A safe place for everyone on the TTC after MC rollercoaster. Welcome and come in - virtual wine and chocolate for all, and lots of support and hand-holding until you get your BFP!

The thread moves fast but don't let that put you off - feel free to come along and stay to chat; or dip in and out with any questions.

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC

Good luck to all - here's hoping for lots of healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread

Eggy i can't comment on bleeding after an erpc as i mc naturally but i'd completely agree with chloe . It can hit you emotionally after you have physically recovered, and take you off guard. Also I know that even though i had stopped bleeding heavily i was still really weak and drained for a good week after and was easily exhausted. Take the time you need to recover, work will be there next week.

Sorry for you loss eggy xx

eggybrokenoff · 02/02/2011 09:18

i thought i was fine - kept saying to myself it's a blighted ovum, there was never a baby, just get on and back to it, but today since i spoke to doc i just can't stop crying - i mean really i cannot control my crying at all. and i never cry uncontrollably - i thought it was cos i was scared about needing to go back in to hospital, but now i feel less scared but still blubbing

nickstermum · 02/02/2011 09:16

YRM before you buy yellow grapefruit juice have a look for pink! Its much much nicer xx

Collie2 · 02/02/2011 09:14

YRMOTB maybe it is because its not the very first thing i do...but it is almost. I really need to do better to remember as the temps chart is useless. I reposted and hope it worked, but look here thanks xx

Chloe55 · 02/02/2011 09:12

Eggie - yes it is normal as your body can take a little while to get back to normal. I would only be concerned if it was really smelly (worse than a period type smell) or if you were in any pain.

Feel free to go to work if you feel it will take your mind of things but also make sure you give yourself plenty of time to grieve and rest. A few of us on here have made the fatal mistake of trying to throw ourselves back into real life before we were actually emotionally ready and are suffering the consequences now.

youremindmeofthebabe · 02/02/2011 09:09

errrr. Perhaps. If you feel well in yourself, I think that's the best indicator, or if you had excessive bleeding, ie changing a pad in less than an hour, then that's more worrying. I am sorry for your loss.

eggybrokenoff · 02/02/2011 09:05

so the idiot at the hospital freaked me out for no reason and i could be on my merry way to my conference instead of crying over a keyboard?

youremindmeofthebabe · 02/02/2011 09:03

xposts

eggy I had bleeding for 3 weeks after my erpc. It would come and go, sometimes heavier and sometimes brown. When the bleeding stopped I did get some brown cm here and there too before AF proper.

If you have any pain, chills, fever, unpleasant smells, go to hospital as it could be an infection.

youremindmeofthebabe · 02/02/2011 09:00

owl I meant too! Hope you're all well.

youremindmeofthebabe · 02/02/2011 09:00

Morning all! Day ! of SMEP starts here today, dtd this am, which can only be classed as SFF, really, as it may be 11 days til I ovShock

I am keeping an eye on your experiment, mummya, and am going to purchase some grapefruit juice this week. I am a little bit but it can't be any worse than the Agnus Castus I take as well.

AandR Nice to see you, how was the trip? Is it all crazy over there with the flooding and stuff, or did you not see to much of it?

pink I am sure that the commuter Gods are not smiling on you, your journey sounds horrendous. Re the colleagues comments about train vibrations on the other fred, I think he's talking poppycock.

collie try and post them again, I just got my own chart then. Technically you should do it before getting up and as soon as you wake. The getting up does seem to affect things, especially as it's cool out of bed. You'll get into the habit though, I do mine half-asleep now!

velvet that's really sad. I actually feel sorry for both parties, child and mum. They're not old enough to be parents, they should still be having fun.

orange glad you feel all refreshed, 9 hour kip sounds just the job!

2 work days till London. Whoop for me. I may forget my thermometer, as the amount of alcohol imbibed will probably be too muchBlush

izz I can see you in the white coatGrin

Waves madly at the updiffed, nix and mamap

Waves to all ttc-ers, kat, mouse cep lily hadrian brownb and everyone else I've missed.

eggybrokenoff · 02/02/2011 09:00

sorry to post this here but i really need some advice and thought you ladies might be able to help me.

just posted this in another thread:

had an ERPC 8 days ago. After 3 days or so bleeding almost stopped - it was light pinky/pale brown. Last couple of days very dark brown bleeding has started again - chocolate colour, not very much, about a panty liner every 4-6 hours.

Rang gynae ward who said to see GP, rang GP who were crap and won't give me appt til much later. Supposed to have gone away for work an hour ago!

is this normal? Should bleeding have stopped by now? will i need to go back in?

can anyone advise me or help me?

nickstermum · 02/02/2011 08:58

Morning all good luck with the experimenting... i would say from personal GF experience, dont drink too much! You may turn into a snail Grin

Collie2 · 02/02/2011 08:49

Hopefully this link to my temps will work. Smile

Collie2 · 02/02/2011 08:47

Chole sorry you feel rotten, I have every finger and toe crossed for you!!!
Will repost the link

DachshundsWantPuppies · 02/02/2011 08:42

velvet you must be feeling Angry - it sucks Keepings my FX for that temp rise and a velvetbean

izzy lots of seats being saved in the shiny new thread - hope to see the rest of the old timers over there soon as well. Mr Poisson confirms that we're expecting to see you soon.

aandr yep, one of them decided to stick. for now, at least! Freaking out until my first scan though - I've got one organised for 6+1 (privately) and one at 7+4 (part of the IVF package through the clinic). Currently 4+5. Had lots of spotting, seems to have stopped. Keeping FX for twins, but not overly hopeful.

sorry, boss arriving so can't do catch ups with everyone at the moment

Chloe55 · 02/02/2011 08:36

My spelling was horrendous in that last post! Blush

Chloe55 · 02/02/2011 08:35

Collie - when I try and open your link it says i need to put in a user name and password?

Pink - you have to watch it!! Try 4od!

A&R - Welcome back! Hope you had a lovely time. Jetlag is a bugger though.

Hadrian - The first WTF & AF chycle is horrible. It does get better though. Like has been said before, mine also is continuing to be very 'clotty' though (however, not so much on the Clomid).

Still no sign of AF. Have woken in a foul moud but that may also be because dh is in a bad mood and despite him saying he isn't trying to start an argument he is replying to everything I say with a difference of opinion Hmm He does suffer from PMT once a month though Wink Have just had a bacon sarnie and feel like I could quite easily throw it up. Please, please don't let this be another side effect from the Clomid and let it be the real thing........please...

PinkIsACheeseAddict · 02/02/2011 08:06

Helllllooooo everyone! First week back at work after s week off-totally dire :(

mummya good work on the experimentation and also the 4am action!!! If you're making grapefruit juice get some of it down DH's neck too-supposed to be good for his swimmer juice I think.

velvet Raaaaahhhhhh omg I'd be so so so Angry so unfair for you and probably not great for their future prospects either.

Hadrian my AF at the end of WTF was pretty grim-very crampy and clotted blood. It was only that one though, they settled down a bit after that, although they stayed a bit clotted.

aandr welcome home! Hope you had a lovely time.

izz thanks for cakes-om nom nom your kiddies make yummy cake!

I'd not heard of my big fat gypsy wedding-I'll look out for it though, sounds right up my street! What channel is it on-4?

Having a bit of a nightmare commute-they cancelled the two busiest trains this morning so am on one but it is very slow and is rammed and the nausea is welling
up.....

There's a huge deposit of milka chocolate in the corner for you all :) plus anyone fancy a pizza?? Hawaiian on the table for anyone who fancies :)

Collie2 · 02/02/2011 07:58

Morning everybody !! I hope everyone is feeling a bit brighter today? I'm a bit on the brighter side but very confused by my temps???!!! I've been taken them for 5 days now, at roughly the same time apart from Sunday which was later. They all seem high to me but are also all over the place, I know I'm on my WTF but is this really normal??? Confused do you think I'm doing it wrong? A couple of times I woke upand after 5 mins of lying in bed got up to pee and then remembered and come running back... Would that make a difference??? [confuse] Confused. Could you have a look? xx

cep · 02/02/2011 07:46

morning all

hadrian sorry you're feeling awful, i think the af can be all sorts for a while. if you're worried have a dr call you back to discuss.

AandRMum · 02/02/2011 07:23

Ahhh yes Emoo and hairy - am so chuffed esp. given mremoo's initial reluctance!!!

DDs are up so will catch up soon

AandRMum · 02/02/2011 07:17

... late as always but up for some experimenting! We are making the most of jetlag as what else do you do when wide awake at 4am - I am expecting great things this month!

Have no chance of catching up but am sure I read that Dachs egg took up residence in her 5* womb ... I am sooooo chuffed about that. I am sure someone else managed a BFP whilst I was away but I can't flick back to see ...

OrangeGloss · 02/02/2011 07:07

Velvet I'm so Angry there really is no justice is there?!

Mummya I'm loving the experiments, glad you found your grapefruit juice. Mmmmm..... grapefruit juice
