I now need to try and focus on eating better and cutting out all the hot chocolate from Costa!

ochaye - glad you had a good anniversary but sorry it sounds like today has been a bit much. Hope you're managing to relax this evening.

mrsden - awww! Keep going! A bit more SWI and ovulation and fingers crossed!

jaggy - here's to your crosshairs tomorrow! Wine

AuntieDoris - good luck with your SWI plan - sounds good!

Thanks everyone for your anniversary wishes. We had a great night last night, but boy oh boy today has been hard work.

I don't have much energy for posting but just want to stay I hope you're all doing ok today. Sounds like everyone's a bit up and down right now. FX for a happy week with lots of ups.

jaggythistle · 20/02/2011 18:17

i think all that happens for recording a BFP is the chart line turning green and a message saying 'it looks like you're pregnant' or something. there is a pregnancy tracker if you can't bear to drag yourself away from FF!

hope you get crosshairs soon Mrsden:)

mrsden · 20/02/2011 15:38

I want crosshairs!! I thought I'd ovulated on Friday, my temp was up a bit yesterday too but then today it's dropped right down (to the lowest temp recorded so far this cycle) so I can't have ovulated yet. On CD18 and was looking forward to a rest from SWI. But will have to keep going I guess!

Hello to everyone, in a bit of a rush so will post properly tomorrow.

Folicacid · 20/02/2011 15:15

I think crosshairs makes the chart come alive! like you chart chart chart and then one day you chart and magic happens. Ha. Does somethign happen when you record a BFP does anyone know? I'd like a full screensaver to appear You are pregnant- Yay!

jaggythistle · 20/02/2011 14:48

hi all.

is it kind of pathetic that i can't wait to see some crosshairs tomorrow? Grin

I'm easily entertained i think...

weimy · 20/02/2011 13:40

Thanks folic and Terrys!

Didn't temp this morning, was up at 4, 6 and 7 with the dogs fussing over one thing or another.

A good morning with the girls gundog training and have loads of targets to work on with them.

So my new focus is the girls and getting in shape.

Hope everyone is having a good sunday :)

Folicacid · 20/02/2011 09:34

Morning all,

Weimy sorry that you are so down- you are not fat and useless- don't say that to yourself. I'm also on a health kick and once you get started it makes you feel great. I think it's really easy to get into comforting self with food throughout this process. i hope you have a nice day planned. Merry Xmas Wink

Truffkin that's good to hear re: the obsession waning a bit. Sounds like you are havng a fabby weekend.

AuntieD You go for it!

Essence sorry should have been clearer, I am TTC, just on second month of chjarting but hae been TTC for what feels like a lifetime longer than that.

Everyone else- hello and hope you are having a good weekend. I struggle to keep up with this thread, there are so many of you!

I got cross hairs today. Felt like I had got the first prize at school or something. Grin so that makes me 6DPO. Ages to go yet. Must stop the urge to start POAS.

TerrysNo2 · 19/02/2011 17:04

weimy lots of PG charts have a one temp dip and then rise again, you're not out of the game yet!! FX for temp increase tomorrow

weimy · 19/02/2011 15:42

Truffkin Thank you! :)It so good when people understand where you are coming from.

I've picked myself up off the floor and given myself a slap. If AF comes on time I will ov round OHs birthday, so I am consoling myself with that and then if that cycle doesn't work the next one could mean a christmas day baby:)

AuntieD I am going to use that same plan of attack!!!

AuntieDoris · 19/02/2011 15:20

I'm back!! Had a couple of weepy days when AF arrived but have decided that I just have to get on with it. Also, have discussed with the DH and we are going to try a different tactic of SWI - going to try every 2 days once AF has disappeared and see if that works.

Oh Truffkin I know how hard it is when you live away from your family. I live in Leeds and all my family live in Guernsey. I sometimes feel disproportionately far away far them. We are hoping to move there in September although it is going to be a financially crippling move.

Truffkin · 19/02/2011 12:44

Oh Weimy it's really hard when you are feeling down and see things that bother you all around. I sometimes feel a bit like this regarding my in laws, they live close to my husband's brother and his family and see them loads (they have 2 DCs and another due in June). We moved to London a few years ago and in spite of them having no financial or time reasons why they can't come to see us, have only been to our house once! We visit them fairly regularly (at least every month or so) and have invited them many times, even giving them a homemade voucher for a weekend to stay with us for the weekend as a Christmas present last year!

I do think that if we had children they would make more effort (and I suppose we would want to travel less) and it sometimes gets me down that their other son has 'provided' grandchildren when we can't seem to do that at the moment!

My Mom has been talking about my brother's baby (well his gf obv! she's 20 weeks) and how she can't wait for another little baby (my other nephews are 2 and 3) and I have been thinking how rubbish I am for not being able to contribute to the growing brood of grandchildren! She doesn't know we are TTC as we've kept it just between the 2 of us, which I'm glad about now as it would be horrible trying to explain why we are still not pregnant after all this time!

Still, I try not to wallow too much (ERTD time is tough though!) and focus on the positive things in our life. We have a lovely place to live, lots of great friends, brilliant relationships with our nephews and niece, great friends with a good social life and we do lots of fun stuff that we couldn't do with children (or would be different) so we have lots to be grateful for.

Have a few Wine today and make sure you get lots of hugs. Here's one to start you off (((Weimy))))

weimy · 19/02/2011 11:24

Happy Anniversay Ochaye, sorry things aren't going well for your sister Truffkin.

Well as expected my temps have started to dip :(. Feel really down this morning as I was secretly believing this was the month and that they would continue to rise. I also stupidly weighed myself and have put half a stone on. Feel fat and useless. I am going to be on and miserable whilst away at a conference that is always full of arguements and stress. Also just found out that my Mum is taking my younger Sister, her partner and their baby to florida in September, I know it is really petulant but I'm feeling very resentful of all the time that she spends with my sister when I have lived in my house 10 years and she has been to see me only 6 times. It feels as though I am not worth the effort because I don't have any children. To top it all off I am still waiting to find out if I am being made redundant, I am in teaching and I am really worried that they are going to leave it so late that I wont be able to get a job until after the October half term.

It's so frustrating and heartbreaking when you were so sure that you had done everything right :(

Sorry, felt like I might explode if I didn't get it off my chest.

jaggythistle · 19/02/2011 10:49

truffkin sorry to hear about your sister. my family are only a few hours away, but i wish i could just pop round sometimes to be there for them. enjoy your weekend of girlie stuff :)

essenceofSES · 19/02/2011 10:24

Truffkin - sorry for xposts!
Hope you enjoy your time with your mum. Sorry for your sister's troubles. I'm lucky that most of my family are close by but all DH's are in Ireland so I know how hard the distance can be.
