Hi everyone,
Congrats to Iamblossom. Hope everyone is feeling a litle better. I'm so sorry if I offended anyone with my August baby comment. It's made me think of maybe trying this month. I just don't know. Ok, I'm deciding whilst I type . I won't use the OV test sticks and we'll take it as it comes. If it happens, it happens.

jane313,

Yes, you're right, Fertilitea contains Agnus Castus, which souldn't be taken with clomid or other fertility drugs. But I work on the theory that I can stop taking it after I've seen the gynacologist if necessary, and it might help in the meantime

Hugs,
Artoo.

jane313 · 26/11/2005 04:35

thanks

artoo thats really nice qucik appointment. My dr told me I would wait a month for a letter fromt eh fertility unit and then it would be 2-3 months at least for an appointment. And i know that the letter only left the drs last week (10 days after my appointment). I might try taking a few of your supplements. I did read that you couldn't take fertilitea on top of fertiltiy drugs.

Congratulations Iamblozzom! That's great news, I'm so pleased for you. Sending you lots of glue to help that little beanie to stick.

Jane313, sorry to hear you're not ovulating I hope your consultant referral comes through fast for you. DH and I were referred to a gynaecologist at the start of November, and our first appointment is December 15th, so not too long to wait. I hope you'll continue to hang out here.

As far as I go, DH and I are back from Florida, still slightly jetlagged. CD11 here, so the BD-ing is commencing I'm taking a real cocktail of herbs and vitamins this month in an attempt to extend my luteal phase - evening primrose oil, vitamin B6 and vitamin B Complex. I'm also drinking 2 or 3 cups a day of Fertilitea (I was pleasantly surprised how cheap the shipping cost was). And on Wednesday I'm going to try accupuncture for the first time (well, my sister-in-law swears it worked for her).

Hugs,
Artoo.

Congratulations on BFP Iamblossom

Sorry to hear that everyone seems to be quite low at the moment. Hopefully things will pick up for us on here soon.

Haven't been posting much as nothing really to add i'm in the 2ww at the moment. I really hate the waiting trying to kid yourself that this could be the month.

Anyway take Care all & have a good weekend.

jane313 · 25/11/2005 16:38

norms, I had the same result last month so its sporadic ov if anything. I have had a look at the clomid thread but though I would wait until I actually saw a consultant.

Aprilgirl sorry about your 2 m/c. I have 2 friends who had 2 each last year and now are both due early next year. 3rd time lucky!

jane313 · 25/11/2005 14:04

Got second blood test back and am not ovulating which is paticularly annoying as my periods are so regular. So I will give this thread a miss as nothing will happen now until I see a consultant. Its a bit too much like my real life at the moment as I seem to be surrounded by pregnancy. I just wish I was rich enough to get a private consultation rather than wait months and months.

aprilgirl · 25/11/2005 13:35

2nd month of trying so know its still early days but just thought it would be easy!!! feel totally crampy today so sure af is on its way would be great if i was wrong though!

jane313 · 25/11/2005 13:26

aprilgirl, how long have you been trying? I looked on the back of one of those early test kits today and read the small print. They are supposed to show +ves from 4 days before but only in 60% of cases. So your average test wouldn't show +ves when you test early anyway.

aprilgirl · 25/11/2005 11:40

af due saturday, feel totally crampy, sore boobs, and generally run down, took pg test last night just a cheap one from £land and it was a bfn so totally gutted, just hoping that ive tried too soon although with the cramps i think af is going to raise its ugly head! didnt think this would take so much out of me and dp, he was gutted last night when we tested and it was negative just hope it happens soon! had reflexoloy last night and she focused on my ovaries and stuff which she said was supposed to help so looks like uts another month of trying.. well done to all you who got bfp and keep smiling we can do it for those with bfn ... good luck and lots of baby dust xxxxx

puppy · 25/11/2005 10:01

Congratulations iamblossom so pleased for you you could say to work colleagues that you are on medication so can't drink or something like that.

IamBlossom · 25/11/2005 08:59

Thanks everyone. Must say I feel a bit of a fraud being on your thread for such a short time, but it has helped alot to air my thoughts during the past fortnight so thankyou for that too.

Wishing you all the very best of luck with TTC. Early days for me but I am crossing my fingers all will be ok, and looking forwad to a very sober Christmas period....how the hell am I going to keep it from work when we have our annual Christas drinkathon and I am usually the one under the table? Not a chance...xxxxx

well done iamblossom, what a nice short stay on the thread

jen that must be hard when you have all the dates in your head. I'm doing that to some extent when I meet people who are due when I first started trying and its must be so much harder for you.

my af due tues. Hope it comes early cos I want to know for certain so I know I can have a mammogram or not.

compo · 24/11/2005 19:06

really sorry to hear that Jen1209
Congratulations IamBlossom

IamBlossom · 24/11/2005 18:41

Well everyone. I have had a BFP today!! AF still not here, feel knackered and mega thirsty so did a test this evening on a Digital Clear Blue and there you have it!!!!!!!!!

Most disconcerting that it fades away after 40 minutes leaving nothing so I will test again I think. Don't actually believe it!! Especially as my sister has just announced she is pg with her first this morning! Don't want to steal her thunder so am keeping schtum, but if it is true I am due a week before her......unreal.

Jen1209 · 24/11/2005 18:16

Hi all, well 4 days of traipsing to and from Chelmsford everyday and I haven't actually seen the inside of a court room yet. I haven't been picked and the cases keep being delayed! I have spent some time at work but that is frustrating coz they keep expecting me to be fully updated within 10 mins of having over 2 weeks off!! Sorry, rant over...

Well, not expecting AF for a week or so at least. My m/c was confirmed and the bleeding started on 1st Nov so expecting the old bat around 1st week in Dec. Trying to be up about starting ttc again but is so hard when keep thinking that my 12 wk scan should be next Weds etc and where I should be now.

Well, I'm a bundle of fun aren't I?! Hope you are all ok and not suffering too much with snow

Jx

compo · 24/11/2005 09:34

Hi everyone. I'm now on CD29. Not sure when to test as my last cycle was 46 days. Not holding out much hope this month really

andyrobo237 · 23/11/2005 20:33

Well still here and no af-but more of a creamy discharge (tmi!). Also had mild tummy niggles so fully expecting af tomorrow!! Not tested - like blossom also agree just hpoing is better than a -ve! Oh well see what tomorrow brings!!

aprilgirl · 23/11/2005 20:28

hi af due sunday, got terrible pains in the left side of my tummy! same pain when me and dp bd! could this be a sign of anything.... done test sunday (just cos it was in the cupboard) was negative! pain is worse and constant than just a normal period? ant ideas? xx

majormoo · 23/11/2005 16:52

I think being thirsty is a sign of pregnancy-I am sure I kept needing to drink more water from very early on.

Good luck Jane313. Perhaps the NHS are just trying to see people quicker. I know it isn't the same thing, but when I had my follow up smear a couple of weeks ago after my treatment in March, they told me the results would take 3-4 weeks. I was terrified when the letter arrived from the hospital within a week-was convinced it was the bad news and took ages to get the courage to get DH to open the letter. But all was fine. Try to think that it is really good that they are seeing you so quickly.
