Thanks mummya i think i'll use cb in morning and cheapy in afternoon. then when run out will give up on them. am getting an ache on right hand side off stomach, ov maybe? are pains supposed to come before, during or after ov?.

welcome Ninunina sorry you have to be here, but you'll find lots of really good help, advice and support on here.

chloe don't worry about the dr, it'll come to you what you need to say. just explain how you're feeling. when's your appointment?

Chloe55 · 08/02/2011 15:35

Welcome Ninunina, there is conflicting advice on when you should TTC after MC but IMO I say get back on it when you feel ready to. Don't be too upset though if your cycle is a bit manic this time round. Mine returned after 6 weeks but I know some ladies on here went past that date. It's not unheard of to get pg straight away though, my RL friend just has. This is a good thread to voice your concerns/have a rant Wink

Am really nervouse about seeing the GP now. I just don't know what to say Confused I cried on my friend this afternoon and she is living with her fiance who is clinically depressed, she said everything I have said to her today def sounds like I need some outside help....I know she is right Sad

MummyAbroad · 08/02/2011 15:27

Hi cep I have only ever got positives with morning wee, and I test twice a day. Last month didnt get any positive so I might even test 3 times a day this time around.Shock

FF wont pay that much attention to OPK's if there is better evidence to consider. The order goes:

temps & CM = primary sign (most important)
Cervical position etc = secondary signs
OPK's and other tests = famously unreliable.

I think the OPK is a helpful clue, but it doesnt always work, I'm not too worried that I didnt get a positive because I still got the temp rise and bi-phasal chart.

Ninunina · 08/02/2011 15:25

Hi ladies, this looks like a fun thread, can I join? Smile
I've just suffered my first MC on Sunday Sad and although I'm utterly devistated, I'm trying to remain positive and am really eager to get right back in there and try again.

Any advice on how long I should wait before trying? From what I can see its after 1st cycle but not sure if that's just for dating purposes or if your body needs time to return to normal.

My stats: WTTC#1 post MC1: Feb 11, WTF UCL 28-35 days

cep · 08/02/2011 15:10

An opk and ff question. My opk's are still coming up negative fair enough as i don't think i've ov'd yet, but i'm concerned that as per usual they'll always say negative. I'm just wondering as cbopk says four hours of not drinking or weeing, and cheapy says 2 hrs. Does anyone use the cb in the morning for it to actually show??? All advice says afternoon, just wondered those who use them what do you do to get a positive?

secondly on ff if i keep putting negatives on opk will that effect the cross line thing?? or does temp overrule them?

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 08/02/2011 15:09

Every 36 hours is pretty good going! According to SMEP, we have to do tonight, tomorrow and Friday, then it's chill out time. I think dh will be relieved Grin

youremindmeofthebabe · 08/02/2011 14:43

Lol, izz- I know, I'd be burnt out! WE're trying for every 36 hours! Am knackered already!

cep · 08/02/2011 14:34

afternoon all. Hope you're all ok. Think i'm due to ov soon, have had 2 dips in temp chart over last few days. have managed to dtd 5th and 7th for the first time in an age, fx can on 9th as well.

mummya so sorry guy didn't turn up, but sounds kinda good that they're treating it seriously as fugitive from justice sounds big.

have to go i'm getting calls of i done poopoo from upstairs. (ds not dh) Grin

MummyAbroad · 08/02/2011 12:58

Izz for what its worth, I wouldnt put my money on CD13, I think ov is still to come.

MummyAbroad · 08/02/2011 12:55

Hi Izz I seem to be doing odd numbers too, SWI'd on day 7, not sure if I will I carry on everyother day or switch myself back to even numbers? Confused This SMEG plan is a bit harder than it looks!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 08/02/2011 12:52

Here'smy chart. It's a bizarre one this month. And I can't help wondering whether I ov'd on cd13 going by temps (ish) and subsequent lack of cm. But I will go with the opks for now.

Cd20 must feel like forever - no wonder you didn't want to start SMEP too early! Grin

youremindmeofthebabe · 08/02/2011 12:41

here is mine, it looks bizarre, but kind of usual

No sign of ov or EWCM, so am still every other day. Keep forgetting to pack my ov sticks for work, but as probs not due til day 20, it's hopefully ok.

I'll do the list in a bit.

Waves to all.

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 08/02/2011 12:38

mummya I remember you saying about your dh's accident before, I'm sorry he's no further forward with the prosthesis etc Sad fx the court case doesn't take too long to resolve and he can get the treatment he needs soon xx

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 08/02/2011 12:35

yrmotb yup I am still SMEP-ping. I started on cd7 instead of cd8 but assume this is not enough of a transgression to get me kicked off the experiment

MummyAbroad · 08/02/2011 12:32

Lili8 glad you got your cycle back, I know BFP would be better but at least the waiting is over Smile

YRMTOB I second the listjigging, and here is my chart its a bit boring this month, kinda looks like I am flatlining Hmm (yes, I have checked that themometer is working properly)

Chloe I am putting suspenders on for you. CD33 is a bit bloody exiting?! I am impressed that you can hold out until cheapie sticks arrive, well done!

DH's accident was very bad, he was in hospital for 4 months and had half his foot amputated. He still walks without a prosthesis (4 years on!) because the medical system here is truly crap and slow, so he also has lots of back trouble from walking wonky. The most disapointing thing about yesterday was that he said he didnt care what the outcome was, he just wanted "closure" - but we didnt even get that. Still it was a tiny step forward in the process.

Chloe55 · 08/02/2011 11:26

Morning ladies,

Collie/LILI - good news, kinda, on the AF. At least, like you say, you can make some real plans and know that your body is finally getting back to how it should be.

MummyA - Some people have a bit of an attitude problem according to your other thread. Think they are just jealous that you have a cleaner and they don't Wink I'm jealous too, having done my mums today and nannas yestaerday and now seriously can not be arsed to do my own! Grin Also sorry about the court case. Not sure if you have said before but was your dh seriously injured in the accident?

Knitter - How's it feel now the news has sunk in?

Hi to everyone else.

AF still not really here. Have just had a tiny amount of blood streaked CM but had period pains last night and woke in an absolutely foul mood. I have managed to get a gp appointment this aft though so will pick up my prescription just in case and discuss being referred to a counsellor. I ordered some pg and ov sticks from ebay yesterday so if they arrive tomorrow and I still haven't come on then I will POAS. EVen if they are cheapo ones it should still show up as will be cd33 by then.

AandRMum · 08/02/2011 11:00

I'll pop you in the control group then Knitter. I feel a strange sense of relief just in case that meant one of the SMEG places was taken up -

owlbooty · 08/02/2011 10:34

Yup, I'm happy to do that YRMOTB :)

KnitterNotTwitter · 08/02/2011 10:26

Re the SMEG/P... don't think we can actually count me as a SMEG/P success.... was planning to start it after AF....!

OP posts:
Collie2 · 08/02/2011 09:02

LILI how strange! my AF came too and I feel the same way. I've been wishing it to come for weeks, whilst secretly hoping I might get pg. So this morning when AF came I was Smile but also a bit Sad to be honest I don't even think I ovulated this month.

But it's good for us. Out bodies have recovered now and it's a fresh start. Positive thinking. How long is your cycle ? mines roughly 40.

mummya sorry court was dissapointing. I'll be tuning in tonight though for another episode of 'stenders'! I agree though, we do need a few more bfp's! Xx

chloe hope your AF doesn't come. Hope your feeling better? X

at work and on phone so will catch up properly later x

youremindmeofthebabe · 08/02/2011 08:58

Hello!

Was it collie or cep asking about my 800mg of Vitamin E? basically I got my info from this website and when I looked on the back of my packet of vits it said that 800 mg was approx 400ui? I don't know if that's standard, or whether it's particular to that brand (superdrug's own)

velvet you know that not expecting anything is a very good sign don't you?WinkSmile

mummya I am in awe of your AIBU, and very angry re the cleaner. Also disappointed about the court case. You have a right bloody rollercoaster of emotions! But yey to you ov'ing around Vday. I too can't help but think it's a really good sign

izz Have you managed the SMEG plan much then? Goody for nearly on 2ww, are you just waiting for the crosshairs?

Can I have everyone's charts so I can add you all?

lili yey for AF, but sorry it's not PG. We can do a yey for the first one though, I think we all kind of did at the timeSmile

How's all the Diffed? orange good luck for the scan.

nix are you and owl ready to become graduates? I'm gonna jig the list in a bit, I think. Won't grad anyone without consent, but figured as you and owl were on the Big Diffed list it could be ok?Smile

LILI80 · 08/02/2011 07:53

Hi Ladies

Just a quickie - first congratulations Knitter!!! That's such fab news Grin

Well I am def not pg as AF finally arrived this morning! Feel sort of happy in a way as at least now I know things are getting back to normal and I can plot my cycle but sad as well as was really hoping I could be one of the lucky ones and get pg straight after mc.

Never mind onwards and upwards I suppose.

Hope you're all ok and will catch up on the posts properly later xx

AandRMum · 08/02/2011 06:28

MummyA The room thesis is on the bottom of page 28.

OrangeGloss · 07/02/2011 23:03

Evening all :) sorry for being absent have just been tired and trying to keep my mind occupied until Friday's scan [wibble emoticon]

Mummya how awful, did you get them back? We don't take ours off Blush shit, just read your 2nd post Angry just read your other post in full detail Angry Angry sorry the court case didn't go any better
'accidentally' kicks Mr Velvets shed on the way past
Chloe I hope you get a birthday BFP, fx am thinking of you, and glad you're staying :)
Mouse glad your meeting went ok, so brave of you
Loola well done on exam, I hope the other 2 results are the same

Knitter!!! Grin congrats over here too!! Grin Grin

MummyAbroad · 07/02/2011 22:35

LovelyAandRAnalogylady yeah, that was the first time I've plucked up the courage to post "out there" in the scary section! I love the storm/rainbow analogy Smile BTW I think I have missed some posts, because I didnt see the thing about the rooms

Is knitter our first SMEG success then? Perhaps that 40% is not so far fetched after all... some extraGrin Grin Grin for getting diffed before the due date! (technically)

loola well done! Re: chart - so why the circles? is the time difference always big? I just leave off inputting the time these days or input it in the notes sections so I can refer back and not confuse FF. you did say day 10 seemed early... I wouldnt be surprised if FF changed its mind about those red lines soon.

collie if my life was a soap opera I am sure that would mean there would be more pregnancies in the plot Grin
