Fuck - just deleted my post!!!! AAAAAAARRRRGGGHHJHHHHHHHH!!!!

pink and Dachs hoping you are both fine. Some people don't have loads of symptoms, and I am furiously totting mine up, but it means very little, as none of my symptoms disappeared when I had all 4 of my mc's.

Just try and stay positive (says mental, loony woman here), and remember that after what you've been through, you are both amazing, strong women. Think we should all be wearing Superwoman outfits Grin.

Can't believe how many people I am rooting for here....

Right, gonna go and spend some of DH money as punishment for being an arse. Must try not to cry in public today - feels like it's gonna be one of those days!!

owlbooty · 08/02/2011 09:37

Yup, it basically goes "whoop! they're sore!" then the next day "shit! they're not!" and continues for about, ooh, 3 weeks like that Grin

IT MEANS NOTHING. I promise you.

I have only told 3 people at work and none of them are actually my boss. That can wait. If I hear a heartbeat at my MW appt next Thurs then I think I will tell them. If I don't I shall be too busy screeching in a blind panic and rushing to the nearest private scan/doppler selling merchant. Even though I know that 16 weeks is too damn early to find a heartbeat on a doppler for many people.

Dachs and Pink come over here and I will tap your meridians. With this large monkfish.

Knitter there's an updiffed lady at my work who is still cycling in and she must be approaching 30 weeks by now. I am v.jealous of her ability to balance as I am crap at riding bikes and usually fall off. Needless to say, I will not be riding to work!!

DachshundsWantPuppies · 08/02/2011 09:24

pink nor do mine! I have no symptoms and am dreading Saturday as I now feel like all I'm going to see is an empty sac again :(

I'm finding it really really hard to stay positive (especially after my train arrived this morning with half the usual number of carriages so it was standing room only and v sardine like)

My boobs don't hurt any anymore Confused owl does your diary say anything about this???

womby that makes lots of sense, I'm completely with you on wanting to keep powder dry at work for as long as possible......

((( love ))) I would have lost my rag too. I would love it if DH/DPs had to experience pregnancy one day a week, would be hilarious!!!!

lovemysleep · 08/02/2011 09:12

hello knitter

Glad to see it's not just me whose DH is driving them FRIGGING nuts....He has a bit of a cold (groan), and so has been doubly useless. I got really cross with him, as he doesn't ask me how I am, or offer to help with anything - he's also one of those that leaves a trail of stuff behind him. By no means am I some anally-retentive tidy freak, but I try to live in some semblance of tidyness.
Got to DD bedtime yesterday - I'd been feeling sick all day, and had hit that wall of horrible tiredness, and when I ask him to put her to bed, he's like "I'll just finish my lemsip first" (with a pathetic face). She needed to go to bed and he takes forever to drink hot drinks - so had a tantrum, and did bedtime myself. Just told him he's gonna have to buck his ideas up - I'm hormonal, steroids make you grumpy and I'm a bit mental through worrying.
He better get himself sorted - am currently eyeing up DD hobby horse and wondering how far I can shove it up his arse, if he annoys me anymore....

banana87 go for it! if it instinctively feels right for you to try Dr S, then do...you may come back fine, but at least you'll know and feel more reassured.

Whoever asked about tapping, just remember that before you start the tapping, sit there and picture the emotion that you are feeling. Rate it 1-10. Then when you do start tapping, try to keep hold of the emotion. After you've done 1 round of tapping, you'll find it will have dropped - do as many rounds to get it down to a 1 or 2. My therapist says that this is the important part of it. Good luck - it is a brilliant tool - you'll feel super-relaxed after using it.

Right, sending sanity and relaxation vibes to all you loons xxx

Wombat33 · 08/02/2011 07:27

pink i'm sort of working shorter hours by leaving earlier in the evenings (between 6 and 7pm instead of 9pm plus) and then catching up by working a day from home at the weekends. Not ideal but it.s my own way of trying to do right by me and the bean while not telling work I'm pg (in case I mc again - I don't want to harm my position at work until I know I'm actually going to get a baby out of it if that doesn't sound insane!)

PinkFondantFancy · 08/02/2011 07:05

Hello all DH has agreed to help me do the house stuff. knitter I like the list idea, think we'll give that a try. Being high on hormones doesn't help me stay rational and calm when talking about this stuff!! Hahaha the thought of me ever being described as rational and calm would make anyone who knows me laugh hysterically Confused.

I am so so so tired-is anyone working shorter hours or anything? I've been using holiday to have a day off a week which helps but it's only Tuesday and I feel like I need to sleep for a couple of days. I am putting this in the good thing evidence bag....

knitter I say carry on with the cycling, like the others say, cling onto any normality you can keep!!!!

lady it's called EFT and involves meridian tapping. If you google EFT there are a few sites and videos that show you what to do. You just need to come up with some positive affirmations, usually starting with "I choose to....." it looks barking mad but my MIL swears by it.

orange good luck surviving the journey, it sounds v grim!!!!

banana go for it. When I was talking to my gp about having testing done, he said the Nhs wouldn't wait for 3 mc in an ideal world but there's just not the money to test before then. I'm at the ARGC in London, they test for NK cells too.

Have a good day all xx

banana87 · 07/02/2011 22:27

My God you ladies like to chat :)

Will try and keep up:

WooHoo Knitter!! I remember you from before (can't remember the thread but pretty sure we have mc'd together at some point :( )

Hairy I agree with the others that your symptoms are very encouraging!

HK Pleased your scan went well too!! :)

Fingers crossed for mamapower and Hairy on Friday!

Nothing to report here. Randomly did a test tonight even though a) I'm not pregnant and b) I am 10 DPO at MOST.

DH has said no to me seeing Dr. Shehata for NK cell testing because I have "only" have 2 mc's......

Waves to all I missed! Have been LOL at all the peeing on multiple sticks! The most I did was 11DPO-15DPO and kept all of them (including the ones I rescued from the inside of the CB digital Biscuit...from when I was pg with DD.

OrangeGloss · 07/02/2011 22:11

Forgot to say hi to Pink :)

nickstermum · 07/02/2011 22:11

Ive taken up knitting :)

Pink i go to bed alone every night.... DH listens to his audio books and hardly ever speaks to me... Grin enjoy your peace and quiet... chill the feck out and stop poisoning your bean Grin

OrangeGloss · 07/02/2011 22:11

Awesome news HKBaby !! Grin
Nix I'm sure flutterings come and go at such an early stage. Poor moggy, as long as he doesn't eat another bat
Hairy nausea+faint = pg symptoms! :) my counsellor had me looking for evidence before could worry about something
Choccie how awful, I hope you're resting now. I'm sure it's fine though, all that protection that your bean has for this early stage. Could you get a scan to reassure you?
Beaver awesome name :)
Silly poor thing, I agree with bloods and/or scan, only way to tell I do hope it's good news
Wombat so glad to heat Wombat Bean is ok Grin and glad they reassured you about bleeding
Knitter !!!! Grin Grin so Grin for you! I agree with the continuation of cycling

Hairy and Mamap my scan's on Friday too. Can we hold each others hand? Mine's at 10.20. Wish I was first thing, I hate that you have to go back and sit with everyone still waiting whether it's good or bad news :(

I made it through the journey, but had lots of gipping and constant eating to keep it at bay, so that and the belching I must have looked a right freak :)

KnitterNotTwitter · 07/02/2011 21:56

Tapping thing? What is that?

LadyBee thanks for the wise words will carry on cycling for the time being...

Ladybee · 07/02/2011 21:51

Also, can someone talk me through the tapping thing please? I need all the help I can get at the moment.

Ladybee · 07/02/2011 21:48

Knitter I think as it's exercise you already do daily it shouldn't be a problem for this pregnancy. Listen to your body of course but I think if you can have one concrete thing that forces you to maintain some element of trust in your body then it might help with the mental battles that are coming?

Ladybee · 07/02/2011 21:44

Argh! Stupid phone! I wrote and posted that hours ago! Now it looks like I've ignored all the posts since 8! What is going on???

Too tired to think about it just want to say hooray for knitter and lovely to see Izz yrmotb & mousebacon earlier..

KnitterNotTwitter · 07/02/2011 21:43

OK ladies... question for you.... I cycle to work (30 mins each way)... with DS I cycled up to 12 weeks when my body told me that it was time to stop. With the MC it was actually one of my alarm bells that something wasn't right as I'd got past 12 weeks (12+4) and hadn't had the message from my body to stop yet...

Wondering whether to give up the cycling now just to be super-paranoid or to carry on based on the theory that DS was fine and also that I need the money that I save by cycling....

Ladybee · 07/02/2011 21:38
KnitterNotTwitter · 07/02/2011 21:35

Pink sounds awful and very familiar... Had a rant at DH yesterday although I suspect that with today's announcement he'll assume it was just the hormones talking and ignore me... Grrr.

I think my plan is going to be to write down a list of everything that I do/needs to be done and ask him which things he wants to do...

KnitterNotTwitter · 07/02/2011 21:19

Thanks ladies - lovely to see you again...

PinkFondantFancy · 07/02/2011 21:19

DH Is being such a prick tonight. I am so tired I want to cry and he won't stop f**king working on his laptop so how the hell am I supposed to go to sleep when I have no idea when he's coming to bed. Everytime I go down he promises me "just 10 more minutes" if he'd just been realistic I would have gone in the spare room an hour ago. So have just had a screaming row, slammed all the doors and gone to bed. So a beautiful surge of stress hormones to poison my poor little bean. Our house looks like it's occupied by squatters cos I'm too tired to do housework but it's not as if he's noticed or is volunteering :( I can't do a full time job where I'm out of the house for 12 hours a day, and be the full time house keeper, and be pregnant.

Sorry for mememe just so pissed off

Mamapower · 07/02/2011 20:55

oooooooh I love it that you girls pop by

Welcome to knitter, fx crossed for a nice dull 9 months ahead Smile

tonythetyger · 07/02/2011 20:49

Welcome knitter! Very glad to see you again.

Wombat33 · 07/02/2011 20:47

Hurrah! Welcome knitter!! Feel free to mental away here!

KnitterNotTwitter · 07/02/2011 20:42

HEy... I see nix has pre-warned you all that I might be popping by.... Yep, got a BFP this afternoon (internet cheepy and CB Digital) guess that makes me officially up-duffed and a bit freaked-out...

I'm 4 weeks today....

The first hurdle is going to be checking it's not ectopic.. that'll be in a couple of weeks time... then will come the scary time as we get from 6 weeks to the 12-week scan.... Definitely going to need you ladies....

youremindmeofthebabe · 07/02/2011 20:40

I'm sure that this defies the point of this thread Grin
