Jump on if you are a TTCer hoping that this cycle is 'the one' and will result in a sprog or sprogette due in November.

Welcoming season ticket holders and new passengers.

Hi ladies, hmm, BFNs all over the place by the look of things! Still quite early for those of us left on the bus, though, right?

If I haven't said it already then huge congrats to busyboysmum Grin .

I am on cycle day... um... 18 today and due to DH's travels was only able to have SWI from day 14 onwards. However, I'm having some quite odd stomach pains today which some part of my brain (not the rational part obviously!) is convinced must be implantation pains. Seriously [shakes head] I need to get my head checked!

Luckily this should be quite a busy week so it should go quickly!

Poppyjen · 08/03/2011 15:47

Hi ladies, internet cheapies arrived and despite best efforts I just couldn't wait...and guess what...BFN but as only 10dpo I guess I expected that. Also not FMU but I could just be making excuses up!

Still disappointed though as got a BFP with DS at 10 dpo with a FR so was hoping for the same this time - still only a month since I stopped taking the pill so I know I am expecting a lot for it to happen so quickly again second time around - we were very lucky last time that DS turned up so quickly.

Ho hum. At least I now have a bag full of tiny strips of paper to play with over the next few days before I bring out the posh ones at the weekend Smile

Oceynorm · 08/03/2011 13:39

hiya ladies,

i got a BPN this morning, so annoyed i'm on CD44 and not had many AF symtoms.

but i have had a "pulling" sensation in my lower abdomen for the last few nights that keeps moving from one side to anyother.... really dont know what do think of it all.

I dont have regular cycles.... last cycle was 43 days cycle before that was 49 days and the cycle before that was 35 days Confused

busyboysmum · 08/03/2011 11:18

Thanks Poppyjen - will hop on over there.

Bornofdust - I got a BFN last night and the night before with my internet cheapies, then had one clearblue in my drawer that I was saving so used that this morning - a nice pink cross, hooray!

Good luck everyone else on this bus Smile

HopeCalvary · 08/03/2011 09:04

Due af tomorrow. TTC# 2 got bfn sunday and yesterday. Spotting sunday.

bornofdust · 08/03/2011 09:02

Welcome TheCake and well done busyboysmum! Hopefully the tide is changing on this bus!

Well, as predicted the Internet cheapie gave me a BFN this morning. In fact while the control line went red, the test strip went even whiter - almost to spite me!

I'm not as bothered as I thought I might be. Yesterday I was a bit wound up, but feel more relaxed today. Maybe those cheapies do have a placebo effect?!

It's day 21 of what has been (for my cycles this year) a 22-day cycle. But maybe this month, my body is reverting back to a longer cycle and it's too early to test? Having said that, I've had absolutely no symptoms that might indicate a PG. Aside from the odd, out-of-the-blue emotional rant at DH. Oh no, wait...that's just normal behaviour at any time of the month. Wink

I do hope there's more positive news elsewhere?

Poppyjen · 08/03/2011 08:42

Hi busyboysmum you want the November 2011 Antenatal club

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/antenatal_clubs/1156441-November-2011-Mums-to-be

Congratulations Smile

busyboysmum · 08/03/2011 08:37

Hiya - not sure how these buses work? I got a BFP this morning, so my due date will be 11th Nov - where do I go now to find people who are in a similar situation please? I am newish to mumsnet and find it really big and confusing, don't have a lot of time to come on the internet but would love to be able to chat to mums who are going through the same things as me through my pregnancy journey. Thanks so much Smile

TheCake · 07/03/2011 20:59

Hello all, I've been lurking and it is my peak day tomorrow so thought id add myself to keep up the numbers on this bus (even though I said I would give the next bus a miss after over analysing everything
on the last one)! At least this time round I think I've managed to SWI at the right time (a first for us)!

So... ttc #1 cycle 3 ucl 33, AF due 2 weeks tomorrow! Roll on the 2ww.

I'm hoping queenrollo is having a good honeymoon and I'm glad to see she joined this bus too!

Poppyjen · 07/03/2011 19:16

born - totally agree, tell DH that only the expensive ones count Wink...unless of course you get a BFP in which case Grin Grin Grin

I have a pregnant friend coming over tomorrow so I am hoping (beyond logic) that it is catching Wink!!

bornofdust · 07/03/2011 18:55

Yeay, so glad that there are still a few of us rattling around here!

Poppyjen I got home this evening and my Internet cheapies had arrived. But I told DH I wouldn't test until Friday am when he'll be here. But given that everyone who's had a bfp on this bus, has had bfns on Internet cheapies, it doesn't count, does it? Surely it's just a placebo, no? Wink

Mumtum good luck for tomorrow!

Poppyjen · 07/03/2011 17:52

Me me me! I'm still here - I think AF due at the weekend so will be in the testing zone soon. I did a FR this morning but BFN still very early (9dpo I think) so not getting too down about it. Have ordered internet cheapies that will arrive tomorrow so I can POAS to my heart's content....

Everything crossed for everyone left on the bus! Smile Here's to a very positive week Grin

ghosteditor · 07/03/2011 13:35

hey bof, crazy dreams! I have vivid and quite wacky dreams all the time, it can leave you feeling v unsettled. So if this is the bus, who's the bus driver?

I'm still on the Nov bus but think I'll be on my own if I stay! AF is due 18 March which according to MN calculator would give me an estimate due date of Nov 26th, so it's still definitely the Nov bus for me. Not sure if it's worth bothering though as DH was overseas until my last day of estimated fertility, but as usual it's not over until AF appears. Plus I figured if anyone else was around, they would need the company. I bet there are lots of Dec busers who are really Nov busers though!

BTW sorry to hear that seven and good luck next time!

bornofdust · 07/03/2011 10:15

PS.. I had a dream last week that I was back at school and fell asleep on the school bus home. When I woke up, everyone else had gotten off and the bus driver had disappeared and I was stuck on a manky old coach in a layby. Eeek!

bornofdust · 07/03/2011 10:11

Who else is left on the bus now? I possibly have two days to wait and no sign of AF yet. I am a bit of a bundle of nerves and haven't felt this anxious before. I think it's possibly because I'm on my own again this week and don't have anyone to chat to.

Also I was a bit naughty on the weekend and had a few beers at a friend's birthday. I think I'm still feeling angry at myself for doing it, but I may not be PG so it wasn't terribly irresponsible was it?

Oh dear. Got the mean reds on a Monday morning. Sad

sevendwarves · 06/03/2011 22:33

AF has arrived, the cow obviously wanted to confuse me! Time to jump off this unlucky bus and go in search of a luckier one, I really want to have a baby this year!!!

Hope the luck improves for everyone left on board, and hope not to see too many of you on the December bus (in a nice way)

MumTumWanted · 06/03/2011 19:55

hey ladies, long time ( it seems ) no posting from me... just not had tome ( or rather time when OH isnt about ....Grin

Sorry for those of you who got got by AF i agree with bornofdust she is a cowbag indeed...

Still hanging on in there myself on the nov bus... due tomorrow poss tuesday butPOAS this morning and though i convinced myself holding the stick one way only in a certain light at a certain angle there was a feint line. I put it down and on returning to it spoke rationally to myself thought realistically there was no line... so blamed OH earlier for my cramping belly and sore boobs as he does not as he first thought have super sperm or i would not be in somuch pain right now Blush i did later apologise but i felt really cheesed off....

need lots Wine biscuits and chocolate... so ampling handing lots round for us all to share....

sorry for the me me me post needed to rant ... Good luck to those all still hanging in there and for those already hopping on the Decenber bus, save me a space as i may need to be joining you soon .....

lalabaloo · 06/03/2011 18:37

Wow we are both having the exact same thing! Please please please let us both get our BFPs!

sevendwarves · 06/03/2011 18:29

lala my AF is usually exactly as you describe yours, starting heavy first thing in the morning with no spotting beforehand. AF was due today (possibly tomorrow) but I've just had some spotting when I wiped (sorry TMI). I guess we'll both wait and see what happens tomorrow morning!

How is everyone else getting on? We must be well overdue some more BFP's by now!

lalabaloo · 06/03/2011 17:26

Thanks sevendwarves I thought AF had arrived this morning. POAS and it was BFN then noticed some blood after wiping. Thought it was AF but then same as yesterday, only v light bleeding. This is very unusual for me but the BFNs are making me think not pregnant just odd AF, maybe it's because of me stressing about it! Will have to wait and see, only have one test left and it's digital so will have to ask DH to lock it away so I don't waste it! I will wait as long as possible to test again and if it is a BFN but I don't get any proper bleeding this month might call doctors and see what they say. Good luck to you! Let me know how you get on [crosses fingers]

sevendwarves · 06/03/2011 10:31

lala I'd POAS.

AF always starts early morning for me and it hasn't done yet. I didnt use OPK's this month though so my dates could easily be wrong. I'll try waiting as long as possible until at least tomorrow before I POAS again.

lalabaloo · 05/03/2011 22:39

I'm on day 36, last month my cycle was 35 days but it was my first proper cycle since having implant removed

Loup23 · 05/03/2011 22:30

How many days are you lala?

Sorry to hear about AF arriving horrible witch. Hoping you get a place on the december bus.

lalabaloo · 05/03/2011 22:01

Awww hugs all round I think. Sorry for those who have been caught by AF :( Can I join for some moaning/advice? Sorry if TMI

Really confused tonight, this morning started to dtd then had small amount of blood, really small amount and quite dark, wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't paranoid about AF. No more bleeding until about 5pm where there were four tiny spots on the pad. Since then maybe one or two more spots but nothing else. This is v unusual for me, usually AF starts first thing in the morning, no spotting beforehand and gets heavy quite very quickly!

Had some cramping on Thursday evening and I was due AF yesterday. Had very sore boobs for last week which eased off slightly last night and not too bad today.

So I guess what i'm asking is AF or implantation bleed? Seems too late for implantation bleed (i've heard anywhere between 6 and 12 days dpo?) unless I ovulated a bit later than I thought (only going by days and only cycle 2 of TTC so not impossible) but I really don't know. Also going to post in conception because I want as many opinions as possible, and feel free to tell me I am a delusional nutcase as long as you offer me chocolate at the same time!

BlueCrane · 05/03/2011 10:03

ghost I'm so sorry DH not back yet - that's so tough...I know how hard I found it just for a week, so can't imagine how tough it is for you!

bornof I also had irrational rant at DH last night after AF had come. He was saying that we need to relax more this month as he thinks I'm getting too stressed and that's what's wrong...keeps citing his two brothers who apparently 'just got on with it' and have now 4 DCs between them...I kept pointing out that one BIL/SIL go at it like rabbits anyway so their chances were always pretty high and the others work from home so can do it whenever they need I guess?! DH works shifts and my work also v busy so we can easily go a week without it unless we plan...grrr...sorry, long post, will calm down and eat breakfast and go and refill hot water bottle! Why does AF have to be so damn painful Angry bad enough that she's here at all!
