Can I join this thread now that I'm a married woman?

Jemma7 · 31/10/2003 12:20

oooops that was meant to say "I wouldn't want anyone............."

Lots of typo's in there but pissed off so i don't care!

Jemma7 · 31/10/2003 12:18

Good Luck Quackmeister!

Glad things are looking up for you - have jsut found out that my DB and his Dp are ttc.

i know it's not a competition but it really pisses me off because i don't get on with my DB's DP and fon't have the best relationship with DB but it would be just their luck to fall PG straight away!

I would want anyone to have a long struggle but that would be just typical - they fall on their feet for everything and this would be the icing on the cake!

Can anyone tell i'm feeling a bit down If this month isn't or month i think i am going to find a very large mountain (Not that there are mountains rounf here) and scream as loud as possible for as long as possible!

quackers · 31/10/2003 10:58

Good luck Jemma, good luck Cinnamon and anyone else at the nd of the cycle this week!!
I am on day 11 and feel like my cycles are righting themselves! Might not need clomid afterall but we'll see. Going to try and get DH to give me some action tonight!! Today and tommorw are my fertile days if all is well!!! So wish me luck! First month of trying again!

Jemma7 · 31/10/2003 09:10

Well campers, on day 32 today!

Only 6 days to go and counting - keep getting cramps in my stomach, not painful cramps but actual cramp like you get in your foot etc.

Seems to happen when i'm sneezing or stretching my stomach.

Anyway, will know in 6 days time - Good luck to everyone else

Cinnamon · 30/10/2003 18:03

Hi nik nik. No I haven't done a test yet, I'm gonna wait til Saturday. I know it sounds silly, but until recently my cycle has been exactly 28 days, so over the past few months when I've been late by 24hrs I do a test and it comes out neg. So although i really do wanna test I'm holding back so as not to tempt fate! Fingers crossed cus my cycle has never exceeded 30days in the past.

niknik · 30/10/2003 15:47

Woops sorry about not spelling your name right. Are you normally 4 days late. Lots of people on this thread have had positive tests with First Response the day their periods are due, so it might be worth testing

Good Luck

niknik · 30/10/2003 15:42

Hi Cinnoman have you not done a test

Cinnamon · 30/10/2003 15:14

Hello there, found this site by accident and now addicted! I have found loads of excellent advice and ideas. Have been trying for nearly 12 months now and went to docs last week for sperm and blood test - but unable to get another appointment to get results until 24th November - not too bothered cus got 2 week holiday coming up so aiming to relax and enjoy. Although bizzarely pd now 4 days late! Hope to enjoy chatting with you soon.

sibble · 28/10/2003 18:37

congratulations niknik, here's hoping some of us join you on that July thread. Don't hold out much hope this month though as not day 28 until next Monday but have had period pains for past 2 days (worse than usual actually).
Hope everything goes well for you.

Egypt · 28/10/2003 18:05

Congratulations Nik Nik!!! Excellent news. Don't worry, period pains is all part of it. well done

DON'T DON'T DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!

BigBird · 28/10/2003 14:59

IKWYM cd!
We've just had a weekend of it but it's hard to keep the momentum up!

it was scary having pph at that time - I thought it was AF at first but then soon realised and made a quick dash for the hospital. Luckily I was only in overnight.
If and when I have #2 I am not going anywhere on my own for the first 6 weeks! It would be a nightmare to have that happen again when travelling or standing at the checkout in tesco with white trousers on - LOL

CountessDracula · 28/10/2003 12:50

Sorry Bigbird, forgot to reply to your post before hitting post!

I've never heard of a pph so long after giving birth, that must be REALLY scary - at least we were in hospital and had the right people there to deal with it.

Well my BDing has gone out the window this month (was supposed to start on Sunday) as dh and I are both ill and not up 4 it. May give it a try tonight, but as my mum is staying it kind of puts you off IYKWIM!

CountessDracula · 28/10/2003 12:47

CONGRATULATIONS Niknik!!

Fabulous news. Fingers crossed for you

mollymay · 28/10/2003 12:43

CONGRATULATIONS niknik - I'm the same as Jemma7 - on day 27 and counting until day 38.....

niknik · 28/10/2003 12:25

Thanks everyone,

It is strange I found out yesterday about being pg as it was the due date of the pregnancy I misscarried in March.

I'm going to my GP's this afternoon, so that I can get booked in with a Midwife.

According to my book (and if all goes well) my due date would be July 5th so I am going to lodge on the June thread (if its alright with them) until hopefully you can come and join me and keep me company on the July thread

Good Luck everyone

quackers · 28/10/2003 11:54

Gosh that's amazing NikNik!! Well done!!!!!!!!!!!

Jemma7 · 28/10/2003 11:32

Oh Niknik - Well Done!
Try not to worry too much - can u get to the hosp ASAP and get an early scan?

See, what did i say the other day about people starting clomid or being referred for tests and falling pg in the interim!

COngratulations

BigBird · 28/10/2003 10:04

CONGRATS NIKNIK

BigBird · 28/10/2003 10:02

Bogwoppit · 28/10/2003 09:02

niknik · 28/10/2003 08:51

I'm feeling really apprehenisve though as I've got period type back and stomache pains so I'm trying not to get too excited.

Thanks for asking podmog, feeling pretty crap still but a bit better I think. The cavalry has arrived in the form of my mother so spent the pm in bed and feel more rested! PPH v frightening isn't it (not you princesspeahead!)
