Freak out room for those newly updiffed after MC to hold hands and support each other...

Stopped bleeding, the gynae said brown blood was good(!) and said the only way they could tell if it was fluid was a scan. (!!)

Said also good not cramping, just tender. (then again has been tender all the way through)

Then he did a urine, blood pressure, palpated me and stuck a canula in my arm without taking blood!!! Fucking useless twat Sorry that was harsh. Inspected my pad which was clean and basically made me feeli shouldnt be there.

The nurse was shocking... why have you come here....why not epu...? Cos i dont want to wait 3 fecking days for a scan and midwives say present yourself at a&e

Thansk dig didnt think of inc cervix, will call gp today.

Was worried as had strep a at 7 weeks which i had abs for (strep a can cause pre term labour) but the hops said my swab results showeda little something that didnt require treatment. Will call gp and see if i can strong arm them

nicks feet up in case its an incompetent cervix, get your DH to HARASS the EPU and/or your GP to fit you in for an emergency scan TODAY. Your GP might be able to get you a scan at another hospital. A&E gynaes aren't necessarily pregnancy experts.(((((((HUGS)))))))

silly well that is not overly helpful but at least they have agreed a scan, fx for you, keep us posted

Thanks for those asking about me - sadly I had another m/c yesterday. Will be starting the fertility treatments again as soon as we are allowed and hope we get lucky this time. Hi and thanks to those who answered my message yesterday re not knowing what the hell is going on with me post-miscarriage!

Well the spotting has stopped and today's preg test still showed up a faint line but of course I'm still none the wiser as to whether this is a new viable pregnancy or not. I called the early preg unit and she didn't seem that receptive to getting the hcg levels tested but I'm booked in for a scan on 16th so I'll just wait til then. Wish I could be relaxed about it all but it's on my mind all the time.

dont worry about the list either hon, it's not one that is a regular updater so won't even appear that often, just a reference for knowing who has scans etc coming up so support can be offered.
If it's any help, freaking out, tiredness are 2 pretty good symptoms... stay strong

BUT - this thread is about being supportive and positive and so it is with great pleasure that I can announce that I have found the Hairy brain off-switch as requested

And also that PeeVee - your innards are doing all manner of rearranging right now - plus the placenta is taking over and it's no wonder you are feeling rather odd. This may not help one bit, but I found drinking plenty seemed to help, they were more noticable at night when I was dehydrated.

Hairy I also don't feel ready for any lists. I also have extreme tiredness as my main symptom and am going to bed in about 1/2 hour. Here's hoping for the asymptomatic pregnancies to keep on going strong.

wombat - Barbie posted that she had started spotting, but we haven't heard anything since :(

I'm still freaking out. I absolutely don't feel pregnant, I just feel very, very tired and I'm wondering if that's due to the stress. I also feel weepy - possibly hormones.

Have basically come to the conclusion that I do know when I ovulated, and that the consultant was wrong to really question that (although I agree that I don't know exactly when I conceived). I am regular as clockwork, 28 days, with ovulation on 14th day. So dates are about right.

I know this all sounds very defeatist, but I don't know how I can be expected by anyone, including my very good counsellor, to remain all positive and hopeful at this point.

I'm not adding myself to the list.

I kind of liked this thread without it as it was a great place to freak out whilst newly up-duffed and not wanting the stress of 'coming out' as pregnant and not feeling ready to join any 'graduates' threads.

However, I shall just pretend it's not there

'twas me who had a scan today as well . Baby growing and still has a heartbeat. We thought from the last scan at 6 weeks that I'd be 7+5 today but apparently I am measuring 8+1. Got my first meeting with a midwife tomorrow.
