Morning all

FF and I are falling out - it is making me cross and confused! I was so sure that I OV-ed on CD17 (ALL the signs were there, even a slight temp increase) but its got me down as CD19 - if it was CD17 then my temps are looking good, if not then I have to wait a few more days. Frustrating, I think so!!

Anyhoo - its a waiting game, again!

karbea ((hugs)) back to you! Hope today is a better day for you. Oh look, you can have one of these Brew!!

AuntieD glad the docs are being proactive, I hope the tests go well.

essence some people are just numptys!! Nuff said

Newgolddream doesn't matter when you put SWI really - but I would do sat, 20 mins will not make a difference in conceiving I am sure.

weimy you are being very mean to us - how can we stalk you if you won't temp!!! Wink When are you POAS??

Ochaye hello lovely!! Smile

Karbea · 22/02/2011 08:09

Morning!

I got my crosshairs today www.fertilityfriend.com/home/332dc0 say's I ov'd on Sat, we didn't SWI on the Friday but did every other day, so hopefully ok.

NewGolden I'm very strict with myself about that and definitely would have put Sat AM.

essence not very nice of M, I wish people would just mind their own business!

terry ((hug))

I'm feeling pretty low at the mo as well, i've another cold, and all the stress of work, moving, wedding is really getting to me. I didn't get dressed or showered at all yesterday until OH came home and made dinner and forced me to have a shower whilst he was cooking. But i'm up today and eating Porridge [yum], need to drag myself out of the gloom!

weimy · 21/02/2011 22:51

essence well done! I had hagen daz instead! I think I am missing the point!!!

IMHO M sounds like a bitch, what is it to do with her? Grr :(

Ochaye I know exactly what you mean, I know I need to do something but I keep thinking what if Hmm

Newgolden I'm not sure, I probably would have put Fri as well. Wink

AuntieDoris · 21/02/2011 21:19

He says he will go for the SA willingly and has promised to make an appointment to see the GP next Monday. We'll see whether he does it or whether I have to nag him, which I really don't want to have to do!!

Newgolddream · 21/02/2011 20:41

Just a quick helloe to everyone, so tired from work today just want to flop into bed so will catch up soon.

Im 3 DPO according to FF, a quick question FF says I ov on Friday and we swi at about 20 minutes after midnight Blush (so technically saturday) - am I cheating to put this in as Friday, looks better lol!

essenceofSES · 21/02/2011 20:36

weimy - I managed it! A day without a Costa hot chocolate!! Grin

Terrys - AAARRRRGGHHH! at 2ww for you.

AuntieDoris - great news! Will DH go for his SA willingly?

jaggy - I'm glad I'm not the only one who's thoughts go all over the place! Hope DS gives you a better night tonight!

mrsden - you will forever be known as thewisemrsden (well until your 2ww anyway!)

MrsA - not sure about your chart, sorry! The usual wait and see what that pesky thermometer says tomorrow, I guess...

My chart is here
My crosshairs have moved to dotted ones since I added EWCM to today. If it wasn't for my CBFM readings, I would be wondering whether I really have ov. I'll wait for tomorrow's pesky thermometer reading!

My day was topped today by a work colleague (M) asking me if I am pg! I know I'm a bit overweight but nowhere near as much as M herself! I mentioned it to another colleague/friend and apparently M was asking her a couple oif weeks ago if I was pg! I'm so Angry and debating sending her an email explaining why that is such an inappropriate question, especially as she knows we had such problems ttc DS Angry

ochaye · 21/02/2011 20:30

Woweeeee tunnocks ... awesome news! I?ve put up some bunting and balloons for you to make up for the lack of celebration on FF Grin.

I am feeling MUCH better today thank goodness. Nights out are just too much like hard work.

weimy, folic, essence, I am also trying to lose a bit of weight and get fitter, but it?s proving impossible. I?m really struggling to motivate myself and I think it?s partly because I?m hoping I?ll not be able to carry on with it in the near future ? which is crazy because it?ll just make it all the harder if I don?t get a bfp. I just don?t know how to snap myself out of it. Any suggestions?

On the subject of crosshairs, what do dotted lines mean? Should I push on with SWI?ing just in case? I was caught out last month and don?t want to do that again!

Hmmmm MrsArch, that is a bit unusual on your chart. Did something happen last night? I?m sure you?re still to ov yet too. FF needs to be taken with a pinch of salt at times don?t you think?

jaggy - I?m struggling with 2ww too and only got my cross hairs at the weekend. It?s going to be awful, but I think it?s normal to feel like this. I?m already symptom spotting! I think if it doesn?t work out this month I?m going to stop temping. I think I?m focussing too much on the dates and I?ve always been better at getting pregnant just by regular SWI?ing for the entire month.

That?s brilliant that your GP was so supportive AuntieD. I?m the sort of person who prefers to be doing something than nothing so if you?re anything like me, it?ll be a huge help getting checked out.

Terrys, Terrys, Terrys - hope you?re ok. It?s too early for AF yet. Stay positive!

Karbea · 21/02/2011 18:43

auntie thats really good to hear, can imagine that will be OH and I in May. Hopefully it'll just be something really little that they sort out.

weimy · 21/02/2011 18:31

mrsden Grin
AuntieD thats very reasuring!

terrys sorry you are feeling low :(, 2ww sucks. Weimy number three is licking the screen sympatheticaly :)

AuntieDoris · 21/02/2011 18:06

Well, I went to my GP today thinking she would send me away with my tail between my legs commenting"You have only been trying 6 months!!!"

In fact she was really nice and has agreed to send me for basic blood tests - FSH/LH, thyroid, sugar and whatever else she has written on the form. She has also asked my DH to come in so he can be referred for a sperm analysis.

Feeling a bit better, even though I hoped I wouldn't have to see her until I was up the duff!!!

TerrysNo2 · 21/02/2011 15:11

Feeling down, CM all dried up and have some kinda pant snot (sounds lovely I know) - had same thing last month just before AF. Sad

mrsden · 21/02/2011 14:50

Weimy I'm only wise today because I'm not in the 2ww yet, all sense goes out the window then!

weimy · 21/02/2011 13:53

Jaggy I know just how you feel, my temp drop hit me hard this month because I felt I had done everything right.

Mrsden is a very wise woman!

jaggythistle · 21/02/2011 13:32

Thanks, I needed that Grin

I know I am being silly, just dreading the BFN/temp drop.

I got it all back to front - when we were TTC last time I was all set up to take ages, no expectations, so was Shock at fast BFP. Now I am so impatient Blush

I shall now behave. :)

mrsden · 21/02/2011 13:14

jaggy I think I read somewhere that even if timing is perfect and everything else is perfect there is still only a 25% chance of getting a BFP. I like that statistic because I keep thinking that it doesn't necessarily mean that something is wrong because I haven't fallen pregnant after 7 months. I'm sure that I haven't had the timing right every month, and then even when we have got it right there is still only a 25% chance. I find it easier to think that we just haven't been lucky yet.

I do think that we are led to believe that getting pregnant is so easy and it happens straight away for everyone. But that can't be true. I think that people probably downplay how long it took them after they get a BFP.

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 21/02/2011 12:50

jaggy you're being silly!!
Try not to stress. It drives me crazy too - so much so that I am thinking that once ov is confirmed, I will stop charting till af arrives.

I keep focussing that many fit, healthy women (incl celebs) take 8 months and more to conceive, so it's prefectly normal to take a while.
Shame I'm not fit and healthy though.......

Congrats tunnock wow that was quick! Good luck.

My cycle is all over the place atm. I got my lowest temp ever today. FF has me 7 days post-ov but I'm not, I'm sure. I'm still waiting for ov!

www.fertilityfriend.com/home/MrsArch

jaggythistle · 21/02/2011 12:15

Eek mrsden. hope your temp is up soon - I was kind of flagging a bit by day 6!

Somebody talk some sense into me - I am having a bit of a 2ww freak out. Blush

I think because I have made so much effort this cycle I am going to be really diappointed if it doesn't work. :(

I have talked myself into the last 4 months of 'failure', being down to not enough swi/bad timing so am getting a bit anxious to find out!
Probably just because I am grumpy from being up late!

I was lucky enough to conceive after only 2 months with DS so I think I was secretly hoping to do something similar this time.

Tell me I'm being silly!

weimy · 21/02/2011 11:56

mrsden maybe it was the 18th?

I've not temped today I think I will leave it till my next cycle.

Essence I am very proud of myself , I walked straight past Costa today Grin

jaggythistle · 21/02/2011 10:36

I hope 6x SWI is a lucky number for me too!!!Wink Grin

nice to 'meet' you Tunnocks

Morning all

Congrats tunnock - I think that you must take the record for shortest stay on the thread ever!! Grin

Yay for crosshairs jaggy
Not so yay for essence but keep up SWI as FF might change its mind, do you think you have OV-ed already?

mrsden and karbea FX for crosshairs soon.

8/10dpo here depending on which way you look at it, nothing happening but some minor cramps - this week is going to take FOREVER!!

Morning,

Congrats Tunnocks Grin was this your first month ttc?

Yay for your crosshairs jaggy hope your DS is feeling more settled.

Weimy hope you're feeling a bit better, have you taken your temp today?

Doris I'm pleased you're feeling a bit better, it's strange but I always feel more positive once AF is here, the worst bit is the few days before when you know you're not pregnant.

Still no ovulation for me, getting a bit panicky that I might not ovulate this cycle. I'm not sure I can keep up the SWI for much longer, Jaggy I've followed your lead and tried everyday but that was when I thought I'd ovulate on CD16!

Here is my chart www.fertilityfriend.com/home/mrsden

not much to see on it though, fingers crossed my temp starts to rise.

jaggythistle · 21/02/2011 08:51

thanks essence

I am just assuming it's teeth - can't see nything yet and I got my finger nibbled when I tried to check. Have seen him chewing on his hands though. I was so excited to have him eating and sleeping normally again, lasted about 2 days need more Wine, but maybe not in 2ww, should really be good and cut down!

FF sometimes comes up with funny stuff, hope it was wrong :(

essenceofSES · 21/02/2011 08:33

Morning all!

weimy - I'm going to do my best to avoid Costa today as a hot chocolate with cream most mornings isn't doing my waistline any favours!

Jaggy - woohoo for crosshairs! Hope DS doesn't suffer too long!

I have crosshairs too but it gets a boohoo from me as it means FF thinks I ovulated on CD12 (Fri) instead of my usual CD18 and there was no SWI for us until yesterday morning :(
I just have to hope FF is wrong Hmm
