Hello! Please excuse me barging in on your thread but I have a question that I hoped one of you lovely ladies might be able to help with.

I am ttc#2 and using OPKs, CBFM and temping. (It took 18mo and 2mmc to conceive DS and I really can't wait that long again - partly as I'm 38 next month and partly because I'm just impatient!)

Anyway, I had a +ve OPK on CD16, my first peak on CBFM and loads of EWCM. However as far as my temps go, other than a stray 36.46 on CD6, they were all between 36.21 and 36.36 until CD17 which was 36.47, CD18 was 36.41 and then CD19 (today) is 36.69.

If I was just looking at temps, I'd probably say I ovulated yesterday on CD18 but that doesn't tie in with CBFM & OPK. What do you think?!

jaggythistle · 26/01/2011 07:13

Morning all.

Think today's temp might be more accurate, although I took it about an hour early I did get...wait for it... 5 hours sleep in a row :O Think DS is feeling nearly better so hopefully more sleep for everyone.

chart here

your link has gone wrong MrsA, will have to go back for a look later, should be working Blush

Sorry it's CD1 again Terrys FX for this cycle.

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 26/01/2011 06:58

battery your temps have gone up slightly. Have you tested again?

Who else are we stalking? Terrys sorry af arrived but at least your chart looks kind of normal after your loss.
Drink!

As for me, no crosshairs yet but gone up slightly do you think I've ov? Grin
I'm pretty sure i ov cd 25. Thoughts?

TerrysNo2 · 26/01/2011 06:31

Morning all. CD1 for me but expected it and had a good sulk yesterday so not feeling too low today.

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 25/01/2011 22:54

battery I'm keeping my fx that it does indeed turn out to be a proper bfp for you and the temp thing is just a blip...I know nix had a completely bizarre mountain range chart just before she got hers.

If it doesn't turn out to be, and you're seriously worried about Asherman's then please seek out mummyabroad on the ttc after mc or other thread (if you haven't already). She's been through it and has tons of info.

Still hoping it's that bfp though! x

TerrysNo2 · 25/01/2011 22:34

battery I am expecting AF tomorrow too and can feel her on her way. I hope she doesn't arrive but if she does we can console each other!!

batteryhen · 25/01/2011 22:27

Quick post before my internet goes off again....
MRSA - Ashermans is scarring of the uterus - I am worried I have it following my ERPC but am trying not to get too worried as it is just another thing to add to my worry list.

The doc looked at the (very very faint) line and said 'oh' and I said 'oh' so she said to repeat it tomorrow with a first wee.
I would lay my life that I am not pg, just a quick evap line I think - or another CP??

digi Yes I am getting my HCG done and have many bfns since ERPC. I just feel so AF it's bloody annoying.

Will update tomorrow but am pretty sure it will be BFN ... Night night all xx

digitalgirl · 25/01/2011 22:18

battery are you going to get hcg levels tested to see if it's rising? I can understand your worry, but you've had bfns since your erpc haven't you - I'm so hoping it's a bfp for you.

spilt good news on the scan!

karbea have fun!!!

mouse take as much time as you need...there's no set time it takes to grieve. If just thinking about going back to work makes you stressed then you're not ready.

I was also told that given my healthy ds my three miscarriages were unlikely to be anything more than bad luck. And so far all tests have come back normal, so I guess they were right. Frustrating that I can't guarantee the next pg will succeed with a 'treatment' but reassuring that it's not my body that is failing these pregnancies.

TerrysNo2 · 25/01/2011 22:14

MrsA how I wish I had watched One Born Every Minute instead of the horror that is My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding. What horrendous TV, surely this isn't what all travellers are like?!?!?

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 25/01/2011 22:04

battery how bizarre. Excuse my ignorance, but what is Ashermans?

Have just watched one born every minute on sky+ and cried by way through it.

Karbea · 25/01/2011 22:00

I just had some pain on my right side, so just did a OPK and i'm ov'ing - which is nice Smile

ravenlocks · 25/01/2011 21:20

Yeah battery, what did the doc say about your line??

Hope you will POAS tomorrow and get right back on here to update us!

MrsP81 · 25/01/2011 21:17

mouse, I am so sorry to hear your news. Sad I can only echo the other ladies in that you should put yourself before work.

So glad your scan went well spilt.Smile

My body is acting strange today, CD11 and I'm having weird crampy pains. Not something I usually experience at this time.

Hello to everyone else and hugs to all that need them. X

TerrysNo2 · 25/01/2011 21:11

battery I don't understand how its not possible for you to be PG, sure your line has dropped but a line is a line right and no such thing as a false positive?!?! Confused

batteryhen · 25/01/2011 20:46

ps if ~I had my ERPC on what would have been my 12 week scan date, and also my due date from first MC. You do plan these lovely things ( I was going ouf for dinner with friends and was going to tell them) and certain dates come up and hit you in the face. Full on. Just to remind you how crap it all is.

However, the next day is a different day xx so hugs to you xx

batteryhen · 25/01/2011 20:43

mouse - I can't pm you for some reason :( I had about 2 weeeks off in total after mine. Physically you will feel ok - mentally it took me a while (prone to crying at the drop of a hat). This time is about you, and DH. Work will cope. Also don't be worried about asking your Gp about at least getting some bloods done - the bloods you need are on this link. bloods
You can print it off when you are ready and take it to your gp xxx

I have had 2 mmc and I have had bloods etc but I am also a pensioner (38). I don't want to bombard you now, in the next few days and weeks just concentrate on you xxx

split fabby news:) well done you xx
terrys sorry about AF. Be my cycle buddy :)

Weirdness happened to me today. I have had AF pain for 2 days - no AF. I am convinced I have Ashermans, so I saw my dr who has referred me for a scan to check my lining etc. I had to do a preg test - faint line appeared. I nearly fell off my chair. However, nobody get excited I am definitley NOT pg - chart says so and so does period pain. I have to do another tomorrow and have bloods.Crap crap body.

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 25/01/2011 20:34

ifatfirst sorry you're feeling Sad and frustrated...everything about mc is just rubbish. Big ((hugs)) coming your way too x

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 25/01/2011 20:23

You are all such a lovely bunch!! :) I'm so glad that all seems to be well spilt you really deserve it x I am now on day 13 of bleeding and am getting very frustrated as we were hoping to start TTC again ASAP, I even used the ol' BBT this morning (although I must be a bit out of practise as I would have gotten a higher reading if I was dead! Confused It should have been my 12 week scan yesterday and this morning I was pituring how happy I would have been and getting prepared for making my announcement at work today! :(

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 25/01/2011 20:20

mouse oh how awful. I am so sorry and wish I could say something more comforting.
Just take it one day at a time and like others have said, put yourself before work.
If it helps, talk to a hcp/doctor to get an 'official' opinion - I expect they would say take some time off and help you feel less guilty.

Spilt glad your scan has gone weLl.

Terrys sorry af on her way. Be kind to yourself, it will happen again I'm sure.

I'm on 1 or 2 dpo I think. Just need big temp rise to confirm.

spilttheteaagain · 25/01/2011 20:13

Thank you

Lets share the virtual tissues and have a hug. It sounds like we all need it!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 25/01/2011 20:10

(((hugs))) to terrys - you will get your bfp soon, hang on in there x

TerrysNo2 · 25/01/2011 20:05

spilt I honestly didn't think about my MC when I heard your news, I think Bobbie's death is so strong in my mind as I joined the thread about that time that I am just so so Grin for you because you have been through hell. You really do deserve this and whilst I wish I were in the same position, that doesn't take away my happiness for you. Smile

I am feeling a bit low today though, AF is on her way so the MC hit me really hard this morning. Looked like a right plonker blubbing on the tube Blush.

Holding onto hope that lots of you conceived after WTF cycles.

ravenlocks · 25/01/2011 19:57

split - great news Grin - wishing you an uneventful and happy pg!
