Yay!! Dachs that's good news!!!! I'm soorery there weren't two HBs to see - could it just be a bit too early? Fab and brilliant that one is looking spot on though!!! Whoop!!

DachshundsWantPuppies · 10/02/2011 13:58

HKB Next scan is on 22nd - I'm not holding out for two heartbeats because the sac was a lot smaller so it looks like a mc for twinnie but at least there's one there :) Two would be fab, but I'd be happy with one.

HongKongBaby · 10/02/2011 13:54

yay dachs! When is your next scan? Hope you will see two heartbeats then.

DachshundsWantPuppies · 10/02/2011 13:49

Thanks for the support guys! :)

OK - I'm back.

Sac too small for dates, embryo with yolk sac but no heart beat. :(

Second sac (yep, there were two!) good size sac, embryo, yolk sac, heart beat! :)

And they gave me a DVD so I can show DH the heart beat when he gets home

digitalgirl · 10/02/2011 12:30

x posts with banana

digitalgirl · 10/02/2011 12:30

sillyc yes, that's what it should be normally, but if the ERPC missed anything then you would have had retained product which would still keep your hcg levels going. Hope I'm not coming across as rude or dismissive of what you're going through now, but if it isn't a complete miscarriage then you need to get it looked at and taken seriously as there might be a risk of infection. I'm absolutely no expert on mc via erpc by the way, so someone may be along with better advice than me. Feel free to ignore me Smile.

banana87 · 10/02/2011 12:24

Silly I tested positive 8 weeks after ERPC. Turns out I had a little piece of tissue remaining which was giving off HCG hormones. In the end I had to have a hysteroscopy, but it was definitely not a new pregnancy. Can you go and see a consultant? Hugs.

SillyCalamari · 10/02/2011 12:22

digitalgirl - thanks for your message. They say it's a new pregnancy because I'm still testing positive - despite what the Clearblue helpline says they reckon hcg levels should go back down to normal in 2 weeks after an 8 week miscarriage, esp after an ERPC - and that was 6 weeks ago roughly.
Take care

owlbooty · 10/02/2011 12:21

Dachs am crossing everything - v glad you have scan today. There seem to be so many of us that have had bleeding/spotting on this thread, hope the scan brings good news x

Wombat33 · 10/02/2011 12:17

Dachs huge (((hugs))). I'm keeping everything crossed for the scan xxx

Silly so sorry to hear your news.

Mamapower · 10/02/2011 12:14

Good luck with the scan Dachs will be thinking of you and bean ((hugs))

digitalgirl · 10/02/2011 12:12

dachs thinking of you...there's every chance it could just be a bleed. Lots of us have had them and gone onto have successful pgs. I did have brown bleeding and cramping with DS, I was on holiday and the bleeding turned red, cramping overnight was painful, but it never got super heavy. Came back from holiday and there was a nice strong heartbeat at 7+3.

sillyC am so sorry about your news, how can they be sure it was another mc and not just the remains of your last one? Take care of yourself.

hairy great positive thinking and a wonderful DH. Hope the scan proves your worries wrong. I have alternate days with boob sensitivity perhaps you do too.

Congratulations to wakari hope this is a sticky one for you.

pink good luck with the heparin injection lesson today.

Woke up feeling a bit non-symptomy today, but have just sneezed and it felt like I'd pulled all my lower ab muscles...so stuff still happening. (also hpt came up instantly with the darkest line yet).

SameOldJollster · 10/02/2011 11:50

Just to add to Dachs well wishing. Like HKBaby said, I bled much more with DS than in my MMCs.

hairylights · 10/02/2011 11:47

Dachs don't apologise, and best of luck with the scan

HongKongBaby · 10/02/2011 11:47

Dachs hugs to you. Hope you can get some reassurance quickly. Remember bleeding is not necessarily the end, I had a lot of bleeding in my successful pregnancy and I know others have too.

Silly Sad you poor thing. Please take good care of yourself.

Nix great news baby is okay and enjoying himself in there.

Hairy your DP sounds lovely, what a great idea of the counsellor's too. I hope tomorrow's scan brings you fantastic news, everything crossed for you.

banana87 · 10/02/2011 11:46

Dachs Good luck sweetie. If it helps at all I had spotting like this at 6 weeks and went for a private scan and saw a hb (and turned out I was only 5+4). Will be thinking of you.

SillyCalamari · 10/02/2011 11:46

Dachs good luck for the scan, will be thinking of you

DachshundsWantPuppies · 10/02/2011 11:42

was just spotting, now lots. Brown with some pink but no red yet, but I've got cramps. Nhs was crap but have managed to arrange private scan for 1

But I'm not 6 weeks until tomorrow so they won't be able to see anything anyway so not sure how reassuring it will be...

Sorry for me me me post. I can't stop shaking :(

Silly :( so sorry you've had to go through this again. Hope you're okay & that you come and join us again soon, we'll keep the beanbag reserved for you x

Dachs lovely, is it lots or just a little bit? Have you managed to get hold of nurse/doctor? x

banana87 · 10/02/2011 11:34

So sorry silly

hairylights · 10/02/2011 11:29

banana I feel your pain. I have gone through this whole blooming calcuation in my head too.

After the last MC, my instinct (after repeatedly being told that they won't test as I'd 'only' had two MC) was to spend some of my savings (I'm saving for either IVF or extra time off after the baby comes) on recurrent miscarriage testing before I got pregnant again.

So hard to weigh up the balance of what to do.

Mamapower · 10/02/2011 11:28

silly so sorry to read that. Good luck and I hope you are back with us before you know it x

Mamapower · 10/02/2011 11:27

Dachs I thought you'd been a bit quiet! Have you contacted your EPAU Nurse??? Is it spotting? Don't forget not all bleeds are bad... get yourself off to A&E if necessary... fx this is nothing. Big Hugs x
