Well here we are on volume 5!! Plenty of room for growing bumps and stashes of Thermometers and pee sticks!!

This thread WILL bring BFPs, everything crossed ladies apart from your legs!!

OP posts:
MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 02/02/2011 06:48

Morning ladies. Well 9dpo and temps plunged this am.
Was up with DD at 5.30 (damn growth spurts!) So re-took my temps an hour later and they had dropped even further.
My LP is normally at least 10, often 11 days so not sure what is going on.
If af arrives today, my lp will only be 8 days!

Hope everyone elses day goes well. Anyone testing today?

digitalgirl · 01/02/2011 22:40

Thanks for your support ladies. I think I'll stop temping now.

I had some cramping overnight which is my usual pg symptom, so thought I'd test this morning or I'd spend all day wondering. Today I've had the occasional achey boob, which I only had with my pg with ds so hoping that's a good sign.

Not much mentalling yet, as its not really sunk in.. I will, however, keep testing till that line gets bolder, then stop after that as the line's never faded when I've mc'ed so it doesn't hold any more reassurance.

mrsa ov pain - could be the corpus luteum getting it's 'signal' to keep producing progesterone? Ov pain/throbbing in luteal phase has always been a good sign for me. Fingers crossed.

mouse glad you're taking this week off. Stocking up on ov sticks is a good sign too. Think waiting a cycle is a good idea too, will at least eliminate that worry next time. With all 3 of my mc's I never got as far as looking pregnant, just fat. Boobs always deflated even before it started. Is it worth taking up swimming/running to help kickstart your metabolism and make you feel better?

battery sorry you're feeling down. When are you next seeing dh? And when can you two actually live together?

ifat hope your cycles return to normal soon.

MrsP81 · 01/02/2011 21:28

Congratulations digi! Smile

There are a few charts that look good at the mo, fingers crossed for you all.

Sorry you're feeling crappy battery. I also feel grumpy.

CD 18 here and still waiting for an egg. DH and I are finding it hard to keep at the SWI this month. I think we're a bit emotionally drained by the whole process.

jaggythistle · 01/02/2011 20:59

Dh giggles at me greeting every time ochaye. My eyes are usually leaking within about 1 minute, just from seeing the intro bit Blush

I record Glee and OBEM, haven't had time to watch either yet, working in evenings at the moment.

Well , using the term working loosely of course as you can see...

ochaye · 01/02/2011 20:50

jaggy and MrsA ? I greet at OBEM too. Doesn?t everyone? It?s hugely emotional.

IfAtFirst ? glad you got your BFN. It?s such a roller coaster isn?t it? Happy about things you shouldn?t be and vice versa. I hope you catch your eggy.

Hi to the new charters I haven?t met yet. Hope you?re enjoying this lovely thread Grin.

Newgolddream, of course you?re not past it! Don?t be crazy!!! We struggle to fit in enough SWI too. I?ve found that as long as we can fit it in every 3 days, it tends to be successful-ish. I have big plans for this month. I?ll still going to chart, but we?ll just aim for the 3 day thing as soon as af packs her bags.

Looking forward to a much less troublesome cycle this time Terrys. I?m still laughing about your MN?ing either side of SWI last cycle ... hee hee hee ...

digital - I hope you?re doing ok and not mentalling too much. Are you going to test again?

It looks like there?s going to be a testing frenzy soon. There must be more bfp?s out there looking at these charts!

Sorry you?re feeling crappy batteryhen. Sounds like you need to treat yourself to something lovely to cheer you up ...

mouse, I didn?t get so far into my pregnancy before my mc, but I did ?feel? pregnant for a while afterwards. Not too long, maybe a couple of weeks. I found it a lot easier to come to terms with it all once I started to feel ?normal? again. I hope you?ll feel the same soon.

Waves to everyone else!

mousebacon · 01/02/2011 20:29

Hi spilt I'm ok thanks, had a bit of a wobble telling a friend tonight but I'm ok.

Just off work for this week so back on mon - unless I have a breakdown before then.

I still look pregnant. I grew a proper little bump and I expected it to go down because it did last time but my boobs still feel pg and I look pregnant.

Did anyone else have this? I've probably put normal weight on but I feel uneasy about it.

spilttheteaagain · 01/02/2011 20:14

Lovely news digi Smile

Do come and natter to us over here too. We are the brand new and not quite so new BFPs fretting and checking our pants.

Hugs battery I'm sorry you're feeling so crappy at the moment Sad

mouse Grin at 50 OPKs! I did just the same about a week after my loss. It felt like a hopeful step. How long are you off work for? Hope you are coping ok xx

mousebacon · 01/02/2011 19:53

Yay digi how brilliant - god I hope this is it for you, I really do. Lots of love xx

ifat I usually have long irregular cycles but ov'd 3 weeks after my last erpc and got pg straight away - a miracle - it took me 12 months with my ds and the first baby I lost. Obviously it didn't end well but I just wanted to say it can happen Smile

DH and I have agreed not to try until I've had a period (incase it was a thin lining issue) so can just relax on the ttc front for a few weeks which will be the first time in over a year! I did order 50 opk things of amazon last night though...

xx

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 01/02/2011 19:28

Har har. busy

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 01/02/2011 19:27

Many congrats digi hoping this one sticks.

Quick post. Mentally busy. All fine - too bust atm to obssess over what the next few days will bring.
Have what feels like ov pain. Wtf??

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 01/02/2011 19:15

none event here too! After my relief at getting my long awaited BFN yesterday, I now feel slightly sad that we're now officially back to square one. With no idea when I'll ov, I've been constantly peeing on my HUGE stash of OPKs with a hope that I can catch the egg - if one does actually arrive this month. I really really hope this m/c doesnt knock out my cycles as they were nice and predictable!

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 01/02/2011 19:10

Congrats Digi - I must have missed that post, here's hoping that all will go swimmingly!Grin

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 01/02/2011 18:40

Also de-lurking to whisper a congrats to digi - I've got everything crossed for you x

I'm cd10 here so nothing interesting and have been staying away to reduce mentalling - have decided to ditch the thermometer for the 2ww anyway this month to try to stop the obsessing so wish me luck! Will continue to stalk you all xx

batteryhen · 01/02/2011 18:33

Just de-lurking to say congrats to digi - am really pleased for you :)- you really really deserve this :)

Am very grumpy at the moment - work is crap, not seeing dp enough which is also crap. Crap crap crappy.

Will come back when I don't feel as rubbish xx

Iwish · 01/02/2011 18:12

Oooh congrats Digi!
I got a v faint line and it's just got darker ever since. How are you feeling? Did you think you would be or just test on the off chance?

I've been stalking quite a few of you today and charts looking v good. strawberry have you not caved and tested yet??

Big waves to everyone xx

OP posts:
angster · 01/02/2011 16:59

ooh Congrats digi, I will cross fingers for a sticky bean for you.

Mrs Den - your chart is one to watch, i think it's looking very good especially at 14dpo.

CD4 for me so very dull. Had acupuncture today for the first time - strangely achy now!. He spent ages looking at my charts and although my LP is 10/11 days, he doesn't think i have a problem but he said he will get my cycles back to what they were before m/c and strengthen and lenghten luteal phase. I'll hold him to that! Smile

jaggythistle · 01/02/2011 16:54

Congrats and fingers crossed for you digi.

Am still grumpy as I have (or have imagined having) some crampy feelings and also had a big argument over nothing with DH and then felt all tearful. So if AF isn't here in teh next couple of days I shall be especially surprised.

Ok that's my grumpy me me me bit over, how's everyone else? Grin

As you can see my not MNing at work plan has failed again....

I have the access diagnostics thermometer too - seems ok?

FX newgold

weimy · 01/02/2011 16:45

Digi Congrats! Grin

FX everyone else still in 2ww!

I am only cd3/4 so all boring here and very tired of grapefruit juice!

TerrysNo2 · 01/02/2011 13:41

Digi big congrats to you!! Grin Grin FX for a really sticky one!

CD7 here so nothing exciting to report, waiting to SWI which is always fun!! Wink

Newgolddream · 01/02/2011 12:59

Hi mrsden not sure what make my thermometer is but I bought it from the site Access Diagnostics who specialise in fertility stuff, long since binned the instructions but Im sure it did say it was accurate to 2 decimal places which makes it a BBT thermometer as this is what is required for recording temps when charting fertility signs.

AF isnt here yet, so remian positive.Smile

Congrats digital I didnt realise you had a faint BFP!

StrawberryCreamTea · 01/02/2011 12:58

Delighted for you digi! Grin Grin Grin

Tough call on the temping, it'd probably be useful to do to have a full picture on the chart, but of course at the same time every slight dip will probably stress you out wildly!

I reckon leave the thermometer in a drawer for now and try to relax (easier said than done though I know...)

mrsden · 01/02/2011 12:50

Congrats digital Smile I am going to keep everything crossed for you.

digitalgirl · 01/02/2011 12:25

Thanks hardertokidnap it was so faint though, that had to get dh to check it wasn't an evap line. It's definitely pink so am recording it even though it could well turn into a cp. Af due this weekend so v silly of me to test so early. The question is do I keep temping till I'm at least 14dpo (I think I'm 10)?

mrsden I tend to get ewcm before i get af, but I've read others on mn get it when pg. So difficult to tell... I had a very flat chart in my last pg. When are you expecting af? Your chart looks v promising!

strawberry fingers crossed for you too!

newgold good so far, nice healthy shift.

mrsden · 01/02/2011 12:23

Don't worry, I don't mind people stating the obvious. I had already thought the same but it is giving different readings when I try at different times. It does go to 2 decimal places (and they are different) but I've been ignoring them because when I read the smallprint it said it was only accurate to 1 decimal place anyway. I suppose if I put in the second decimal pace it wouldn't look so flat. Does your thermometer say it is accurate to 2 decimal places? Do you know what make you have?

I just did a bit of googling about ewcm and apparently it is quite common to get it just before AF.

Newgolddream · 01/02/2011 12:11

and your right about quality over quantity ! Grin
