Glad to see it's not just me whose DH is driving them FRIGGING nuts....He has a bit of a cold (groan), and so has been doubly useless. I got really cross with him, as he doesn't ask me how I am, or offer to help with anything - he's also one of those that leaves a trail of stuff behind him. By no means am I some anally-retentive tidy freak, but I try to live in some semblance of tidyness.
Got to DD bedtime yesterday - I'd been feeling sick all day, and had hit that wall of horrible tiredness, and when I ask him to put her to bed, he's like "I'll just finish my lemsip first" (with a pathetic face). She needed to go to bed and he takes forever to drink hot drinks - so had a tantrum, and did bedtime myself. Just told him he's gonna have to buck his ideas up - I'm hormonal, steroids make you grumpy and I'm a bit mental through worrying.
He better get himself sorted - am currently eyeing up DD hobby horse and wondering how far I can shove it up his arse, if he annoys me anymore....
banana87 go for it! if it instinctively feels right for you to try Dr S, then do...you may come back fine, but at least you'll know and feel more reassured.
Whoever asked about tapping, just remember that before you start the tapping, sit there and picture the emotion that you are feeling. Rate it 1-10. Then when you do start tapping, try to keep hold of the emotion. After you've done 1 round of tapping, you'll find it will have dropped - do as many rounds to get it down to a 1 or 2. My therapist says that this is the important part of it. Good luck - it is a brilliant tool - you'll feel super-relaxed after using it.
Right, sending sanity and relaxation vibes to all you loons xxx
