Well (slightly shy and abashed look) I couldn't wait til tomorrow ones and I brought the ones that say you can use at any time if you are late and.................................................................................................................................................. BFP

Oh my god, I can't believe it - I am so scared and excited!!!! Haven't told DP yet, will let him come home (I am v early, left work an hour early) and then tell him!!!! Won't be on for the rest of the evening though ladies as DP needs the computer to work from home.... Hopefully this has started the ball rolling and there will be lots more to join me v shortly!

Hiya Girls, I was attatched to you before you merged. Just wanted to pop my head back in again and say hello and also ask you quick question

Has any of you been on the pill and if so how long after you took your last pill did it take for you to start bleeding? I took my last pill 2 weeks ago (yesterday) and still nothing. Its 31 days since the first day of my last af and I'm confused.

kleggie · 12/10/2005 15:59

Thinking about you Jen, everything crossed!

Artoo · 12/10/2005 15:59

I'm on CD17 at the moment, and pretty confused about my cycle this time. All the evidence is that I OV'd on Day 14, which would put me 3dpo, but previous cycles I've OV'd day 17 or 18. However, fertilityfriend hasn't detected the OV yet, as my temperature dropped strangely this morning /shrug.

This cycle is a write-off anyway, as DH is away all week (although if I did OV on Sunday then our BD-ing on Saturday before he went would be better timed than I was expecting it to be, so who knows.

I've done something to my back as well - we did a lot of furniture moving last week, so it must be that. I've been taking Ibuprofen since Sunday, and only read today that you're not supposed to take that when TTC - ooops

Hugs,
Artoo.

milosmum · 12/10/2005 15:56

Which CD is everyone on? I've lost track of who's testing soon and who's just had AF etc.
Ok, I'm on CD19. I OV'd @CD12 this month. I'm a strict 28day girl so I'll test next fri if no AF.

Have told DP that there is no way I can wait til Monday and am going out to by a test (or 3) tomorrow and will use them on Thursday morning. I absoloutely have to know either way! I have also booked to see the DR on Friday morning to discuss the results (whatever way they go).

Hope everyone ok, hope you are feeling better Puppy. Hi to everyone else...

milosmum · 11/10/2005 19:04

milosmum · 11/10/2005 16:33

hi - thanks for the kind messages ladies- i know you must all feel the same. it just gets a little hard sometimes.

im just waiting on AF- theres NO chance of a BFP this month as hubby was away at ov time....

puppy · 11/10/2005 13:49

Thanks homemama, i'll be ok just got to get on with things, and i also must prise my bum off this chair to get house work done, the dust is a inch thick i blame mn as its so addictive (don't post that much but constantly read it)

homemama · 11/10/2005 13:38

Hi dana, no pressure indeed!
I have to admit that this is the first month that I will actually feel upset and disappointed when (if ) AF arrives. Hope all is well with you.
Puppy, hope you feel better soon.

puppy · 11/10/2005 13:21

fingers crossed homemama, i had dull af like pains before i had missed af in both of my pregnancies, lets hope its a bfp in a couple of weeks time.

Nothing to report here like homemama i have af like pains but i am on cd15 and looks i have a tummy bug as i am quite tired and feel slightly nauseous amongst other things which i feel would be tmi lol

Dana · 11/10/2005 13:07

Homemama, I had period-like pains from approx. 5-6 days after ov onwards, and as you know AF never showed . Fingers and toes crossed that is what's happening to you!!!
Yep, me and Lilac are on the same ante-thread. If you fall pg this month, you would just make it into June as well, wouldn't you? (No pressure )

homemama · 11/10/2005 12:39

Hi lilac-love the name change! Hope you are well. I had considered that as I was OVing thurs/fri but I'm trying not to get my hopes up. R u and dana on the same ante-natal thread? If so, that's nice to go through the whole ttc and pg together.

staceym11 · 11/10/2005 12:30

hi everyone, hope things are going well with you all. i know what it feels like to want to rant so rant away!!! hehe anyway not a lot to report, waiting for bleeding to stop (still going strong 4 days later and usually af is 1-2 days, very odd!) and then will start bding like bunnies! its a very tiring buisness this ttc lark!

LilacBump · 11/10/2005 11:11

homemama, i had pain about a week before AF was due, which was very strange, later turned out it would have been implantation!

homemama · 11/10/2005 10:43

Morning ladies, I've woken up with period like cramps this morning. AF not due til a week on fri so not sure what's going on.
Hope everyone is well!
Is anyone testing soon?

OP posts:
jersey · 11/10/2005 09:09

Hi everyone, welcome to the newcomers, sorry terrible rem names . Nothing to report here waiting for AF before starting ttc for real. Fingers crossed for some BFP on our new thread xxxxx

andyrobo237 · 10/10/2005 22:19

Hi everyone - reading all this has made me glad that I am in the same boat as a lot of other people! I used ov kits this month, and then did bding at right time - think possibly last few months it had been too early in my cycle and stopped bding too early! It is frustrating when I was pg first month with dd which was same weight as I am now, and one month after wedding (so stress there) - unless the releif of the big day being over made a difference!!! Anyway there is always an excuse for each month - felt unwel, then had my smear so that obviously distrubed things up there, etc! Only have to wait 2 weeks now - not helped by fact that my friend in work is pg - really pleased for her, but we would love to really wind the boss up that he has o pay for 2 of us off on maternity leave - you would think the money was coming out of his pocket the fuss he makes if anyone is off sick!! (and we work for a council not some small place!!) Better go and have a bath & see if Dh wants an early night!

Debbsywillgetherbeanie · 10/10/2005 21:26

hi Jen well it does sound promising doesnt it ohhh i do hope so for you,i know what you mean about dh as mine was the same he probably doesnt want you to get your hopes up too much just yet as may be too early, my dh was the same but i ignored him and tested anyway and then he used to have to pick up the pieces when ive been in floods of tears, good luck though hun.
Artoo right with you on not knowing what to do with children but desperate for one now also put off till later 33 now as didnt think i had it in me to be a mum.
Mm hun so sorry you feel down i know this ttc feels like an uphill battle sometimes and can drag you down im here if you want to chat ((hugs)).xx
Klegs im sure you will be a fantastic mum not sure how i would cope with 3 godchildren for weekend of af think i would have spent it in floods so well done.
Norms re-check with gp as its 6 mths for further investigations when your over 35.
Puppy i know what you mean bout the whole world being pg it gets too you sometimes doesnt it but you will get there we all will we just have to remain positive.
Hi to Harri,Jersey and Homemama thanks for new thread.
Beth sometimes when having the coil removed it can take a while for af did you bleed when it was taken out?
And ladies i can recommend persona only used it this mth but it pinpointed my ov days v accurately as i had accompanied ov pain also, and with other ov kits it has given me the lh surge later say cd 12 (which was probably tail end as persona went red from day 8,9,10,then cd 11 and 12 i had the little ov sign yet it says sometimes it takes a few mths for that to appear, not with me hee hee so really hoping its our mth as its about blooming time!!
Good luck to everyone on this thread may we all get our bumps soon im on cd 19 btw so in 2 ww

JAG123 · 10/10/2005 20:17

Wow it really has been busy today!

Beth - sorry don't know anything about the coil but perhaps if it would put your mind at rest maybe you should check with GP.

Puppy - Hope it is ov signs for you and sorry about your recent m/c.

Milosmum - I'm sorry you are feeling low. It does us good sometime to have a rant and we are all entitled to get down sometimes otherwise we wouldn't be able to go up again(Hope this makes sense). I'm also surrounded with bumps everywhere my DB GF is due on xmas eve, my BF in Nov, a friend at work left on Fri. Anyway i hope you feel better soon.

Kleggie - Its definately different when they are your own. Your life will change but the good definately out weighs the bad. Just one smile & you will know it is worth it. It is natural to be nervous though i think we all go through that.

Harri - I'm impressed how you manage to remember everyone.

Hello to everyone who i have missed out & i'm sorry i haven't commented on everyone. Hopefully we will get our first BFP on here soon.

Take Care All
J
