Hi wannabump/Shelley. I tend to lurk and see how everyone's doing here but just wanted to say how glad I am you're doing OK. I remember what happened and felt so sorry about what life had done to you again. Good luck with starting back at work, just take it a day at a time. And good luck with ttc when you feel ready.

wannabump2006 · 14/10/2005 18:47

Anyone around?really fancied a chat.....haven't been on here for a while, plus have changed my nickname for a fresh start but you can all still call me shelley if you like.x
Am not yet ttc, have been put off abit by having my m/c so soon after the stillbirth, but am looking to get back on my feet and on the good ol'ttc path by xmas.xAm so frightened it will happen again....docs just say its unbelievable bad luck!!!...great!!..that really helps!
Am going back to work at the end of the month, back working as a nursery nurse in the baby department(mad huh!!??),am hoping it will be theraputic in a way..theres a baby there that is the same age as rhys would have been, and when i went into work on weds to let them know i was coming back and to say hi to everyone(v.emotional)i saw this little one, picked her up and couldn't let her go!!!I fed her, changed her and walked around with her for ages!!!I thought i would be really upset, but instead i found it a really comforting experience. My boss told me i'm extremely brave and an inspiration...it was really nice to get reasurrance from her too.x
Then for the past couple of days i've been really weepy!just soo want my baby, who'd be 5 months now!(soz for going on!)
Anyway...have been checking this thread from day to day and reading about you all, especially you diddle...many many congratulations hunny,i am so pleased for you,you so deserve it!!
I'm hoping to be in your position in a couple of months too!
Good luck to all the testers and those doing lots of BDing.x.x.x.x.x

there are so many hospitals in london - i have at least 4 within 5 miles.
but they are all rubbish so its kinda the best out of a bad bunch lol

school run in a mo- time has gone quickly today, i have been snuggled up on sofa with my laptop, very productive - ah well

Diddle · 14/10/2005 14:58

Diddle · 14/10/2005 14:57

slinkstah · 14/10/2005 14:55

i wish i felt sick too. but i guess im only 4 weeks. i am researching which hospital to book in with.

Diddle · 14/10/2005 14:46

yeh went to the doc yesterday and they're getting me a midwife appointment and an early scan for the next couple of weeks time, i'm 6 wks now, so it will be around 8 wks i think.
Yes i'm feeling very sick, like a bad hangover, head is throbbing, body aching, feeling sooo sick, but its all good, well worth it.

slinkstah · 14/10/2005 14:40

Diddle · 14/10/2005 14:20

slink - you still there? i'm due the 9th June, for now i;m sure that will change after my scan because i have long cycles and i don't ov around the typical time. i'm taking pregnacare vitamins every day, have been for over 12 months and tey say you can take them all through pregnancy and breastfeeding. I bet you're walking round in a daze.

slinkstah · 14/10/2005 11:50

morning
thats an interesting website cori
diddle when are you due? i still don't beleive i am pg. I had a nettle tea this morning instead of a coffee. and dp is saying omega 3 lessens the risk of preterm labour so he wants me to go on 3 pills daily

Diddle · 14/10/2005 09:51

thanks cori - saw that yesterday it makes you wonder doesn't it. i agree with you, you can't help feeling sad for your losses, neither can I, its only natural.

OP posts:
cori · 14/10/2005 09:48

slinkstah and everyone else have a look at this.
spiritbabies makes me feel better anyway.
Even though I am happily (and hopefully) successfully 11 weeks pregnant. I cant help continuing to be sad for the baby that should have been born two weeks ago.

Diddle · 14/10/2005 09:25

are you all still asleep?

Just a little reminder to you all that it is International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day on October 15th (tomorrow) please take a moment to remember you little ones, not that we ever stop thinking about them. but take a few minutes quiet time for you to remember our beautiful children who never made it to our arms

Diddle · 13/10/2005 16:51

could you just take paracetamol for your headache HC, you can have those during pregnancy.
glad your dd had a better day.

OP posts:
mumswish · 13/10/2005 16:46

HC - Glad to hear nursery went a bit better. I'm sure she will get better each time.

Glad everything was ok with baby. Must be horrible having a baby that screams all the time and its something you cant fix.

I hope you get your BFP on Monday.

HumphreysCorner · 13/10/2005 16:30

sorry about AF strike1 hugs to you hun-evil witch! ((xx))

Why is she called Auntie Flo as there is no way I want her related to me. Should really be Annoying Flo or something equally irritating.

Well, picked DD up from nursery and she has been alot better only because I secretly put her elephant in her rucksack but she must have seen and dragged one of the girls to her coat peg to get him out. Poor elephant is covered in food-I don't let her have him at the table but at least it helped matters.

Then went to see my friend's 3 week old DD-I was fine but felt like crying for my friend as her baby has terrible trapped wind down below and cries for 24 hours a day. I don't know how she is coping with a 3 year old DD as well. Don't think I could be as strong as her.

Trix1-I am testing on Monday but it will be 5 days before AF is due so not holding out much hope as too stressed at the moment. If you can wait until then I will test with you. Good luck hon. ((xx))

Have a headache now so do I take painkillers as strictly speaking I don't know if I am PG or not. Don't suppose it will do any harm. Took one of my prescription migraine tablets before I knew I was PG with DD and she came out OK.

Talking of DD, I have left her asleep in the car so had better get her out.

Bye for now

xx

No I've had cold for about a week now and now this, plus no af (although thats not that big a deal as I didnt expect it to turn up straight away, just quicker than this)

O I HATE DOCTORS! They're so mean normally!
